The UCS box images were leaked. Toy Fair officially kicks off Saturday morning so I would expect tons of pictures of all the new sets (except Rogue One) throughout Saturday.

I wish they did the interior of Echo Base. Could have done the hanger, bacta tank, and command center. Would have been nicer as a cohesive UCS play set. This just feels like a mash up of previous sets.

Looking at the top of the box there is a crap ton of minifigures. So that will help justify the price. Can't wait to see display pics tomorrow to get a sense of the size and scale of it.

With the UCS badge, this also takes one of the UCS slots for the year since TLG only releases 1-2 a year. Makes me think Death Star will be 2017 (Rogue One and 40th anniversary of ANH is next year).

The badge matters to someone who collects UCS only. Now the completionist side of me has to have it lol

All signs point to it retiring soon, so maybe scoop it up during the next double VIP event in March ;)

Pretty sure this is a large play set and not UCS. Lego has been pretty consistent of including the gold UCS badge on the last few ships and I don't think we will see the badge on this. Brickset says this is UCS -- Lego has not confirmed that. We should know more tomorrow when toy fair starts ;)

Good call. Can't wait to see the pics this weekend! I passed on Ewok Village but I have a soft spot for Hoth.

Haha, sure is ;) Also use 'Digital Man' when this one is taken. Brickset lists it as UCS for now, but Lego will confirm once it is announced. I think it will be at Toy Fair judging by last year when they announced the UCS TIE Fighter at TF for a May 2 release.

I binge watched all 5 seasons of TCW last year on Netflix and I agree. In the beginning she was really annoying and I really had no love for the character. As the show progresses however, she develops into an interesting character and by the end of the series you actually have an emotionally vested interest in her (look at the last few episodes). Not sure why the hatred, but I know for the most part she is one of the most loved characters from TCW -- even among hardcore fans. I see the snowspeeder being in the 1500 piece range for $200. It's not a large ship to begin with...

I'm thinking it will be just like the Ewok Village and be a $250 large play set. In fact I can see Ewok Village retiring soon and this taking its place on the shelf. Technically not UCS imho but that's an entirely separate discussion ;) I'm more excited for the UCS Snowspeeder as I'm a ship/display kind of guy and snowspeeder is on of my favorite vehicles from my childhood. Insta-buy right there for me!

NY Toy Fair is this weekend so we should be getting nice looks at all of the new sets. Hopefully UCS Hoth will finally make an appearance as well ;)

I also feel like they are trying to justify the higher price of these sets by including that one exclusive figure. Encounter has Unkar, Takodana had Maz and helmet less Kylo and Carbonite had the Ugnaught. Guess they assume the minifigures make up for the rest of the lackluster set and become the selling point.
