  1. It also doesn't work 90% of the time. Every time I try to import something into Stud.io, pieces get moved around and rotated in spatially impossible ways, things turn into question mark blocks, whole sections of the model change color or turn invisible, strings and other flexible blocks lose all their posing, and all of the decals are erased. And custom bricks still don't work.
  2. Well, that's a relief, even if it does mean I'm not back to having absolutely no idea what the problem might be. And I just found out that RenderMan costs a lot of money, and a lot of money isn't really something I have, so that solution's back off the table for the foreseeable future.
  3. Oh... that's a good point. How would I check that?
  4. Either it doesn't need it, or I've already got it, because I've never had any issues before. I'll be sure to try those other things you said, though. EDIT: Whelp, deleting the db folder and making the db.lif file writable didn't work. Time to try RenderMan, I guess.
  5. Alright, I'll give that other program a shot, then.
  6. Tried repacking the LIF already. Surprisingly it doesn't seem to have effected LDD to POV-Ray at all. Any idea what would cause that?
  7. Hello all, I'm having a bit of trouble running LDD to POV-Ray converter on a build that uses Stephan's Custom LDD Bricks and Fixes for the first time ever. I got an error message saying "Unable to generate necessary includes. Part ID 69729 is not supported by the current brickset version" (sometimes it says a different part ID, though). Does anyone know anything about that?

  9. Got a few last 28631 decals for you. I hope I'm not skirting too close to the deadline. I tried to stick to the UV map @jester provided, but I'm still not 100% confident they'll fit correctly, so please let me know.
  10. Awesome, thanks. How'd you figure that out?
  11. Awesome, thanks. I'll get started on the other decals I was going to do for that part soon.
  12. Hey, I think I just found an interaction that needs to be fixed. CAPE, PONCHO and CAPE, PONCHO NO. 2, which are supposed to be worn together (one on the front, one on the back) in order to create a complete poncho, can't be worn together.
  13. *excited gasp* I see the long legs! Did the Iron Man decal fit alright? I can't really tell from the picture.
  14. Some more 2454 decals. I think this is probably all I'm going to do for now, apart from a couple more 28631 decals that I'm going to do as soon as I'm sure the Iron Man decal I made earlier for that part fits.
  15. Here's a Death Star greeble decal for part 2454. I decided I'd earned an easy one. I'm not totally sure the artboard dimensions are compatible, though. 2454's shape doesn't really translate well into squares.
  16. Updated sentinal head decal with what I believe is more accurate coloring. I'm going to leave the brow ridge as it is for now.
  17. Do you think I should've gone with a light gray for the mouth interior instead of the white? That original image I used for reference really could've gone either way. I'm also debating whether the brow ridge should be straight on the bottom, or alternately, curved on the top. Has anyone seen the actual piece in person?
  18. Another decal, this time for part 30151.
  19. A'ight, try these on for size. Part of the center of the energy pattern will be cut off because the LDD doesn't seem to want to let the texture get as close to the stud as it does on the actual part, but I figure there's not really anything that can be done about that. Or nothing I can do about that, anyway. I have no idea what's possible on your end.
  20. This is really good. I like that bigfoot is also taking pictures of the humans. Also: Can someone explain to me what "clutch" is? I keep hearing that word being dropped in LEGO-related contexts, and I have no idea what it refers to.
  21. Alright, I think I've got it centered. I'm gonna power down for the night and report back when I've got a finished product or two.
  22. Alright, before I mess with anything else, let me know if the hole is in the right place now. I think I got it, but I'm not real used to the way Illustrator does guides so I'm not totally confident in that.
  23. Huh... you're right. I'll see what I can do about that.
  24. Here's the web. The energy effect is going to take me a little longer because I didn't think to do it as a vector.
