LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

Yeah I've think they've stepped up the fight scenes. ˙ǝlɐuᴉɟ MƆ ǝɥʇ ɯoɹɟ ʇɥƃᴉɟ ɐʞosɥ∀ Λ lnɐW ǝʞᴉl uᴉɐƃɐ pǝddɐɔoɯ ʇᴉ pᴉp ʎǝɥʇ ǝʞᴉl sʞool s,ʇɐɥʇ sǝlɐʇ ɟo ǝposᴉdǝ ssǝɹʇuǝΛ ʇsɹᴉɟ ǝɥʇ uᴉ ǝɔuǝnbǝs ʇɥƃᴉɟ ɐ s,ǝɹǝɥ┴ Yeah I think she's a stand in for Darth Talon, she'll probably have a different name and she looks different (she's pink not red but I suppose she could get tattooed) and I doubt they'd put her in Talon's outfit, but she's clearly meant to fill the role Talon had in George's Sequel treatment. -

That's the end of day one but I'll try and put a few updates in again tomorrow. I know I said this but i don't even mind that it's between episode 3 and 4 again because I love Maul and this show looks pretty epic. I imagine we'll get a least one set hopefully more but given how they treated bad batch maybe not. -

Yeah the snowtroopers look better without the cloth on . I'm currently sat in the audience waiting for the animation panel, hopefully we get something big there! I'd love a new mainline animated Star Wars show to fill the niché left by The Bad Batch. Personally I'd like something a bit further away in the timeline. May High or old republic but I know that nearer the movies is more likely. -
Are there too many licensed LEGO themes?
Agent Kallus replied to imposter's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I didn't even think about that, but you're absolutely right!!! It is a bit different as star wars only has one and a half different tellings where as DC has many. That's very true and I suppose you also argue that D&D set was something of a hybrid as it was it's own new module and interpretation of the sorts of characters you get in D&D, of course that wasn't just Lego's interpretation though as we had the fan designer too. Dew it That's probably because DC gorillas is a more tight focus than lanterns? -
Dark Stinger Mantis (75389 Dark Falcon Alternate Model)
Agent Kallus replied to codyaner's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow, this is great. It might be the best one of these rebuilds you've done yet. And the non-csnon colour scheme isn't even a problem here as you can change the look of the mantis in game ( I tended to go with yellow but I digress). I'm almost tempted to get the set just to do this! Maybe I will if I see it discounted, I like the minifigs included in this one but they were never gonna be enough on thier own to justify a set of this size. -

We can only hope it's not international but even if the effects on Lego don't affect Europe there will definitely still be an impact felt over here. They've already delayed the release of one of the star wars books in the UK, due to global supply chain issues, which is a pain it meant I wasn't able to get my copy in time to take it with me on holiday. The British people (well barely over half of the voting age people that actually went out to vote, and I was only just too young to vote at the time) maybe have voted for Brexit ( though there were a lot of fraudulent claims on what that would mean anyway) but at least we didn't vote for it twice!! -

Would be pretty annoying if it is across the board as Americans may well have voted for this but no-one else thought it was good idea!!! But it is affecting the global supply chain so I can understand that thinking practically it is likely to have impacts across the board. -

Agent Kallus replied to imposter's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hybrid themes? Not sure what you mean but Well I was talking I the DC thread a while ago for my idea for a 'Hybrid' licensed them. The idea being Lego giving DC the Ninjago treatment and doing there own take as an action theme but using existing DC characters. @CloneCommando99 breathed a lot more life into the idea. -
Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion

If I had 2 copies I'd make more hobbit holes! I've already got two smaller ones I've made previously but a bigger Hobbiton will always be appealing! My copy arrived a little while ago but I'm on holiday at the moment so it's gonna have wait till I come home in May. -

The numbers are for both marvel and DC right? Not that DC will get many but I can always hope! -
Latest impact of other themes on historic themes

Let's hope that it's the first of many appearances and that they not as rare as the seagull ( or worse the ostrich). -
The first 10 episodes of DRS3 are on Netflix now here in Japan. I haven't watched any of it yet as I've been busy.

