How did you like the Clone Wars TV series?

Definately prefab. The CW design really shrinks the size of those Trade Federation dropships, but they can carry a lot. -
To those Classic Space people who aren't so happy: If you don't like these, just go back to your collection. These don't diminish from the beauty of the old theme, so if you don't like these, just don't get them, or bide your time- We still have lots of pics to come, and there may be another Space theme next year. And maybe even the year after that. And come on-TLC is always privy to our concerns and opinions on new themes, and the reason they made this one is because they knew we wanted one so much. So TLC might take a look here, correct what we don't like, and maybe next year could be just what you've been dreaming for. On a more set-related note, I love these little impulse things. The K-9 is very impressive, minus the flicky-fire. The figs are wonderful. I can't wait to see more.

You could link to it. We're not that tight. I like the idea of new jetpacks. This just calls to me to make a real jet trooper and make a Battlefront scene.

To be honest, I don't care. I have around 20 of the things in my minifig bin, since I replaced them with simple solid black heads like in Stormtroopers and Ep. III troops. I think they look better.

That's why it's a solar sailer. Something about solar winds. Don't question it, it's Star Wars.

I just saw Defenders of Peace. I swear, the episodes just keep getting better and better. My only, and I mean ONLY, gripe with the episode was how they dodged the searchlights, and still used their lightsabers. The 'secret weapon' turned out much better than I expected, too- I thought it was just a really big gum mounted on a normal AAT, but no- some thing that destroys everything living, vs. pacifists. Very good way to show the Jedi's stance in the war. I liked how Anakin basically said, "Screw you, we're saving you even if you don't want to." The next episode, Trespass, looks marvelous as well! I'm undecided about the clone's winter gear, I think it should have been more like the Galactic Marines' in Ep. III: -
That's too bad. I can understand the frustration with the model and guests, working at a museum myself. I hate to be a jerk to the kids, but they must understand that they can't drive the wagon or swim with the turtles in the pond. Sniff.

Well, it's really amazing that they remade it, so we call it 'new' since they're rediculously pricey on BL.
-
Yay! The new lightsaber is chrome. That's awesome.
-
I miss the bubble turrets. In episode II the gunships were awesome, but now they don't seem capable of doing much other than ferrying troops.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Clone Wars version. New characters, all new levels.... why not? Throw in some of the beautiful levels of Lego Batman, only CW.

Water? Wet? No problem.

What's with the fat Nemoidian? Luk Durd? I know Filoni mentioned that he 'wanted diversity in the species', like with the Trandoshan in Downfall of a Droid, but does this always mean that by 'diversity', they mean very fat? -
I picked odd choices. I decided that we need to go slow and safe, yet that we couldn't waste time by getting other people. Anyway, nice gate. I'm unsure about some of the random mutants, but your brickbuilt things are always great.

I'd like to see an episode just about Obi-Wan. Another episode of just clones, on the front line or some mission, would also be welcome.
-
Nice! I like the chair/couch/watchamacalit. Eh? From what I see there's plenty of MOC.
-
Prelim pic guys, don't worry about it. Don't start worrying about these details until we see full cover art (the 'cover art' we have seen is too small to tell). Worry about the general shape of the ships- those never change much.
-
Nice! It's really accurate, albeit the turret is a little bit, but it's so clever that that doesn't matter. Brilliance.

Unfortunetely I missed the first part. Oh well. It was good episode, though. The old lemur-man got annoying. I can't wait until the battle droids come and show him that peaceful solutions don't exist against machines... -
Yeah. Sounds like someone really slipped up and put this up. Hurray for mistakes!

It'd still be here for a long, long time. Sure, the 'new sets' topic would see a sudden lack of interest, but we'd still be worshipping our favorite toy. Just because lego no longer makes Classic Space, that doesn't stop some people from obsessing about it.

1) Yes. And they're not 'robot stupid', either. They're complete morons. It's one thing having them just be slow, but village idiots? 2)Plenty die, actually. Look at Rookies, Duel of the Droids, and the pilots in Gungan General. Plus, they're combat trained. It's what they do- it's quality vs. quantity with droids, and if clones were dying left, right, and center, there wouldn't be any clone armor any more. I personally like it that all the clones are getting cooler, because it's what they do for a living. They better WELL be good at killing things and staying alive. 3) I'd like skinnier ones. The ones they give us are just fat. 4) They win plenty, but not in battles with the main characters. The Malevolence destroying fleets did well until Anakin had to win.

It's only 4 discs, too. I really don't want to know what the 'multi-disc' version costs. -
That looks AWESOME. It looks much more story-driven than the last two. Still hope we can have generic battles...

C'mon, the RGS and TX-130 were great. Just the heads....*shudder*
