  1. Hmm I can't tell but you might be right at first I thought it was dark blue but now I see it is more dark brown
  2. Thanks for bumping this topic I never read it and it is a cool and very fun read. I think I will start working on a Tunnel, in LDD.
  3. It is possible Jack has a new torso, so possibly 4 new figs.
  4. Great work TLG
  5. Hi I have been a member of Bricklink for 5 years it is a very safe and good site most of the time. Yes your personal info is only shown to those whom you place an order with. Each store is different and usually you can click store policies in store in the tab to see shipping costs and payment options. Usually sellers with the more positive feedback the better but do not be biased against small sellers with less feedback their bricks are just as good.
  6. I think I am finished finally got it down to 299 words The title doesn't count right? (after the bold I counted)
  7. ^^^ Nice
  8. Thanks! A bit small, not really impressed with the ship or figs, no new Elizabeth or Will, but Jack looks like he has a new torso? I couldn't agree more, maybe dark brown or dark grey or something. Also no Kraken. A great chance to make one and TLG missed it.
  9. Time to revive this thread. Mainly because it is general discussion of L-Gauge trains. Well I finished building my BNSF and I must say I am quite impressed with the overall size and detail. The only thing is the can is a bit flimsy I might replace the jumper plate with a 1x6 in orange because I don't peak in there that often. Now the only two things on my mind are PFing it and rolling stock. For PF I am going to mess around alot once I break out my new PF stuff. I will probably go the route of battery box and IR receiver in a box car behind it. For rolling stock I am looking into TTXs and MOCing (as soon as Hinckley gets me the stuff) the Reefer Car from "Getting Started with LEGO Trains". I wish the MOT were cheap as I don't pay double or triple for a parts build, yes Hopper Wagon parts build. On my to do list is also a Train Engine Shed unless TLG gives us a new one, which yes they should by the way. I also picked up a Super Chief (ouch) and not sure when I will find the time to build it. Already planning on getting the cars (double ouch) I need to stock up on PF track aswell. I just wish they would make the "+" track in plastic. Now as for the current sets I would say are great there are currently 4 (soon to be 5) Trains and 2 trackside structure, plus nice track selection at the LEGO store. Enough rambling on though. I need to take some pictures too for fun.
  10. I voted for "High Degree". I have a strong preference to American Locomotives, especially Diesel engines. Others such as the Metroliner (bearing resemble to AMTRAK) I am also drawn to. However I also like European type Trains and Locomotives as well. But not just as much as American.

  13. Wow I wish my LEGO store had crates Nice Haul!
  14. Yes they are, I was actually supposed to have one about 2 years ago but the seller disappeared and never included it in my order . Ever since then I have been on the look out. I paid $10 (USD) for it. It didn't have a description so I emailed the seller and got a response that it had never been used and it was clean and straight. My LEGO prefab tree collection is complete. I hope TLG makes a new mold though.
  15. I didn't see them it was the whole model. But I made a lxf LDD file already.
  16. Patience has rewarded me again, I snatched my first mint cypress tree for a good price
  17. Thanks I will work on improving it But not as original
  18. I have been collecting Trains since 1999. I currently have 5. I continue to look for more.
  19. do you have inventory or instructions for it?
  20. Changed to your suggestion, yes that is what was happening. Now there is only one problem I am at around 400 words, need some thinning out to do. I might have to cut the names of the characters speaking.] EDIT: well I switched from a script to a more normal writing style, now I went back to 400 words, what should I cut to reach the 300 limit?
  21. I was just at TRU yesterday, dirty rip off Plus spend $30 get a free MINI Creator lighthouse.
  22. Thanks guys I am working on the adjustments. this was the very first rough (WIP) version of it. I can't seem to add the "s" in the title even in the full editor? well I made some changes what do you guys think?
  23. Interesting bit: This is very nice
  24. Aye me hearties, Here is my entry for the 2011 Pirates of the Caribbean Contest Entry (Mailing List Division). Now if you salty dogs happen to vote for me and win I would be happy with 4183 The Mill as the prize Title: The Misadventures of Jack Sparrow " Where's all the rum then?" By: Macoco Somewhere in the blackest sea of the LEGO Caribbean: Jack Sparrow, as we always find him, is off floating in his trusty dingy named the Lost Keg. A ship passes by. "Ahoy there!" yelled Jack. "Ahoy there sailor! Need a hand?" replied the Deckhand. "No, I already have two, what I really need is a rope." Jack yelled back. On deck Jack gets greeted by pirates he had never seen before which of course were the classic LEGOLAND Pirates. "Aye mateys why all the grins?" remarked Jack. Redbeard approached and remarked with a fiendish glee. "What brings you across our path this day?" "Well apparently my boat" replied Jack smiling. Redbeard scoffed, not being amused by Jacks wit. "Not a pushover is he?" Jack whispered to the first mate standing by Redbeard. Redbeard slapped Jack. "Ouch! Now watch it there matey all I am interested in is perhaps a bottle of rum, savvy?" said Jack as he winked. "What?" said Redbeard puzzled. "Well it is rounded and has a hole in it and is nice and glossy" Jack said trying to describe the bottle of Rum. "Ah a pagan, eh?" asked Redbeard. Redbeard slapped Jack again. "Throw him into the brig!" said Redbeard. Unfortunately the cook, fed up with the leaks dripping over his food, switched rooms to the brig but forgot to change the sign. Subsequently, Jack was thrown into the kitchen. "Aye there matey where's all the rum then?" asked Jack. The cook was puzzled; Jack glanced at his compass spinning in no direction. "No rum! A Travesty! What is a Pirate theme without rum?" Jack said with a shocked and disgusted face. The cook with his generic classic smiley face replied "You should have been here when there was no Pirate theme, savvy?" Word Count: 296
