  1. Not sure if this has been posted here, but this is the casting call that Lucasfilm has confirmed to be real for Episode 7. http://www.bleedingcool.com/2013/06/19/scoop-star-wars-episode-seven-character-details/ I have a feeling that the main characters will be Jaina and Jacen, and somewhere I saw somebody suggest Chloe Moretz from Kick-megablocks and Hugo to play one of the main girls. When I take some time and think about it, she could be a really good Jaina.
  2. Stuff like that will likely never happen again for Star Wars. Main characters or rare, popular figs will now always be in more expensive sets. Even now, the Battle Packs are $15. The days of $10 Star Wars sets with named characters are long gone.
  3. That one makes a bit of sense, since the set is based around the Battle of Yavin, and she was at the ceremony after it. I've never been really bothered by the random figs in sets thing. If it means we get a new fig that we likely wouldn't get otherwise, I'm happy.
  4. They did do the Tusken set back in 2002, so I wouldn't put it past LEGO to make it, and with Shmi. I mean, they made a burnt Anakin in Palpatine's Shuttle, and Gunray was in the recent Interceptor set only because he got killed on Mustafar.
  5. This isn't really a question that has an answer, but I was wondering how many people think the CW Geonosian figs can double as non-CW versions, or if we'll possibly see new ones in the spring to accompany the new Poggle fig?
  6. I really doubt we'll see any more CW sets at all. We only got one this summer. And there is so much more that is happening in the world of Star Wars these days that LEGO can't be spending too much time on sets based on an essentially finished show. They are likely starting to direct their efforts towards the Yoda Chronicles, the PT re-releases, which, while not happening, probably had plenty of sets already in the works. Plus there is the new Rebels series, which will likely take up a bunch of next year's sets. And then when Episode 7 hits, it will take priority over all other sets, or at least it should. CW may get one or two more sets if we're lucky, but I have a feeling that our days of googly eyed cartoon figs are done.
  7. So LEGO has the sneak peek site for the movie. It has the trailer, a countdown to the movie, and a countdown to Comic-Con. Perhaps they'll reveal sets based on the movie at Comic-Con? http://www.lego.com/en-us/movie?icmp=COUSFR35TheLEGOMovie
  8. Well, there's a chance something could be revealed at Comic-Con, but if not, I'd say September makes sense.
  9. I like all your ideas, legofreak86. The only thing I'd change is in the Wheelbike set, have San Hill and Wat Tambor rather than the Clones.
  10. My idea is a set roughly the same size as the Ewok Village, with a closed back so it is a full building. There could be three floors, all accessible by removing the roof, top floor, and second floor. There could also be hinges on one side of the building to allow for it to be opened like a dollhouse. Top floor: Council Chambers Second floor: Youngling training room, Meditation room, and Archives, with a gold bust of Dooku. Main floor: Entrance area, two or three smaller rooms. Figs: Yoda, ROTS Anakin, 501st Troopers x4, two Younglings (one male, one female), Cin Drallig, Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, Jocasta Nu, ROTS Obi-Wan, Yarael Poof, Oppo Rancisis, perhaps Yaddle, Mace Windu.
  11. I bet if they do, it will be AOTC related, perhaps Jango.
  12. North Lego Star, I like your list, but I think it has too much CW in it. I truly believe that LEGO will stop making CW sets, and by next summer, we'll see lots of Rebels, a mix of PT and OT, and some Yoda Chronicles. And then 2015 will be all Episode 7 sets, with perhaps a Jedi Temple exclusive to commemorate the 10th anniversary of ROTS.
  13. I know I'd be willing to pay $10-$20 CAD each for Luke and Leia
  14. Throw Luminara Unduli into one of the Kashyyyk sets. And I would love the Cloud Car.
  15. I don't think LEGO should focus on named characters outside the trailers until they have made the main named ones. And if LEGO ever made a Jedi Temple (which I think could only be realistic as a large exclusive), it would be based on the PT, with a mish mash of scenes from all three movies. I could see them making it a large, open back building, similar to Orthanc. The roof could come off to reveal full access to the top floor, the Council Chamber. Then the floors bellow vary in size, and some could have more than one room. There could be the room where Yoda was teaching the younglings, the archive library with some brass busts, perhaps the hangar where Anakin leaves from to go to Palpatine's office. Plus, a set like that would be the best place for LEGO to give us some Jedi who have only had the CW treatment.
  16. Grabbed Darth Malgus off ebay. I've wanted the fig since it was released, but could never justify buying a $120 set for one fig.
  17. It seems that, over the course of three Old Republic sets, LEGO has covered four of the major characters from the trailers for the game: Darth Malgus, Satele Shan, Jace Malcolm and Kao Cen Darach (the Jedi Knight from the Defender Cruiser). That leaves Darth Vindican (Malgus's master) and the smuggler. LEGO should make the smuggler's ship as a set, roughly the same size as the Defender, with Vindican, the smuggler, and two red Republic Troopers with new helmets, and maybe a brick built Sith droid thing from that scene and the scene on Alderran. I would just love to get Vindican as a fig, as I think he was one of the best, most underrated parts of those trailers.
  18. I really love the new printed legs. They make the Jedi figs feel more finished. I swapped Qui-Gon's brown legs for dark tan legs because that colour matches his trouser colour better, and it tends to be LEGO's style to base a Jedi's legs on their trouser colour. I just wish that Jedi like Seasee Tiin, Agen Kolar, Barriss Offee, and Sith like Maul and Sidious had leg printing.
  19. I have always felt that Maul had really cool eyes, and that didn't translate in the non-CW fig, but they got it perfect with the CW version. Look at the real Darth Maul: http://www.badhaven.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/631e4201-abd1-e9fdv7ot8suga0jpg.jpg Then look at the new Maul fig: http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130430173906/lego/images/2/26/Kyborgmauldwatch.jpg The eyes have more space and therefore have that extra bit of detail (mainly the white and red parts of his eyes).
  20. Does anyone else think that the new CW Maul head looks WAY better than the non-CW version? I feel like Maul is the only character who has improved from the CW treatment. I definitely plan on using the new head on the 2011 TPM version.
  21. Amazing! Thank you so much!
  22. Yeah. I feel like Palpatine's Arrest and Anakin's Jedi Interceptor are two or the three major scenes that need to be made, the third being the fight with Grievous and a new Wheelbike. That way LEGO could focus on some more tertiary characters, such as Ki-Adi and Luminara, in sets based on Mygeeto and Kashyyk. A new Catamaran would be really great.
  23. No, the Defender Cruiser is an exclusive, and we have yet to find out what store it will be exclusive to. I barely have the budget to buy any of these sets, and will likely look to buy all the new figs somewhere.
  24. Yeah, the Defender Crusiser. It really is a great set, definitely one ofmy favourites this year.
