Great, entertaining and fun to read review!! The commentary was very good and the jokes made me laugh. Especially the random screaming pilot box art Now about the Sea Plane. I am undecided about this set. I am not really a plane fan but this has a nice shape and looks nice. The opening yellow doors where you store the suitcase is a nice touch. As for the Minifigure he is really generic, they need to make some new torsos designs for City The little add on, what is the pole thing? I know the container is for gasoline.

Is it the version with a 9v Regulator? Version 1 Version 2 170 Euro= $248 I have this set and I really liked it, however I would not pay $250 for it Here on BrickLink.com you can get it MISB for as low as $165 + shipping (from store that ships to your country) , which would end up still being cheaper than $250 That is from a USA perspective however This is a good buy as it is in your hands and you don't have to worry about making accounts, sending money, dealing with exchange rates, waiting for shipping, etc.

Sounds Interesting?

Nice, thanks for the pics! The hoodie figure is nice, but the car is useless to me. I will buy this set only for the fig Also I am glad that it is only $5 Is this a TRU exclusive ( ), or a mass retail? The Traveler is also nice This must mean there are other 2010 sets out there waiting to be found , before their scheduled release Reviews anyone?

Yea I agree here. The Metroliner has IMO the best interior for any LEGO passenger train made. It had, snack bar, sleeping area, toliet and sink, cargo area, engine room, seating, and Driver area of course. Basically everything that a real life train has. This wasn't hard to accomplish either, no new molds or special building techniques developed. Now all they have as an interior are seats and tables and if we are lucky they have storage for suitcases I also agree with Holodoc and what is the Power source. If they make PF, will they include all the motor parts? Will they include track? They are called Cargo and Passenger Train not Engine. The EN is listed on LEGO.com as an Engine. Or will they still have the parts available separately which would be for driving the price up

Thanks Whung! Your Amazing! Where did that copter come from??? In these days of prelim pics and leaks this is a nice surprise!! The Limo is nice, not great but still pretty good. I guess I will have to get this now too The Octan Truck is looking better and better each time we get better images! Pig Pen is great, they all look much better now with the box art

Greetings, Welcome to EB and Train Tech! Nice! It is a very cool set and the train engine is quite appealing to me to. Plus it has plenty of cars to pull and a nice track selection. Also good that you bought extra track, as layouts are where the fun is Of course! I am not sure about AstroTurf and if the turf grass will get stuck in the train wheels when it rolls over? One way to attach would be the ultimate LEGO sacrifice and that is to glue the baseplates down to the plywood Although it means committing to that setup, it will be nice. This is true and it has already happened. LEGO has decided to go with PF (Power Functions) The first PF train set is the Emerald Night (EN) Link Here are all the PF you need to run it, sold separately of course Together it will set you back around $250 for Train, Track and Motor parts They also have introduced a new curving plastic track You bet there is. If you want to start off big, start with the best there is Purchase your copy here here for a cool $180 MISB Or build your own, which can be just as good, if not better No Problem!

Hey, this was a rumor sometime ago, what confirmation proof do you have? Did you see these in a dealer catalog? Or sneak into LEGO I expect this to come true, because it is a high probability. Very exciting news ! Now I wonder how they will make the Trains? Cargo and Passenger are good. The Level crossing is also very interesting I hope the Train Station is larger and not like the small town one in 2007

Thanks! I did some co versions, and was surprised at the difference. Traveler, would be $4.40, actual price will probably be $3.50 Light Repair Truck, conversions was $19, actual price around $15 I think Octan Tanker, $22, actual price probably $20

I remember that site, I was member back then It really was a shock coming to this new site, quite a change from the old. Now its a shock to go back I also like how the site's slogan has changed from being " The European LEGO Fans Community" to "Uniting LEGO fans from all over the world" Very fitting

Thanks and great review! The jeep looks like the Indy Brickmaster Promo in regular Green. What interests me most is the green suitcase and radio I however am sad that they made the metal detector in green, as mine now is no longer a special/rare part

Never tread on someones rant *runs off to buy all the Toy Shops from LEGO store which has loads in stock* Not too expensive on BL (yet), you can get one for $81.00 MISB, plus shipping, (ok price but not crazy) This reminds me of the Hoth Base situation in 2007, where everyone went crazy, because we found out that Lucas had a special deal with LEGO to only make a limited amount, yes for once "limited edition" actually meant "limited edition" Hopefully more will become available as I think this was quite fast for a set to be sold out, plus LEGO likes making money, why not make more, to make more money?

Thanks! Which also confirms summer releases! Civilian sets would be nice, as I think the opening 2010 City wave is not amazing. There are some cool ones like the Octan Tanker, Light Repair Truck, Pig Pen and Impulses. EDIT: Also forgot about the TRU Exclusive (Transport, Truck Stop or Town Center) and City Trains (Rumored to be 2 Trains, Station and Level crossing)! So 2010 will be a good year after all

Wow I must have missed this, good job on reviving this thread! Very cool and excellent work! I love Monorails, this one is kind of strange to me , but who cares, it still is very cool! Also nice job eti! Your EN Monorail is also very nice too!
-
Wait all these sets are scheduled for the January Release? Including the Octan Tanker, Pig Pen, and Impulses? And if so, there will be a summer wave with sets he have not heard about yet?
-
Yea I saw this yesterday, Sold Out for USA Also the Cafe Corner and Town Plan are also sold out.
-
Thanks for replying LegoMilk! Err what do you mean? The Train Sets or the new subtheme?
-
A Large Table would be nice, nothing cheap, glass top maybe? That way you have plenty of room to build and spread out sets. Also maybe a desk instead, Office Max usually has some nice ones, Sharper Image ones I like best. Various shelving structures too, for displaying sets. For rare stuff maybe a plexi glass display box? Wal-mart or Target usually has nice units with shelves. Plexiglass boxes are sold online for Hobby stuff. Have fun!

Oh, no official prices then I guess I think the Repair truck will be $12.99 (same as Tow Truck, very similar set) And $19.99 for the Octan Tanker. But you never know, TLG is getting greedy these days As for the new City Subtheme Is this besides the City Trains, Legomilk mentioned? I wonder what it could be, I hope nothing we have seen before, maybe more Farm or something?
-
Do we have prices for the 2010 City Sets? Such as Light Repair Truck and the Octan Tanker?
-
Looking Good! I really like all the baseplates! Its quite annoying how they package them however Which has been the main reason why I haven't bought any. I like how your town follows the current scale and style of CITY.
-
I find most interesting the lime green cap in the first basic set and in the second basic set, is that overall torso different from the current one?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures General Discussion
Piranha replied to Nabii's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Was this discussed already? From Brickset.com That possibly the bags are opaque? I wont be able to pick the ones I want then and possibility of disappointment is high Also what is this that each bag will have different parts and not even a complete fig? This can frustrate people because what if they buy alot of these bags and keep getting the same parts over and over again? If true, thank goodness for Bricklink
