You’ve been awarded (9) points. Judges’ comments… Very cool design here. The little things spread throughout the build really breathe life into it. It is obvious that this build was constructed with a certain image and photography in mind. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. It's good because your pictures look great, very well thought out and executed. The negative side of it is that the overall building structure is lacking that finishing refinement (Closed walls, Roof, Gap outside between plate with Helo and other exterior grounds) but this is minimal, I need to find something to critique. Great Job, I think maybe your best one yet. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing!

You’ve been awarded (7) points. Judges’ comments… The appeal of this build is in its originality. The concept of the facility breaks the mold from what is normally seen. Your detailing in the floor definitely took you some time to complete. The lava river was a little over the top, but you pulled it off. Biggest suggestion would be to approach some of your phots at level with the build. Top down shots are nice, but when you're level with build it allows you to see the details at a better perspective. You're builds keep getting better, keep it up! Interesting choice, although the mission was to secure the weapons, you changed that, and it did affect your score in my opinion. Great overhead shots, but would have liked to see some at the minifig's perspective. This gives an impression of realism, which I know may sound silly, but it can really give a different view of your build! The lava detailing was good, but then as I move up throughout the rest of your build, the build felt bland. Simple floors and simple walls aren't bad, but when you stay with a 32x32 build, this leaves a lot of room for details. I feel you could have added some more. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! -

You’ve been awarded (7) points. Judges’ comments… This build is massive. I like the overall layout of the defenses that you have setup here. I was very disappointed we did not get to see inside the building as that could have really been your chance to shine. Overall this build is decent but you still need to try and focus more time and energy on your landscaping. Seeing your other builds, I know that you can conquer this aspect. If your worried about having enough pieces to do proper landscaping, perhaps consider sizing down your build. Nice job as always! Big build here. Considering you didn't use the left half of it, might be an idea to cut back on your next? I thought your sea barriers/defenses were awesome! I love how you put the netting over that framework, those looked great! This was an excellent detail to this build. Your terrain continues to be flat. A plate here or there is nice, but it is always just...bland! Please, take the chance and add some hills, pits, and more vegetation. It looks like your troops mow the lawn right along the edge of the building, and then that's it. Add that plant life right up along the building. Your building is also very clean. Not sure if this was what you were going for, but it's just a big gray wall...with a door. Pics looked good! Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! -

You’ve been awarded (8) points. Judges’ comments… This could possibly be your best build yet. Awesome job with the landscaping and floral arrangement. Things that stuck out to me were the raised rail track, the AA Gun, and the pill box bunker. The base was well detailed and articulated inside, well covered by your rock wall. I feel the weak spots to this build were the ordnance lifter and the futuristic jet (reminded me of X-Men). I am very glad you decided to start using regular photos instead of the comic strips because I feel as though your images are much more focused now. Really a fantastic job all around here. Details, details, details!!! Way to go PBM! It almost feels a bit cramped with all of the details you included. I remember a previous entry you did with a tunnel and there were some concerns with the build and the lighting. I can tell you made some changes based on that feedback and this looks great. Just be careful with all of the prototype items, this is supposed to be in the real world, even though it's fictitious, so try to base more on realism for vehicles and weapons. The black jet is a stretch, but hey, it's the enemy so I won't sweat it! You did a great job with this, one critique though. Please, get a solid color backdrop please, no one wants to see your floors and walls! Good job! Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! -
You’ve been awarded (7) points. Judges’ comments… This build is a great example of well executed simplicity. The build is very clean and realistic. I love the hole knocked out of the wall. The angles of your photos with the guys behind the wall were great. Nice job on the APC and posing of the troops. Suggestions for the future- Don't be afraid to go inside those structures, that would have put you over the top, varying depths and spaces in terrain would be nice to see. Using a different pallet of colors is cool, but varying your terrain height always adds a little pop to the builds. Great work as always, keep it up! Good job! solid APC and nice to see that you gave credit as I recognized it right away. The terrain is expansive for this build and I was glad to see that it wasn't totally flat, but I think the field could have used some more changes. The building was just plain grey walls. Not terrible, but even concrete gets brittle over time and chips so a few building flaws would have been good. I really, really like the shot of the troops crashing through the hole in the outter wall, but there is one problem. YOUR FINGER is in the picture!!! If it wasn't for that finger tip, I feel this is one of the best pictures in this game so far! Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing!