I mean as I did say, Spider-Verse inspired so it could have the super collider and not be just in office building but yeah I can see that Oscorp might be the more interesting building. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Agent Kallus replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I mean in terms of what fabs want personally I'd love some sort of fantasy era remake with trolls and Dwarves and so on (but the D&D stuff did help fill that niché somewhat, I hope we get a second D&D CMF down the line..) I'd also love to see some new torsos per faction to help in create variety ( and Kingdoms green dragon knights back please) but I digress. In terms of Pab being so much better than battle packs I have to disagree. Small sets fill a different niché and would be more convenient to pick up plus the two could work in tandem, with any new parts from smaller castle inspired sets going on to appear on PAB too. -

This looks really good, really expands the purview of what a creator set can be. A lot of new patts and prints for characters and a brilliant looking build. I'm excited to see it properly. -

I suppose the Kamino craft in GWP should count, though it's not something I'd have picked. -

So the keychain isn't a medium GWP but insiders points? I'm less interested in the random tat GWPs than the actual builds but it's still a bit of a downgrade compared to the precedent set in the last few years. -
LEGO Videogame Tie-Ins - Rumors & Discussion
Agent Kallus replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I just hope it's a minifig scaled display set. Either of those two games would be great they've got some of the best character designs of the series. Talking about character designs, we've not had the 2026 CMFs confirmed yet so I'm gonna keep hoping they do a Zelda one at some point next year, at very least I hope they don't waste a CMF slot on twelve recolours of the same damn car. My ideal set would probably be a TotK stable, if they Riverside stable they could have a great fairy fountain sidebuild and maybe a tiny little cave with a bubblefrog and Koltin ( though both of those would make for good smaller sets if TLG was so averse, Kilton's shop would be a good one too). Of course it would feel weird for them to make characters like Mastro, Penn and Beedle before any kind of Ganon/Ganondorf but I feel like a hyrule castle would be too big and the the stable is a better representation of the moment to moment to moment gameplay in TotK ( Zonai contraption sidebuild?). Perhaps Hyrule castle would make more sense as a twilight princess set, with Wolf link ( with Midna), Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, Zant and the Hero's shade. Ultimately there's some many different directions they could take this theme. I'd like an array of smaller sets like a TotK/Botw Boko camp, king of red lions boat, a Guardian, loftwing or a brick brick blue piggy Ganon maybe echos of wisdom with Zelda and Tri. Maybe they'll release a full wave alongside the next big 3D main line Zelda game? Probably not. I saw Octane Thermoplastic's Zelda builds in Newport the other weekend ( definitely the highlight of the show which was otherwise a pretty bad ratio of shops to builds, but I digress) and it just shows how much potential the theme has. I dunno, if they're gonna cost this much then they I couldn't keep up if they pumped them out too fast! I bought the Deku later than I'd initially planned because they price didn't sit right with me for the size of what you're getting, I know part of that is due to the 2 in one nature of it but nevertheless as someone who probably buys Ninjago the most out of all the themes, I balked somewhat at the price ( and for that price they should have included a spare master Sword and Hylian shield so you have more options with your Links). -

Looks like the Enderman and the Zombie got busy and he's their lanky hybrid son . I think it would probably look less out of place if it wasn't juxtaposed by the current one. -

Maybe a Fisk tower semi-inspired by the first Spider-verse movie? Throw in Spider-Noir and some of the characters missing from the CMF, maybe a new Daredevil variant too. Or they could throw a curveball and make another DC D2C let's say a Modular Ace Chemicals or something? I mean I'm sure both DC and Marvel will be getting D2Cs next year but I doubt they'll both get Minifigure scaled ones, maybe though.
