Unless it's a period/regionally-unique figure (the bobby, sheriff, etc.) there really is no need for there to be another LEO figure in the CMF line ever again. Most of the modern minifigures could be slipped in a people pack, like you said, or in sets like City Square or Capital City, which could contain a shop build aimed towards said figures. The Retiree I'd save for a one-off Paradisa throwback set (c'mon, LEGO, with lots of white, bright pink and light aqua. Just one, please?)

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
K_Tiger replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
As someone who acquired most of their Nexo Villains through B&P, there were quite a few pieces that had to be called in. -
You just had to show me a product that makes me curse the world for it not actually existing, didn't you?

An all-encompassing Nintendo line would be a thing of beauty. Anime IPs are equally as tantalizing, granted they can figure out how to do the facial prints.

It's almost too ambitious for LEGO, sadly. Dang budget limits!

Oh, that Metropolis homage, and the Matching-Costume Dad is a brilliant idea. Another great set of figures!

Question in regards to the scoring: Do we need to specify gender where it might be ambiguous, or would something like "Shepherd/Shepherdess" count either way? -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

oogaloo Yeah, we'd be up to S.3, but now that you've mentioned Electric Boogaloo, I wish they'd make a breakdancer CMF. -
I think the turtle piece in the Friends line is meant to depict a sea turtle?

They should really pull out the buffalo headdress they did for Red Knee in the The Lone Ranger line and give us a medicine man. Maybe even cast it in white or tan? Yes to all that other stuff you mentioned as well. S.11's Island Warrior is due a female counterpart, and there are two pirate captains, if you count S.14's zombie pirate captain. I was going some of the older set pamphlets (pre-S.14), and there did, at least seemingly, appear to be a better mix of themes. A lot of series skewed towards City-compatible figures, but even those figures usually seemed to favor the more niche city uses rather than the mundane. One point I definitely agree with Itaria on is that these occasional City-heavy series wouldn't be such a drag if there were more than just one regular CMF series released in a year. Winter series a bust on space figures? No problem, tough it out four months and try again in the spring, and if THAT didn't work out (which rarely happened) there was always the fall series. These last couple of years that hasn't worked out, as between themed and licensed series we haven't had a regular numbered series since spring 2017. All I'm saying is I get where some of y'all are coming from. Maybe the 10th anniversary series will manage to be all things to everyone?

WIP list. Ventriloquist (Arnold Wesker, Peyton Riley, Shauna Belzer. I'm not picky.) Black Mask Zantanna Phantasm Live Wire Pussycat (Batman '66) Louie the Lilac (Batman '66) Cheetah (Alex Ross Justice version, with the stitched cheetah pelt.) Catwoman (Batman Returns and Jim Balent versions, in that order of preference.) Wonder Woman (Golden Age, the more 1940s the better and Lynda Carter versions. Preference to GA.) Green Lantern (Alan Scott Kingdom Come version, yes, LEGO, you have to make a new zweihander accessory.) Rorschach Silk Spectre (Sally Jupiter version) Pretty unrealistic, but I'm doing it for the laughs. We all know this series is going to be halfway comprised of safe variants of already existing LEGO DC characters.

2020 Creator Sets - Rumours & Discussion
K_Tiger replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Fire Dragon could be cool. The niece will probably dig that one. The piece count on the Propeller Plane doesn't seem to indicate minifigure compatibility, at least at first blush. Rocket Truck sounds like something along the lines of 2018's Rocket Rally Car. Can't wait for pics. -
Truth. Not sure. The seller was US-based, but how he got them? As for the CMF release schedule, they drop them every four months, so September is just where the third series falls. I guess the spring series gets the summer time pocket money/impulse purchases. I could see a parent doing back-to-school shopping in August grabbing the kiddo some new CMFs to get them to stop grousing, though. CMFs are my main LEGO jam, so I'd buy a new series every three months, lol. On the topic of earlier series, my one Walmart sure has A LOT of TLM2 and Disney S.2 to clear out.

Brother From Another Brick's review of the knight is up. The big takeaways are that head is NOT trans-light blue, and that he comes with two swords as well as two plumes. Doesn't change my mind either way, but it does make me wish that the Bat Lord helmet came something other than black or dark grey.

For real. It's got Alice, (Roll over) Beethoven and a candy can suit. Plus, I don't think you've done a series yet that I wouldn't buy at least half of.

Latest CMF series impact on Historic themes

I was thinking of any appropriate head and Overwatch Hanzo's hair piece would give you something straight out of Three Kingdoms period China.