You’ve been awarded (6) points. Judges’ comments… This is a very unique build. From first glance, I couldnt even tell that one part was the front and the other was the back, it looks like totally different environments (which I think was your goal). The frontal part with the hill and the door are nicely done. The terrain and minifigure posing is well planned. Your pictures really capture the essence of what should be seen here. The interior is a little bit bland and could be developed a little more. The only other thing to work on would be your presentation. It might be worth it to look into using something for a solid neutral background not to take away from your build. This is a really great effort here and I look forward to seeing more from you. This is almost two different builds, but it's not. And if that is what you were going for, then well done! Let's start inside; a testing facility is what it appears to be? I think the space is good, but I felt there was a bit too much open. unused space. Fill it up with a computer or something. That white floor just stands out too much. Moving outside, I think this is where your build really shines. The hill the bunker is hidden in is a simple slope. Not a bad thing, but I think there was an opportunity to add some more deviation to the terrain of that hill. The ground was great though. Not flat, the terrain moved, and it was well covered in plant life. The troops attacking looked really good, a bit of close quarters battling going on. Definitely want to try to use your lightbox next time. Not really for the lighting, but because none of us really want to see the walls of your house or the inside of that lid. Good build! You’ve been awarded (5) points. Judges’ comments… Okay this was a very cool concept. No one has yet to do a microscale build to show the battlefield from this perspective, so you got some originality points there. I am not sure if this build meets the 32x32 requirement as I can't see all of it too well. 1. It's very very dark - I know you were going for a night effect here but it was difficult to see. 2. There isn't a real shot that shows me the entire build, it looks like there are 2 builds here so I'm not going to dock you for the requirement since you doubled up. Please try and be mindful of that in the future. The microscale stuff is pretty cool and from what I could see really setup the impression of things. Nice job and creativity, just give us more to see next time. I really enjoyed the micro builds, very creative. My concern is you have 2 separate builds here, along with a questionable overall size; not quite sure if there was a complete 32x32 total build area. The darkened pics were a risk, they always are, but you need to be sure there is still somewhat of a lightsource in the background so you can still see what is being photographed. Build wise, I thought the micro stuff was great, but felt that the minifig scale was lacking. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! -
You’ve been awarded (3) points. Judges’ comments… Let me start by saying the pictures in your reveal box were better than those you decided to use to tell your story. The problem here is that we couldn't really get a good look at your build to see everything here. Try and get some light in your photos, and not by using a flash. Go outside or even try to get the curtains open in the room your shooting in. A little light can go a long way. The concept was definitely a good idea and I can see you made a real effort here, your pictures are what really killed you here. Well, you built a weapon test site into the wall of a cave...not quite sure how that is possible, but that's what you chose. Without an overall pic of your display, it's very difficult to see if you completed a build that was actually 32x32 studs. It's close, but it is a concern. Your pictures were really bad, that's just the nicest way I can state it! What you should do is come up with an idea, figure out how to do that, set aside some time every week to do your build, and then leave time to take photos so you aren't rushing everything at the last minute. Judging by these pics, I'm guessing this was extremely last minute because the hidden pics were better than your entry pics. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing!

You’ve been awarded (4) points. Judges’ comments… This was a little disappointing to see as you've done a lot of quality work in the past. The build itself was extremely cramped and lacked your usual flow of detail. Pictures were verrrrrrry out of focus here. It's unfortunate that you ran out of time as the build could have had real potential. I think you are aware of what you would need to work on. Your weapons test site build felt like it was missing the weapons test site.. The build was of the outside of a mini bunker, didn't really show the test site. The Humvee that you built was cool, but that didn't really show much of the testing site facilities. To me, the Humvee was the only real build here. The pics were a bit blurred, but overall not bad. This build gives me the feeling that it was completed at the last minute; maybe it wasn't, but it comes across that way. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing!

