Yeah, it is. Guessing it got the short straw budget-wise. I'm just not a fan of the shades they chose, and it might look better in in vibrant/more traditional colors. I admit the color of the photo is probably a bit off, though.

In the design department he's usually at least as good as the LEGO designs. I grant you that's probably a subjective metric for comparison, as personal tastes are personal tastes. I imagine if someone were to take his 2D drawings and give them the weight of LEGO's 3D renderings. Call me a fanboy, but I'll never be convinced that Robert8 doesn't have an eye for design every bit as good as anyone working on the CMF team.

It's okay, you don't have to spare LEGO's designers' feelings by doing their ideas better.

That's what I was angling at. Without getting into the books' excised characters, you've got a smaller pool of to draw both set and CMF figures. Sure, it's easy enough to do (multiple) casual and uniform variants of characters with more than half-a-second of screen time(Lavender Brown using a recolored Dorthy hair piece, please!), and I'd be shocked if another CMF series came and there wasn't at least one of the Patil sisters in Yule Ball gown (Dress robes? Whatever.) I dunno, thinking harder, and with a fresh viewing of the series under my belt, maybe I could plot out a list divided between sets and a CMF wave. Disney would be a whole lot easier, though....

Fantastic Beasts 3 got kicked until after 2020, didn't it? I've got to think hard about HP characters I still want in figure form that wouldn't already be allocated to sets. I suspect Harry , Hermione and Ron would show up in some form, naturally. "Meh" on the first 2, I won't discount a girl-targeted IP out of hand, though.

Neither of the torsos are new at all. The spring green teddy bear is interesting, though. Definitely has that Hidden Side feel.
