    There is no special boost function. It just Lego Boost version of Tracked Racer So if you have Lego Boost Set you don’t need to buy Tracked Racer Set. Just build it by yourself! And control it by using Bluetooth instead of IR as it was in original set. Yes, they work fine. It is original Lego Boost design to built tracks in such way. Vernie the robot instructions show how to build it. I just rotate it and made it little bit robust
