  1. @ Alasdair Ryan: Thanks, I found that part now! I'm using a Mac, but MLCad doesn't run on MacOS. Bricksmith is an alternative I think? Is LPub running on Mac then? @DLuders: Thank you, any idea if the tracks from the shooterbot are available in LDD?
  2. Hi, I'm currently building a new robot and it has the same trackdesign and connectionpoint as the Shooterbot from the NXT 2.0, but I'm not capable of connecting those 2 parts together. Also, I can't find the 1x4 gear rack. Can anyone tell me where I can find this one? I have uploaded the LDD file I'm working on. See link below. Thanks in advance. Tracks.lxf
  3. Sump Truck = Simple Dump Truck? Thought that first.. Nice model! I'm using an almost same technique in one of my robots which can grab and raise with only one motor.
  4. It can't walk. The problem is that he can't keep it balanced. Still an awesome model I think.
  5. Personally I think het is a Mechanical Engineer.. Regarding the stuff he build..
  6. Very cool project! Thanks! If you're allowed to post more details, I'll ve glad to read those articles!!
  7. If I understand it correctly, Pycam provides the code and dimensions for the 3D model. Then in RobotC you flip those to a .txt file. The rest of your program in RobotC is based on the .txt file?
  8. I get it.. Did you also make an interface where you can select your 3D image? I was writing it in Java (LeJOS) I also think that your drawings can be made with a higher resolution. Slow down the process? Calculate more point in your traject? Wouldn't this be a solution?
  9. I wanted to use PID to make the movement smooth. So I wrote a program that calculates the dimentions,... in coordinates.. I was stuck right here already.. This didn't work..:( Btw: what kind of robot arm did you use?
  10. Reminds me of a project I started a few months ago with.. It was cancelled due to the software.. Good job! Maybe I should rebuild it, though..
  11. Don't think so.. Only difference is the US sensor IMO..
  12. Not much more info about the retail set.. http://www.thenxtstep.blogspot.be/2013/01/education-ev3-so-cool.html?m=1
  13. Another one from CES: http://on.aol.com/video/lego-mindstorms-ev3--next-generation-of-robotic-programming-517632277
  14. It has a batterypack, just like the nxt.. But it doesn't come with the retail set I guess.
  15. Well, the NXT2.0 was very hard to combine with basic white.. So, maybe when the EV3 is in basic white, we will see al lot more White mindstorms creations..
  16. I guess StarWars white combined with Light Bluish Gray, Red and Black.
  17. Retail: 1 Touch sensor 1 IR Seeker 1 IR Beacon 1 Color Sensor
  18. An Accelerometer would make more sence regarding the pictures of the education sets (segway)
