  1. ALICORN celebration (or so my two daughters tell me ) A stonking review of a great build. Thanks for the giggles
  2. Fantastic detailing, are they all connected or separate builds?
  3. Had the FO Tie Fighter bought as a pressie from the wife (admittedly after I bought the Falcon myself). Tie Fighters just rock my boat, there's something about them that just makes me giggle like a school girl
  4. Building on it just adds so much more to what is a dreary set.
  5. The set looks pish, however the review is a right giggle to read. As for your thumb, i'd suggest stop biting your nails
  6. Fantastic build, good use of colours and highly detailed.
  7. Nice handy list. I've recently re-awoken my lego craving and have been buying random bricks from Bricklist, mainly masonry pieces, flat plates, 1x1 rounds and squares, for moc buildings. I've gon bonkers on LDD, building instructions and now sitting here with a pile of random bricks wondering what the hell to do with it all. Then i remembered to get some base plates!!!! It can be confusing for a new AFOL like myself, so these sort of lists do help. Thank you
  8. Awesome work, am really liking the colours and the fact it's modular. I'm a big fan of Steampunk, but lack the necessary coloured bricks to knock anything up
  9. In which case, i may well have to get one
  10. Fantastic build and you've really captured the feeling of the building
  11. Read a couple of reviews of the Decool stuff, they're not bad. The tumbler is very tempting
  12. Aye it is, it's quite noticeable. Not seen the new version to compare though
  13. Just had an email from Brickforge regarding a new(?) minifigure design. Modular bodies with different hands and swivel torsos https://www.brickforge.com/blog/altered-ego-component-diagram/ Look quite interesting
  14. THat is one impressive build, love the detailing and layout. Well done
  15. I was a KFOL, TFOL, AFOL then went "dark ages" for 7 years now i'm back to being a AFOL. Finding out that i've missed out on so much in that time
  16. My brother in law has the Deadpool minifig, it's not bad but not brilliant either. The legs are a slightly different shade from each other and the decal is wonky
  17. Fantastic so far, nice interiors and overall layout. Dread to think the cost involved in actually building it, but then again who cares. GET IT BUILT
  18. Work colleagues know, family knows. My father in law thinks it's cool because at 67 he's still into lego although he tends to use it to show my daughters how to make molecular structures . My wife is suffering of it because of the costs involved and my youngest daughter who is 9 thinks i'm a big kid but doesn't care as long as i buy her lego whenever i buy it! I'm 47 this year and have never grown out of it, although now i'm more into modding than building standard sets. On a side note, i recently left the armed forces, i'm a mountain bike instructor, gamer and cycle mechanic so my interests vary. Lego is just so good
  19. Nice collection, where the hell do you store it all
  20. Couldn't you adjust the bricks yourself in LDD to slopes and tiles etc?
  21. Very nice limo. would it be easy to fit a roof?
  22. I just double-clicked it and it opened in LDD.
  23. Many thanks for sharing, looking forward to building one myself
