Yes I think also that set is hinting at Gator Poaching, the brown 1x2 tiles and money and coins etc. It makes me wonder if the bandits in this new theme will be doing something similar with the brown bear or is it just a forest animal put in for fun?

This sounds cool, there are too many options on the table though. Caveman and Dinosaurs (more realistic [for lack of a better word] version) Caveman and Dinosaurs ( more fantasy version) Exploration (like the JT theme was like) Dino Attack version. but wait a minute the frontpage clearly gives us some major clues. It is Jurassic Park style (maybe a Dino theme park type thing) Each set has a vehicle and cage to catch dinosaurs, yeah it is going to be like Dino attack + exploration

I don't think TLG would name a Battlepack ARC Troopers vs Commando Droids. the front page also disagrees there will be an ARF trooper.

Hehe, that is what I was also thinking of when I saw the set list! That is actually a really good set and had an interesting concept. The 4x4 in that set is great. Also reminds me of the Outback theme, which they should also bring back. and great sets, hope we see something similar.

Well I hope they give us a new train engine shed next and a new Super Chief set with two passenger cars. For the next AFOL model.

I was talking to TLG Customer service the other day about a replacement for a train (7939) and they asked me if I liked trains and which ones I had, then suggested the Maersk Train. Followed up by saying it will be super collectible one day. Usually with sets it is one and done.

If they do give them Phase 2 helmets, does that also mean Gree would have the same?

Yeah I have to agree I prefer Humans vs Humans. If they go back to fantasy I would quit buying Castle and spend it on other themes until Humans vs Humans came back.

What is the drastic change? The BPs? They do conflicts in almost all other themes including City Police w/criminals. It is actually a smart move. The MINI planets? I don't think that is crazy. and yes LEGO is actually extremely unoriginal, you obviously never bought City sets, the last five Street Sweepers were all called Street Sweepers. and what else are they going to name the X-Wing and Y-Wing? lol I am very happy about the CW BP, I have been waiting for Commando Droids since the "Rookies" Episode in Season 1. I also wonder what the ARC will look like, hopefully blue or standard red markings. Also I hope they do not just give him ARC gear on a plain clone and call it an ARC. For the ARF Trooper, I wonder if they give it new markings or print?

Yes it is a "special" part. I have owned many like red pistol, green air tanks etc. There are generally two sources for such parts. 1. Factory Test Molds 2. Distributed at special LUG events Factory tests are red or trans clear to show errors more easily.

Thanks for the news !!! Although yes Fire and Police again I really don't mind as the sets are different and sound good. New Brown bear!!! That is great! Of other interest is the set with a small gold mine (new POTC gold in chrome I hope) As well as the Cabin set Easily converted for civilian use. Can't wait to see how they do the 4WD and Jeep vehicles haven't had any in along time and they are among my favorite vehicles. Also how do you know the trees are burning/flames or printing? are any a new cypress tree mold? Now for the other sets, most intrigued by the Camper Trailer and 4x4 w/motorcycle as well looking forward to a new Garbage Truck. Because the last one was actually called a "Recycle Truck" . As long as it has a different logo/color scheme I will get it, I have the orange recycle truck from 2007.

I find it highly likely that TLG would charge $40 for a Jedi Interceptor in the same style/scale as the old ones. I estimate this set to have about 200-250 parts. Or less. The ETA-2 if well done would take up probably 175-225 parts. The rest of the 50 or so parts or less could be used for the platform or other bit. I count the droids as figs and TLG does too , 6 figs is alot plus add the SE badge and yup I can see $40 easily. Now one thing worries me is it the TRU or Target exclusives, I hope it is the Target because TRU has ridiculous above MSRP prices I expect probably $50 or more. Thanks I believed you the whole time btw. Now to the sets, you did hint at alot of "Ceremonial MOC's" a while back in this thread, I suspected but brushed it off. The Y-Wing sounds great! Just baffled at the price range for X-Wing, Y-Wing and TIE as they all seem as $50+ sets A new droid escape!! I had the original and loved it! will be getting this one for sure, don't mind about no dewback I got an old one. Now for the new concept, I thought for a minute the planets could be used in a planet display in the Jedi Temple in the scene in AOTC but 8-10 studs is way too big. But they do have other uses, I will probably pass at $10 each.
