  1. Oh,it so wonderful to find this review - this was first Lego set I ever had! And still one of the coolest on my opinoin. Some parts were lost, other I gifted to younger child, but I still remember that wonderful shiny chromed harpoons and crystals and bright-orange pieces, oh sweet memories :) And those two guys were main heroes in almost all of my Lego games, mostly they were time travellers to castle world :)
  2. I recognize your shelf :) very nice, can't wait to see photos from behind! And lift mechanism especially. And what do you think about dragon? Also,by the way, I have master Wu dragon and it's great, may be combination of details of these two white dragons would be something extremely epic! I just little sad that elves dragons have no bends in elbows and knees, but from other side this makes them look much pretty and solid.
  3. Excellent review, thank you! I had some doubts about to collect money to buy it, but now I'sure I really want it. And I'm happy that there were no elves sets in my childhood and it appear just now because only now I'm able to collect most of them! :)))
  4. So inspiring! And so many different characters
  5. Cool idea! There's not so many water sets in elves series, your moc adds many interesting details to this sea adventure theme. And legolas-haired Farran is nice, hope there will be something like this in official sets once!
  6. Thanks for your comments! I have principle "use all bricks you have!" :))) So maybe it forces me to some strange desicions, and I'll think how to rebuild it. Now I think bridge is too short and want to try separate those buildings and make witchouse little more spacious. About horns: I wish that Ragana from the story were not be so definitely evil, I prefer if she would be like Malifecent or Nemi - wiser and with strange sense of humor.I think therefore little signs of her style would not seems too creepy and weird among other elves' stuff. It's my alternate vision, by the way :)
  7. Oh, that's so cool! What is light brick and how it works? Is there battery inside it or there's wires somowhere?
  8. It's great that glass keeps the dust out of your collection! And where are from that lime green circle with crystals in the back?
  9. Oh, that's strange, i reboot the page and it's okay :( And you're right about Treetop! I hope I'll get both sets until end of the year :) Sometimes I think it's strange that adult person is going to collect Lego, and it confuses me a bit, but building something is really great brain relax, much better than alcohol or videogames (espesially when you spend a whole dat before display at work) , so why not?
  10. Thank you! On my opinion, the best thing about lego is that if you have some details, you would have so many sets as you may build! Also, I'm thinking what new set to buy: I can't choose between Treetop Hideaway with lot of cool brown pieces, leaves and large baseplates, and Secret Marketplace with very intresting theme, beautiful architecture details and funny dragon.
  11. Very atmospheric! I like design of everything here, so clean and with good proportions. But I think it's too tidy and orderly for those elves, who like crystals and magenta flovers everywhere
  12. Hello! I've got some new sets and rebuilded my little kingdom :) Here's two houses - one is something like magic workshop with crystal wall and tea room on second floor and another is special place for witchcraft with cauldron, tree, little wooden bridge and small room below decorated with weapons. You may see some details are based on Ninjago Master Wu Dragon set - there's amazing dragon! For me that's best Ninjago set. Yeah, I think elves may like katanas! At least, it's just beautiful. The goal was to make good color combinations according to Elves series idea - with little crazy sparkling color strikes everywhere. I absolutely like unusual, bright and rainbow-like color schemes! So I've tried two. Magenta and orange-yellow are too strong colors - I think they dominate good among dark and saturated warm colors. Every castle has it's secret: After building houses there left a lot of that bricks, and ah, those evil black horns! So here's wagon of Dragon's Bakery :) All view: Thanks for watching! And please, exuse me for my bad english :(
  13. Great idea! I like combinations of magical and technical stuff, it's always cool to build with logo. May you describe how wing-moving mechanism works, please?
  14. I ilke this houses in arabian style! What is inside them?
  15. Oh, this glow effect is fantastic!
  16. About favorites - it's hard to make decision! Everyone of characters have it's personal idea. But may be I choose Aira - the cutiest one for my opinion and in the same time she's not just foolish lavender-haired girl, she's inventor of some cool items. My favorite dragon is Zonya, and that's great that it is not one of the most expensive sets! I hope to see more male characters, it would be exellent if Lego will add cool haired guy like Legolas or some kind of brutal elven warrior! :) That way all girls who love fantasy will be attracted irreversibly
  17. Nice idea! Building seems solid. I think maybe adding some details as tree branches and fairy furniture would add much "elven" look.
  18. Wow it's wonderful! I think it's one of the best elves theme moc I've seen. I like beautiful color balance and lot of details esprssially big lamp on tree. That ladder inside tree is atmospheric place
  19. I modded this dragon by rotating to the upper side ball-joints that attach legs to body. This way legs became longer :)
  20. Great, I like his color scheme and epicness! :) Do you have close-up photos of him?
  21. Brilliant set! Dragon is pretty. Head have no so much articulation freedom, but it's enougt to pose him in nice-looking ways. It's good idea to hide leg joints so it gives solid form, he don't similar to a robot-like creatures from Ninjago and Bionicle and I like it! Yesterday I bought Master Wu Dragon from ninjago to combine theese dragons, but both of them are so great so I can't take desicion to break them to build something new
  22. Awww, That's gorgeous! Espesially I like the white tower and boiling water here, and facade of house have very accurate style. I think that if elves theme would get closer to classical fantasy style, it will be something like this :) Golden weapons from Ninjago perfectly fit here.
  23. His head is amazing! He looks like big angry cat. I'm interested to see it in different angles!
  24. Thanks a lot! When I shared this it's not so sad to demount it to build something new! I like Lego because even with small amount of tiny details it's possible to build somethning funny, and this is good relax for brain.
