  1. Will this suffice? I based it on this image.
  2. That was fantastic. I had a good laugh, especially with the last line. Great stuff!
  3. Went to the Lego store to pick up my free Lego 2017 calendar. Came back home with 2x 75165 Imperial Trooper Battle Packs, 2x 75160 U-Wing Microfighters, 75164 Rebel Trooper Battle Pack, 75162 Y-Wing Microfighter and two A-Wing pilot polybags for my purchase. Damn Lego, they know I can't pass up on those new sets.
  4. Once again, excellent. I think I am running out of praise for your work because you certainly deserve a lot of it for all the quality content you continue to provide! All I can add is that the build is impressive as always and that your stories are intriguing to read. I wonder if there will be a closure on the whole Goatm An affair one day.
  5. Great build, the RO vibe is certainly real. I like it and I am excited to see what's next!
  6. Han mentions Boba Fett's name twice during the Sarlacc battle, right before he sends him flying against the sail barge.
  7. A really good movie, I liked it a lot despite some minor criticism on my part. But what it did right, it did excellently!
  8. Welcome to the Rebellion! We are always glad to find new recruits, especially since we just suffered a defeat from the Empire in the last episode once again. But it's just a small setback! We won't give up!
  9. Great build as always, the stun shot is excellently executed. But I really, really dig your plot and writing. Something about it feels very natural, in a Star Wars-way, something about the way the characters act and talk to each other. It's almost like reading an X-Wing novel, and as a great fan of Aaron Allston's work, that's about the biggest compliment I can give you. Eager to see more!
  10. A nod to this legendary scene, perhaps? Awesome review, interesting figs. I've gotta admit that some of them are pretty cool, but what caught my interest is the Eraser. I wonder if his head piece would make for a good IG-88.
  11. The core rules mention that you can make a freebuild in a "neutral" location and then proceeds to list the planets claimed by the Empire or Alliance, so I believe that any planets other than those would count as "neutral locations" since they are not claimed by any faction and should therefore be eligible to earn you up to 4 XP.
  12. Most impressive, the build blends modern and archaic looks in a very artistically way. The sheer amount of red brick parts is impressive in its own right and the roof, well, a thing of beauty. My only valid criticism is that the photography is a little dark this time around, which makes sense when you were going for a deep night setting, but it actually makes it a tad too hard to make out all the great details that deserve to be seen in this build! I like reading Goatm Ans entries a lot, I hope there will be a more thorough follow-up on how this operation of his will continue.
  13. Fantastic contest with a lot of great builds to look at and lots of intruiging stories to read. Congratulations to the Empire; I really would have liked to see our team victorious this time around, but your outcome ahead of us was well deserved with a lot of impressive builds. Personally, I am very satisfied with the results, I honestly didn't see me score that highly and it was a pleasant surprise which encourages me that my approach to the game is a good one even though I don't feel like a very good builder. Great work from everyone involved! I am looking forward to the next chapter, plot-wise it really feels like the stakes are being raised with hunting down the Black Sun and such!
  14. @LucasLaughing Thank you, I am looking forward to it :)
  15. Great Sullust, great story. I agree with Josh, the detail about pheromones is a great touch and instantly acted as a throwback to the SotE stories for me. Well done, and I like how Jannik's immunity saves the rebels in this situation. Keep it up!
  16. Great effort! The multiple levels are cool and interesting to look at, each section has lots of details, even the underside that you didn't show off prominently (I took the liberty to go through your flickr photos). The speeder is great as well and that panel thing with the transparent bricks looks fantastic. If this was backlit, it would look simply stunning, I imagine! But it's already great to look at nonetheless. It looks like a dire situation for Josh and his comrades. Who came up with this risky mission? Seems like someone in command did not plan this thoroughly enough.
  17. I think I love everything about it, it is so well done and there are so many details. Yet, even filled with cool details, your hangar is clear and neat, very good. The micro ships are a great touch as well and I like how you used the spy collectable minifig, I had a similar use in mind when I got it recently. It's a great fig for covert ops type characters. As I also enjoy all your story parts, I am looking forward to that freebuild you mentioned. I really like the backstory you have going on here; the corrupt officer and ISB using him to get a hold of Black Sun activity are excellent details that tie in perfectly with the episode's plot and the events you depicted in your entry. Great job all around! /* I forgot to ask: what are those big, big stud-less pieces that serve as your hangar floor?
  18. I apologize for double-posting, but I have a question for future entries. The rules are pretty clear about no 3rd party parts and goatman further clarified this at the top of this page; however, as I am learning more about lighting, I came across products like LifeLite. I figure that they probably count as unauthorized 3rd party items and therefore cannot be used in builds, but then again, if I am illuminating my build with a flashlight and other stuff to create moody lighting, isn't that using non-lego products to my advantage just as well? I was just wondering where to draw the line. I understand that there are official Lego LED lights, though afaik their uses are far more limited than what other brands offer. I was wondering, could I use whatever LED lights I have and add them to my build for lighting purposes, as long as they are not visible (i.e., attach an LED lamp underneath or behind transparent bricks to act as a lightsource)? And if so, does this apply to Lego-like stuff like LifeLite as well or only "normal", non-Lego and not compatible lighting systems that don't come in brick form?
  19. Nice work! I like how the build works as depicting a busy corner of Tatooine. The colors and buildings work well and there are just enough people/droids to make it feel alive. Too bad we only see the victim from behind and never get to see a full frontal shot, but stuff like this tends to happen and you only ever notice it afterwards when it's too late. The ladder part on the platform seems a bit unfortunate, I can't tell if it is intentional or not. Maybe you would like to have the platform a little higher or lower so that the ladders better fit the height. Other than that, I think it's a nice little scene!
  20. Great Naboo scenery! The look is spot-on, the minifigs are well chosen and I really like how you split this up into multiple modules. This would actually make a fantastic and authentic Theed playset, in my opinion, it could really be an official set. The transport is very well built, though the design seems very alien to me compared to other TIE-like ships. It kinda reminds me of an insect of some sort, but I cannot really place it. The way the troops come out on a rope is a great shot, very well executed!
  21. I like it! It's small and clean, yet instantly recognizable as Theed. I think you nailed the architecture and overall design of Naboo with simple methods and it works perfectly. The water is a nice touch, along with the duck. Good job!
  22. A clean little build, too bad we're not seeing more of the factory here. But since you decided to enter late into the episode, I understand how you probably wanted to keep things simple.
  23. Cool entry! I really like that claustrophobic feel you created with your photos, it suits a snow storm on Hoth very well! Great work on the minifigs and their outfits, too. That necktie piece goes surprisingly great with the Bith head, clever detail! Another Forresto episode to enjoy, that's for sure.
  24. A cool entry, I like it. It took me a while to find the sewer pipe everyone kept talking about, I guess my monitor is calibrating too dark, haha. I like the intel popups you did. I wanted to completely decipher your aurebesh text, but couldn't work out the operative's name due to three letters not used elsewhere! Still, a very nice touch, I like this kind of stuff. I also like the general color scheme going on. Very military, but in a Star Wars way. Cool!
