This is a huge deterrent for me from buying Star Wars sets these days. I would love to buy sets and use the parts to create better accurate versions of ships. Now, that's essentially pointless with the colors. I've often wondered if they just don't want to flood the market with certain color pieces.

The ship looks great. I thought the mandalorian torsos were a nice touch from the movies.

The style you used on the front of it is very interesting. I like it, something out of the ordinary.

That was brought to my attention as well from one of the others asking me to do the same. Unfortunately, the build has since been disassembled without any "non-pure" weapons. I did also voice my concern as to how the rules were written and addressed at that time as I only interpreted that as building parts. There are several pictures that still have regular weapons only though, so they could be graded I suppose.. I will take that into consideration in the future. Thanks.

Here's mine with modifications I made back when it first came out. This was a great kit LEGO brought out. My changes were mostly aesthetic. I'd like to accommodate the side by side drivers at some point, but it's not crucial to me. I hate stickers, I used some printed pieces I had laying around. Added some tiles and the rail on top. Changed the canon on the side too. We had three of these in our collaborative build with each modified differently.

He's actually one of those people that appears in a movie for about 5 seconds and then some nerd goes online and writes a whole story about him haha. He was in Empire Strikes Back during the Cloud City Evacuation carrying something. You can check it out and read the wookiepedia article for a laugh.

Don't believe I posted this before. This is an Elektra I made for a Daredevil MOC based on Season 2 of the Netflix Series.

This was a small build I did to as a space filler for a local event I attended with my LUG.Start to finish, it was completed in one night. (One very late night haha) I figured this would probably be a hit with the kids and it was. The helicopter was an after thought but turned out okay too. All in all a fun little build, but will be disassembled and parted out for future builds.

This is a collaborative project that was constructed by a number of members in our LUG. The project took a great level of planning and cooperation. Currently the project boasts a 4x5 arrangement of 48x48 Stud base plates, somewhere in the vicinity of 200 minifigs, and several ships. We decided to go with a camouflage scheme for several of the ships just because we thought it would be practical and look pretty cool. The original concept for this was to do something different from the norm with Star Wars. Most large scale dioramas you see are usually Hoth, Tatooine, or from the Prequels. While in development, the trailer dropped for Rogue One and we noticed some similarities to what we were envisioning. We intentionally have left the project vague as we are unsure if Rogue One will ultimately look like this or not. Also, we are still discussing the possibility of expanding this further. We had our first completed public showing this past weekend at the Brick Fair NJ Convention in the USA. Will have other media on this in time including a timelapse video of the construction.
