  1. That actually makes sense. Wouldn't be the first time I've heard of a mold being damaged/destroyed after one use.
  2. I kinda want to team the Castway up with the pilot from the 31064. I forgot about the People Pack release. Thanks for the correction.
  3. I think the dolphin mold first turned up in the 2nd Lego Batman Movie CMF wave.
  4. 21 turned up today. Only grabbed the centauride and Aztec warrior this time, but I'm pretty happy with them.
  5. The waffle cone pattern on the tail piece makes for an interesting effect. Can't wait to see these things unveiled.
  6. There's a lot of white in the figure's color pallet, and it's kind of just humdrum. Looking at the cabaret singer's headdress (yet again), I ask: CMF Achu when?
  7. The Lashina hairpiece from the DC Superhero Girls minidoll in brown would have been pretty good on the centaur. Eowyn and Galadriel's hairpieces may have worked, too. I'm not really keen on the centaur outside of the actual horse bit, but I've got a Forest Maiden I never got around to getting the skirt piece for that I can throw on there.
  8. That jaguar warrior is legit, and it wouldn't surprise me if we got an Aztec/Mayan "princess" using a recolored cabaret singer's headdress.
  9. I think Lego-Freak nailed it. It's a (VERY toned-down) Carnival dancer.
  10. Truly a superb group of designs.
  11. Those cookies are especially nice.
  12. Metaluna mutant!
  13. $5 CMFs in boxes, so I can't avoid tired-butt City minifigure archetypes? Assuming they aren't doing a new mold with every figure, and they haven't hired Robert8 to head the CMF design team, I'm gonna have to give this line a hard pass.
  14. Yup. Still, a great design.
  15. That Lil' Frankenstein's Monster is CUTE.
  16. No one can say for certain, but it stands to reason that they probably do intend to do a full sentai eventually. I was 11 or so when MMPR started, but wasn't particularly enamored with it. Still ended up with LEGO red ranger, though.
  17. Enlighten did one a few years back. With Monkie Kid, Sun Wukong in the CMF line and other Chinese-targeted sets I'd be a little surprised if LEGO didn't do one eventually. [/img]
  18. QFT, especially given the price increase. These are all great so far, Robert8. Makes me sad we're not likely to get another Halloween themed CMF series.
  19. Robert8 has proven that there is plenty of ideas left to explore. I've certainly reached mine. $5 is pretty absurd.
  20. M:tG boosters have been a known racket, practically since the beginning.
  21. They ought to just number them like Fisher-Price does (did?) for their Imaginext blind bags, Hasbro does for the Transformers Botbots singles, and Mega does for any number of their "blind" products. I kind of like the test of tactile acuity, but there I just want to grab the one figure I'm looking for and just go.
  22. One of the Neighborhood Market locations has them for that. If I wanted to drive a quite spell, there's a Walmart selling them for $1, if Brickseek is to be believed (less and less, these days).
  23. Thanks, I found him once I got to a store that had a good supply. I disagree that you can't tell he and the athlete apart by the spears alone, but it's always better to get a confirmation through the use of other parts. Speaking of parts, I was surprised to find the Viking came with a spare beard piece.
  24. The rendered shark *looks* sand blue, but I'm not certain of it. Yeah, the conjunctivitis around the eye printing is a let-down, especially after they went and gave us a tan crocodillian. The whole wave looks phoned-in.
