  1. A price hike would pretty much end me grabbing more than a handful of figures a series. $4 feels pretty high as it is.
  2. The CMF skeleton costume and devil costume kids had different pumpkin pail prints, and I could see LEGO doing something similar for the mandrake.
  3. Aw, I had hoped for a double regular series year, but another HP series isn't terrible.
  4. Cheetah and Bumblebee kind of salvage the series for me, though it'll be nice to save some cash on a CMF wave for once. Really interested to see where the Keaton Batman shows up.
  5. Criminally wasted in the BaM bins. Probably Bricklink them down the road.
  6. I really like Discordia and Uncle Sam.The kunoichi is pretty cool, and that flamingo would be a great bit of reuse. The moll looks much more like a modern Halloween costume than an actual female criminal of the period would have. Then again, it is more effective at conveying the archetype than Tina Goldstein's cloche hat/hair combo + Queenie Goldstein-style body print + gun accessory = something vaguely accurate.
  7. It's a pretty cool figure in its own right, and it could be popular with people familiar with the character, but not necessarily LEGO enthusiasts. It'll be more interesting to see what the price does when S.19 is long gone from retail. Percival Graves and Classic Police Officer are still pretty healthy on the secondary market.
  8. Didn't LEGO say that steampunk really doesn't test well with kids? Not that would necessarily matter with a one-off figure in a CMF series. Ninjago did have that wave with the steampunk/dieselpunk/Mad Max hybrid main baddie last summer, though..
  9. I remember the Imaginext figure. I just chalk the lack of a LEGO version up to there being so many archetypes they want to do for the first time, plus the the number of archetypes they can reintroduce through a gender swap being so vast. That Playmobil one hits pretty much all the bullet points I'd want to see on a LEGO aviatrix. *approving nod*
  10. Leonardo da Bricki? Brickelangelo? Good suggestion!
  11. I expect an acknowledgment of the 10th anniversary of the line in some fashion, but beyond that? Some gimmick is probably a given, though I won't go as far as to say it'll be terrible like Mr. Gold. Not sure about a rehash wave, though it could be decent if they go all-in on prints (both design AND quality) and new pieces. I wouldn't mind the theme of "Minifigures From Around the World", but I would be equally happy with just 16 minifigures running the gamut of themes.
  12. At the very least we don't have to wait a year for a regular series!
  13. Complaining to LEGO will probably get you a replacement blind bag, but that's about it.
  14. Thanks for the review, WF! I ended up with saying "deuces" to the Firewoman and Bounty Hunter, but maybe I'll revisit them for parts down the road. The Fright Knight is great in person, though I wish they had used different molds for the sword and helmet. I hate the flier change, too. It's pretty thin/cheap paper, so I'd guess it is more biodegradable, even with the increased sheet size.
  15. Hell, I'm not sure I'd even be mad with an error that big. Worst case, you just need to find yourself an error collector.
  16. Found them today, but only grabbed Mummy Queen. The print on the mummy face seems a bit fuzzy, but my eyes aren't what they used to be. I'm excited to grab the rest!
  17. That would be a killer series. I'm a little surprised that a costumed figure isn't included, but more so that space didn't! I think I see at least one of Digger of Bricks' picks.
  18. Most don't, but some do. It's a soft deal, and not really accurately depicted by the old aviator helmet LEGO likes to use.
  19. If that holds true, then the Fox Suit Girl should have a an inner pouch, too.
  20. The Brothes-Brick feel guide had their Crayon Suits and Kitty Pops coming with inner bags, which I now seem to recall my Kitty Pop doing as well. I guess we'll see next week, though I suspect the figures with cloth pieces WILL be in bags.
  21. I do seem to recall there was some randomness reported. I do believe the figures with fabric had them, though, then an odd one like the Cowardly Lion.
  22. Monkey King, Shower Guy and the Mountain Biker is what I've heard.
  23. I don't particularly like them, but they speed up the process when sussing out who is in the bag. I have more beef with the cheap, thin paper the inserts are now printed on.
