  1. Congrats to all the winners! There was many great entries in this contest. Fantastic job by everyone all around.
  2. Animal packs I think would be a great and popular seller. A Pirate one would be most welcome. There are some interesting new animal possibilities, I like the whale and seagull additions. How about a Kraken/Giant Squid? Or would that be too big? I would imagine something in similar size to a smaller species of whale?
  3. Nice review Oky! It is a very fitting review for the 4th RA Anniversary, and also in conjunction with the 80th of TLG. I mean everyone loves free cake right? Right?
  4. Great review Doc. I would say this is a worthy successor to MMV. It has a nice detailed construction and some great new figs, especially that new Black Falcon Knight. Let's hope this isn't the last true Kingdoms set, and TLG returns to making them again, as Kingdoms was a brilliant line. Overall I would give this set a 5/5.
  5. Happy 4th RA Anniversary everyone! Um, yeah.
  6. I voted for the "Actor" as my favorite fig from S8, closely followed by the Vintage Diver and Conquistador. I primarily will select Historic figs first, followed by others. I still think Series 4 is my favorite series to date, then I would also add Series 2, 1 and 7. I would like LEGO to keep making new minifig designs and continue this theme for many years to come. It gives us great opportunities for figs that otherwise might not have been made.
  7. Congrats to the winners! This was a fantastic contest overall with a ton of well designed entries.
  8. Welcome back!
  9. Ooh, that would be nice. It could be done two ways potentially. A minifig colored completely nougat to represent the terracotta statue(s) or a minifig depicting an ancient Chinese warrior. Either one would be nice. Any new ancient warrior would be welcomed.
  10. Nice work, the Donkey, Zebra and Giraffe family's are fine additions.
  11. Interesting, I wonder if it turns out to be Yoda's Hut, if they will reuse the non CW fig or make a new one altogether. I can see that set working pretty well, with some random swampy trees and creatures.
  12. Whatever it is, I am leaning toward it being a new historical theme and not an action theme. It would be very logical, with LOTR being the Castle type theme currently and no new Kingdoms news. A new original historical theme that is not designed around Castle I think would be emmensely popular that many have been wanting for years. The last original historic theme that wasn't Castle (which I guess includes Ninja) or Pirates, I believe was Western. So some diversity would be highly appreciated.
  13. I am hoping it is a translation error too, and it is actually a new historical China theme.
  14. Absolutely spectacular.
  15. Great MOC. I enjoy the different details in the structure and overall appearance.
  16. I was just thinking of this picture too while I was reading this. That is an excellent group shot of my favorites as well. With S8 coming soon I would add the Conquistador, and maybe Shakespeare for those new useful parts.
  17. Thanks for the review. This is a good way to get Thor. I need to get down to TRU and see if they have any left.
  18. Great job on all these figs. I like your Avengers the best I think. I might have to borrow some of your purist designs.

  22. An amazing accomplishment, that is quite a bit of track. I would like to see a Monorail version of this.
  23. Awesome MOC. I love all the details and the color scheme you used. The fire hydrant is a clever mini build. I think I like the terrace feature the best, nice use of the new brick mold.
  24. Congrats to the winners! It was great fun and everyone did a good job on their entry. And those flower tags are great.
  25. I like the Shakespeare inspired fig, closely followed by the Diver and Conquistador. I would say my favorite series to date would be Series 4. I am not tired of collecting these unique figs, nor do I expect to be anytime soon.
