    Well finally I have finished it and tested the working of it. The reviews were right about the jerky movement, but it works and I have a great deal of satisfaction from it. Thanks TLG for a good flagship

    image too big I used 12 of those In front of tractor for the wheels, the fit was abit loose there will be a better solution.

    My Emmett minifig keyring comes to the pub with me good job he does not drink. He would cost me a fortune.

    Holy smoke, that is serious lego building and awesome. You deserve some sort of lego medal for the design. How many pieces is it and and any instructions?

    I'm thinking about that build too just need to get a couple of parts though some colours will be different

    Hmm so all TLG are really doing is putting out special bricks in these sets, I was expecting something a bit more special for 40 years. Guess we will have to wait for second half list then :(

    Lucky I have enough for the moment just get parts from BrickLink and the brick wall in the local lego store as I need them.

    I love the 42042 and own 2 of them, the second will be RC. When that is built might do something daft with the first set, who knows?

    I hope this works ok, the piece at the front is what I used to connect the wheels together. Somebody may come up with a better solution It works for me cool

    I got 2 sets to do the double wheeled version

    Completed the class tractor but missed the 2nd clutch gear so it's a rebuild but pleased with it all the same

    Different shades of lime green in the beams, looks like TLG has problems with colour consistency
