  1. I'm still really impressed with this MOD. I'm glad to see you're still doing work on it. Keep it up ;)
  2. Very good! One of my favorite quotes from the series
  3. I think he was going for this. Which looks very good comparatively. Although the front looks to be lower in the picture.
  4. Just got 75150 Vaders Tie Advance vs. A-wing. :)
  5. I've been on the fence for that one as well. There's a couple at my local store, that they take off the shelf, then put back on. It's like they're teasing me
  6. Awesome! Saw it on the freemaker adventures. Was wondering when someone would make a MOC of it
  7. Just received the Ewok village that I ordered. Can't wait to build it
  8. Just purchased Ewok Village. Waiting for it to ship!
  9. Wow! This is one of the best mods I've seen for this set. Great job
  10. Are those suit cases that are used for the engines?
  11. I'd like to see one of the mechs that the bots use from the first episode.
  12. Looks good. Great job!
  13. Hahaha, my wife does the same thing
  14. I see your point, it makes sense. I just can't work myself up to part out my other sets to MOD another. Maybe one day when I get past the novelty of the sets I will. But right now probably not. Haven't got into bricklinking yet either, just been working on my collection
  15. That's alright. I know some sets need work, and I like to see other peoples MOCs/MODs. But I personally don't like altering sets unless it's with pieces that came with the set
  16. Very nice work
  17. Now, if you have both plus the microfighter. Which figure should pilot the blue one. Snap? Rebel pilot? Or just keep the Poe figure in it?(there can be only one Poe!) ;)
  18. Sounds like a keeper
  19. Ha! Great minds think alike, that's exactly what I did. Sadly I don't have the pieces to do the full mod Nice! I usually put them all in the same bag. At one point I had a 1x4 plate extra. After I had built 10 different sets, some of them big sets. Drove me bonkers for weeks. Finally went through all their instructions and found that my wife had put together 75034 incorrectly and had not put the piece on
  20. Extra pieces! So extra pieces aren't a big deal to me. Usually they are just pins and single stud pieces and the like in my experience. My stand was that if there is a piece with 2 studs or more then I missed the step that told me to put it on. Which would drive me crazy. But recently with the Homing Spider Droid 75142 I had 1x2 pieces in the form of the vent type pieces. Then more recently, today actually, I built the Resistance Xwing 75149. When I was finished with bag 3 I think, I had a 1x2 flat tile in sand blue piece extra. I looked frantically to see if I missed something, to find I didn't. Which wasn't that big a deal because that particular style of piece I could plate somewhere to help improve the set. So I may have to change my rule previously stated. What's everyone else's experience with extra pieces, and what have you done with them?
  21. I think the theme is pretty cool. It has actually taken me out of my Star Wars sets only collection. But I only have ultimate Aaron and Clay. I only plan to buy the fortrex and all the ultimates though. But the sets are relatively cheap, so I may buy others while I'm in between waiting on Star Wars sets.
  22. My wife got me the Resistance Xwing 75149 :D and the Star Scavenger 75147 :/ for our anniversary. Although I told I her I didn't want 75147, it's kind of a neat little set minus the construction equipment that is built with it.
  23. That's pretty sweet
