  1. He means the topic is in the wrong forum. It ought to be in the Buy, Sell, Trades and Finds Forum. It's not that great, at least not for what they're asking.... The decals are good, but the building could use some more work.
  2. There is NO way I'd pay $79.99 for the shuttle! It's Wiki... so It's most likely wrong. Most of these look to have a 5-10 dollar difference, but the shuttle and the tank seem to be $20 dollars over.
  3. Exactly why I got it. Erm... no. It's the control seat for the turret, and it pops up so that you can open and close the hatch. Besides, the pilot has a different seat.
  4. Uh, guys, It's been this way for a while, and that Canadian company is Megabloks. I know it's legal to copy LEGO, but it's called common decency... Cashing in on what someone else invented.
  5. Fli... flik.. BOO! As in the main guns on the side? Argh.... If we get a STAP, don't worry- It won't be so hard to take out the STAP and mod an interior.
  6. Oh yeah... cool. The AAT also has the new Pirate spyglass in the piston thingy in the back... They're showing up everywhere, aren't they?
  7. I meant that I loved the old one, but I was making fun of your good example (the old AT-AT) by showing you a newer, bad example (the new AT-AT). What? You didn't get the meaning of "Oh? Oh really?"
  8. Whatwhatwhat? The ship is $99.99?! It only has 592 pieces! Anyway... The est of the sets are beautifully priced, though. Can't wait...
  9. Oh? Oh really?
  10. Except that only three are up there. Am I missing something? Three episodes, a bunch of previews, dataclips, and TV spots.
  11. Just saw this on Flickr. For some reason I find it so oddly cool...

    The H-Wing

Now that's a cool ship. Very well built. I like the sensor array and that it has a storage compartment. I'm not so sure about the HRJ hyperdrive, though:
  13. Technically, CNN projected it, right? But you're right, he will be. EB usually stays out of religion and politics, though. Admins? What do you think?
  14. Thanks guys! I was really happy with the pic quality (other than some blurriness) and I'm glad you liked the review. After I reread it, though, I wish I hadn't have posted it so late at night. We need a poll? Good idea, though. More pics (including of the bottom are here: Flickr I thought it was a bit big. My flicky missiles were very loose, while in other sets they fit fine... ah well. They can be kept well out of sight, luckily. Did you check the end shelves? This wasn't with the main selection, but in the back, and I was really lucky to spot it.
  15. Very cool! Mini-fig scale Transformers are always great! Don't worry, I think it applies to a lot of us here.
  16. Hello, and welcome to my first review in a while. I was browsing around at Target last week, debating to buy something with B-day money, and I looked around the corner of the Lego aisle, and- egad! The RFT! Along with the rest of the Target exclusives (Agents sub, Coast Guard ocean station, and yellow Jetrax)! I bought the RFT (Fifty bucks... but a higher piece count than the others, and still 100 more than the V-19, which is five dollars more ), and scampered home with it. I also recieved Photoshop CS-4 for my birthday, so I was excited to try it out. Here are the results, along with something else I've never done before: a blue denim(?) background! The front of the box: Tank, another random desert background, Clone Wars box theme, ya ya ya... Very descriptive pics on the back. Onto the good stuff. The manual was all bent, so I had to use a TV remote to weigh it down: The sticker sheet was smaller than I expected. Notice something? We'll come to that in a second. The two clones. Could've come with three, but I'm happy. There's the standard dark-bley accessory set, along with two small blaster rifles. One of my clone's helmet's faceplates had a small printing error. On to the parts! No new parts, some grills, cheez slopes, etc., but what really caught my eye were these! Printed pieces! Yay! Two white control panels (I forgot one in the pic), one grey control panel, two Republic insignias, and three grey vent-things. The beginning of the tank: You see the "engine", the beginning of a cockpit (white chair! See?) and the undercarriage, which you kind-of-can't-really see in this pic. More of the beginning interior. The two control panels, chair...Cool, eh? Pretty spacious? Wrong. You'll see why because of... ...because of this thing. This takes up most of the cockpit. Fairly clever device, you push down on it, and it latches onto the hatch (more on that later), and then when you open the hatch it pops up. Still, big. In the way of my precious cockpit. And here we finish the first part of our tank in the instructions, to move onto the sleds: (More pics can be found at Flickr) We move onto the sleds (or whatever they are...repulsorlifts?). Pretty neat. They have hidey-holes for the blasters, and chunk flips up to reveal three flick-fire missiles. My only gripe with these is that they're loose... ... After building the other sled, and building the side guns, you end up with this, the final product: I also removed the big chair mechanism, leaving a spacious cabin: Which is, unfortunetly, a brick too short for someone to stand up in. Final thoughts: A wonderful set. Printed pieces were nice, a good cockpit, and good general build. Very accurate. There were enough figs (Though, like always, I want more!) and easily MODable for you wackos who don't like my wonderful review ( ). Price: 8/10. It seems expensive for me, but it does have 592 pieces, which is actually very good compared to other $50 sets. The $54.99 V-19 is only 471 pieces! Gah! TLC! WTF? Parts: 10/10. Good parts, not too much of one thing, and some really good printed pieces. Minifigs: 8/10: Any clone gets a good rating from me. An 8 because of a small printing error. Final: Why am I scoring this? No downsides. Get it! So that concludes the written review. If you want more pictures of the underside, the build, and other general pics, again, go to the Flickr page. For you Photoshop-savvy people, how did I do? Anything I could do better to edit?
  17. Just got my Republic Fighter Tank at Target, in Bend, Oregon. Beware- They're on the end shelves along with the other exclusives.
  18. Is it just me, or does the decked- out clone on the right in the Battle Pack have black pistols? I thought it might be the light, but then I checked the bottom-left pic of him and the gunner... and he still looks like he has black pistols. If they have pearl lightsabers, anything's possible, right?
  19. "Like hell you did." YES! More clones, less Jedi, please. Is it just me, or does Rex's mini-kama look rediculous?
  20. Remember, though: do we really expect TLC to dish out for new heads, torsos, and colors? You have a point about the jetpacks, though. Droids against the ARC trooper gunship? Scrap metal.
  21. Well... I just hope I don't run into any elephant-grade road apples. Hear, hear! It's not official yet. It's just printer paper and glue stick. I need to find wet-slide decal paper. I dunno, though, I think I like the Arctic face... nobody's using it. I think. Bob?!
  22. Thanks a lot, guys! Sadly, not very much o' the good stuff, only Jetpack Persuit and the Magnaguard starfighter (along with other...stuff) But I did get the new version of Photoshop, I think it's called CS4...?
  23. I feel so special. I never noticed the clone gunner off to the left there... excellent.
  24. Uh oh. Glad you liked it. I thought the picture-taking and text-inserting went fairly well, but the automatic resize... Oh well. Enjoy the cake anyway. The next one's chocolate. I almost used a flare as a candle, but that would've been too mean.
  25. But a post about it is worse... It's not that bad. Just not L33t spk. Anyway, I really hope we get those pearly lightsabers! (Those are pearly, right? ) I thought the old silver ones were a bit too shiny, but the newer ones... eugh.
