  1. Nice job so far. I've been building a scraper myself. Impressive machines. IMG_7895 by Legorigs, on Flickr
  2. I use florists wire to keep shape in the tubes. It's more rigid then copper- or metal wire. You have to figure out what works best for your train.
  3. The RV looks incredible. I especcialy like all the stuff you build to make the scene even more realistic. For example the rc car, mountainbike, powercords, etc.
  4. I like the buildings, no doubt they look Dutch . But I have my doubts about the traffic. Dutch police is called politie and they are dressed in yellow or white jackets with black leather pants. The Dutch taxis are rarely yellow. I understand the wish for an Ukrainian bank, but I haven't seen one in my country. I hope this challenges you to get more Holland in your Holland street . In case you didn't have intentions to build a "real" Dutch scene, but just Dutchish, I'm cool with that.
  5. Nice job. There are some issues with proportions, but I like the look.
  6. Thanks to all of you. @Dr_Spock I think the North American trucks are impressive to anyone and I like the looks of them for sure. That's one reason I started building them. I also choose to build US style trucks, and more specific Mack trucks, to avoid copying work of others. There are some great Lego truck builders in the Netherlands and I think it's more interesting for the visitors of the exhibitions we participate in, that we kind of offer a broad specter of the trucking industry. But I like trucks in general, so at times I'll build something European. I allready build me a DAF 95XF.
  7. It sure looks amazingly great. Top job.
  8. Bravo. Such a joy to watch and discover all the little details everywhere.
  9. I like your progress on this. Just a thought, cann't you use a white tape instead of paint on your pneumatic cylinders? It's less permanent and easier to apply in most cases.
  10. It took me a while to spot who could be talking ;-)
  11. Looks tough. Great job.
  12. Instead of a beam, a plate 1x8 with tile 1x6 on top would also be suitable. Then you'll have two studs you can use to connect it in some way to the rest.
  13. predict
  14. Great job on both the bird and the tree / branch.

Just a quick intro: - I'm Daniël - I live in the Netherlands, Amsterdam area - Born in 1971 - Interested in LEGO, modeltrains, computing, cycling and hiking (and a whole bunch more, but I won't bother you with that) - Work in HR Into Lego since my childhood. Had some darkages and refound the abs in 2004 after discovering the works of Legotrucks (www.dennisbosman.nl). I've been building trucks and trailers in scale 1:13 since then. Mack Cruiseliner
