  1. Finally completed Tie Fighter on hard with most secret objectives. That game sure takes a while to complete, but man I love that game. The story and gameplay are both very compelling, but I wished they could remaster it, orchestrate the midi soundtrack, speed up the lasers and linking the damn ion and laser cannons on the gunboat and TIE Defender. I'm also a bit less pissed at Thrawn having the admiral ranking in mini-fig form; the guy was still a bad-megablocks back then. I'm gonna pray hard we get something Rebels related for Season 4 in Lego form.
  2. I'm glad you enjoyed this set, I never cared much for this before watching the movie, and even after watching it. Mini-Figure wise it's okay, the two resistance guys I don't care for them much, especially the dude that screams recycling. That set was the only way of getting troopers and Phasma at the time, and Phasma turned to be really lame. She may even be included in a TLJ set. It feels too stubby, and that upper section is too big. It really doesn't do it for me.
  3. Stormtroopers x16 Tie striker pilots x6 Thrawn Both U-wing and Y-wing microfighter pilots Krennic micro fighter shuttle pilot.
  4. This looks really amazing, and that pricing! And no stickers too by the looks of it. Well shit, I have to get that thing for my father.
  5. I disagree, I was wet from trepidation when Obi-Wan came out of hyper space near Kamino.
  6. For that pricing and mini-figs line-up they could have released Jango's Slave 1. The set looks like on what it's based on, the ship is nailed on and the stud shooters are easily removable. I get they had to include the ring for the piece count but that doesn't look too exciting IMHO. Didn't Obi-wan just had a star fighter set release though? It seems a bit redudant... Apart for the two battlepacks this summer wave is really boring.
  7. Poor pilot, he can't see a thing in that cockpit! :O
  8. I'm ready to beleive the theme will only last 2 years. Straight up removing the summer wave seems silly.
  9. I said my numbers were give of take 10$, which are similar to VaderFan. Both are plausible.
  10. This is adjusted by comparing DKK retail prices with US$. Take this with a margin of error of 10$. 75176 - 40$ 75177 - 50$ 75179 - 80$ 75187 - 90$ 75188 - 100$ 75189 - 110$ 75190 - 140$ This looks like one heck of an expesinve wave, similar to TFA. Strangely one of the constraction figure is going to be priced 5$ than the rest.
  11. Nope, themes lasts 2 years, sometimes even less. Sales must have been satisfying but not amazing. I'm really hopefull that something interesting will come out of all this.
  12. ''I really hope it's not an ESB reboot intensifies''
  13. I'm glad I only payed 40$ for Takodana, the figs are really nice but the build is really underwhelming.
  14. Brickpickers must be shitting bricks right now. Thanks a million for the info!
  15. UCS B-wing was 50% off the online Lego store when they decided to retire it. I also remember Toys R Us and Wallmart selling their remaining Tumblers and Ewok village at like 30% off. Currently Assault on Hoth is 10% on amazon.ca.
  16. I'm pretty sure the theme is still active via Dimensions, Gimili can still be bought from Lego.
  17. I finally got Battle on Takodana for 45$ CAN + taxes from amazon. I wasn't going to pay nearly 90$ for this.
  18. The Hobbit trilogy killed almost any hype in regards to the Tolkien universe in my opinion. It made an indecent amount of money at the box office but I don't know if the sets sold well, If I remember correctly they didn't stay on shelves very long. I guess the frustrating part is that what was offered from Lego in the original trilogy isn't really complete, and thus collecting everything is less appealing.
  19. ''Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Stash2Sixx the Moderator? I thought not, it's not a story shit posters would tell you. It's an Eurobricks legend. Stash was a moderator on Eurobricks, so powerfull and wise he could chamber users... to create clean threads. He had such knowledge of moderating that he could even keep the threads he cared about from dying. The ways of moderating is a pathway to many abilities some consider unfair. He became so powerfull... the only thing he was afraid of was losing the 2017 Star Wars Pictures and Rumors thread, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunatly he taught Eurobricks everything he knew, then the users shit posted him out of his position. It's ironic he could save save threads from death, but not hilmself.''
  20. 50$ US for the Arc.
  21. I had some reservation for this set but I finished building it today. It's extremly huge! Definitly one of my favorite set, and a worthy UCS.
  22. Took of break of BOTW and got through the Ringed City dlc for dark souls 3. Those boss fights were insane.
  23. I really wish the famous ''price per part'' of 100 per 10$ could get the hell away. Sure it's simple and convenient but it doesn't tell the whole story. Size, mass and number of figs is really what matters. The Snow Speeder looks at least 20-30$ US over priced. Especially since they could have ditched the mini-figs to keep the cost down; I'm not agaisn't mini-figs with over-sized UCS sets when in good taste but these two feel out of place in this case.
  24. Getting this thread locked only gives time to mods to put users in the chamber for the billionth time about wildly speculating in the wrong thread and posting fake info to be interesting. 275 pages for 2017 as of April, 15 of them must be legit news and on the spot reactions and the others wild speculating and wish-lists, which have 2 dedicated pinned threads. Very happy to hear there's going to be change for 2018 from Stash, because this thread is down the shitter despite Josh and Stash' constant reminders.
