  1. Likewise, though the bush pilot makes me realize how badly we need a scarf piece in white and a crusher cap piece. Good work, Aurore!
  2. It looks like the Chihuahua mold is back in one of the Hidden Side sets. Pic quality is bad, but it looks like it's in reddish brown.
  3. The Viking has thus-far eluded me. Target had most of their stock up by the staffed cashiers, and I turned up no Vikings in the partial case I found at another Walmart. They've got an inner bag, right? I was surprised to find the athlete is bagged.
  4. That's a bit of unexpected parts reuse.
  5. A couple of interesting hair pieces, and I might hunt down a Princess Iron Fan, but otherwise nothing I'm too interested in.
  6. I'm curious as to what state B&P is going to be in once the sets release. Might luck up and find it for <$15USD on Bricklink, much like the zombie sharks when they came out.
  7. Grabbed the last half-dozen that Walmart had, and was fortunate to get no doubles.
  8. My local store doesn't have any CMFs out currently. In the next town over, the one with S.20 and Disney S.2 also had a fair bit of S.19 and DC S.2. I haven't been to that town's second Walmart, but I imagine it's similarly stocked. A lot of Disney S.2 showed up around Christmas for whatever reason.
  9. Saw a picked-over case at one of the area Walmarts yesterday. I've got my eye on other stuff, but the temptation was real. Good ol' Walmart price of $3.44. They also dumped a TON of Disney S.2 in those cardboard displays of various toys they've got out on display currently.
  10. I think the potential for disappointment in a given wave is amplified now that we're only getting one regular series a year. Perhaps it's not so bad if you enjoy one or both of a given year's licensed offerings. If you aren't, however, and the year's regular CMF is a dud, well now you've got a year to wait for another bite of the apple. I can understand some folks' frustration, especially when you're getting police officers and firefighters that aren't remarkably different than the ones coming in LEGO's yearly recycled City sets. Yup, all of this. My only issue is that, again, we're down to a regular series a year, we don't really need 2-3 slots dedicated to them. Unless they come with a pumpkin pail accessory, then it's full speed ahead.
  11. Still hide nor hair of them in my AO.
  12. *Blue Öyster Cult intensifies* Really nice build!
  13. The thing with Star Wars is that there aren't a ton of costume changes where main characters are concerned, especially ones not already covered by 20+ years of LEGO sets. I'm sure there are a few aliens that this opens the door to (Tonnika Sisters never ever), so there is that. It might be different if the brain trust at Lucas Film hadn't dumped 30 years of EU canon, but I digress.
  14. Eh, Marvel, sure, but I'd prefer not to be burning up CMF waves with slight variants and improvements of characters we've gotten in sets multiple times over the years. Yeah, I'm talking about you, LEGO Star Wars.
  15. There was rumored to be a Hidden Side set that had a shark, and this one looks to fit the bill. Pretty disappointed, though.
  16. Great seeing that the ray is in a polybag, and I'm pretty stoked to see the big shark back. They even countereshaded it.
  17. All I'm gonna say is that these should have been series 20 (especially the Russian folk dancer), and great work as usual.
  18. I had the exact same thought.
  19. I do like that knight's face print, and the '80s musician is almost redeemed by that A·E·S·T·H·E·T·I·C back print.
  20. Other than not being a fan of the dark hair/light tail, I quite like it.
  21. One job, LEGO. One. Job.
  22. That would be great.
  23. It's kind of plain for, well any theme, honestly.