You’ve been awarded (6) points. Judges’ comments… Okay so I like this build but I don't love it. To me this seems more like a sidebuild than a Campaign build. It is a little bit too simple. To make it better, you might have considered building on a bigger template. You tried fitting a few things in here that really cramped your space (SAM by the gate is top example). Your attention to detail was pretty good though, it just needed a little more maybe in terms of buildings and things. Your Hummer looks excellent and very nicely done. Can't wait to see your next build. Your build was for a naval base, but all we got was a guard post gate. There also were no signs of anyone securing any weapons. Be sure to actually complete the missions at hand. There is plenty of room to modify the original missions, but at the heart of it, you still need to complete the missions given. Nice job with the Humvee and giving credit to Project Azazel, he is a talented builder and worthy of the credit. Overall, I think you could have used a bit more detail on your terrain, it just appears flat. Be sure you are careful with your lighting, some pics are well lit and look great (wounded soldier on the edge of the build lying on his back, great shot!) others look very dark (last shot of the topic). Don't hesitate to buy a solid colored sheet and use it as a back drop. People tend to use paper, but once you see those lines for the different pieces, for some, that's all they see and it tears away from your build. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! -

You’ve been awarded (9) points. Judges’ comments… This definitely takes the cake this round! Everything is done so nicely. The first thing that caught my eye was your landscaping around the water and the rock work. Everything was carefully put together to provide a little bit of realism. Your photos showing the guys coming up out of the water capture that cavern like view perfectly. The build itself is great with everything from the exterior brick detailing to the overgrowth on the roof. I would have liked to have seen a little more detail inside and I'm only saying this because you had so much detail outside haha. The SAM Launcher looks a little familiar to me, unsure if you did something similar in a prior build or borrowed the idea. Either way, this is definitely your best build yet. Keep Going! That first shot is amazing! Lots of details added to this build. Your shadow of the plane was a great idea. And the paratroops dropping in was a very creative way to look at things from a different perspective. Watch your lighting on some of the pics, but otherwise, this is a fantastic build. Good job! You’ve been awarded (7) points. Judges’ comments… I think your building design here is pretty neat. The skylight windows were a nice touch with how you layered them in. Inside the building you have great detail work. The rockwal just off to the side is very nicely done and the curves on it are great. My suggestion for the future would be to try and do some minor things to break up your landscaping. Like the water for example, just dropping some clear plates or cheese slopes to show some motion would go a long way as right now this is just sitting on a base plate. I'm personally not a fan of the Samurai thing, but I'm not knocking points for that. Overall this is a solid build, nicely done! Research center, located on the shore line of a lake, right? I think the build quality here was pretty good. You took a risk with the ceiling and it paid off well. Your rock work and cliff side conveyed that alcove look very well. From the researcher's stand point, I think it was poorly defended, but that's more a comment and doesn't affect the build. Two colors of sand was a good move, wet and dry. Maybe add a lil ripple to the lake/pool? Lighting was good, but you may want to add a backdrop of some type? No one wants to see the floor of where you live, but by covering it with a sheet, it brings the focus back to your build. Enjoyed not seeing only overhead shots, thank you for mixing it up. Good job! Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! -
I was asked to check this out so I'll throw in my 2 cents: Would you like to see more contests? If it's doable sure, they are always fun. What is your opinion of Tags (those small images on the left <---)? Doesn't make me a better builder. Do you use, if ever, Eurobricks reference materials (ie. lists of Reviews, lists of MOCS, lists of Forums)? Sometimes the pinned tutorials. I find the lists of MOCs often either not up to date or just cumbersome. Have you participated in games on Eurobricks (ie. Role-Playing, Mafia, etc.)? I run the Great Brick War in the Special Theme Section and played in SoNE for a while. Do you use/visit the Eurobricks Facebook page? Eurobricks on Flickr? etc. No on facebook, but check flickr album all the time. Do you post MOCs online? What hosting platform do you prefer to use? Yes - Here and Facebook Groups. Do you prefer broadly defined threads or multiple specialized threads? I'm all for organizing into specialized threads, soooo much easier to find things. What is the first page you visit when opening Eurobricks on your browser? I check the Great Brick War Section of the forum. Additional Info: Given that I run a game/section here, I am often trying to pull players in from Facebook and Flickr who are very talented builders. Over the course of time, I've run into countless people who like what I'm doing but have no interest in coming to Eurobricks. When I ask them why, the majority of the complaints people give me are along the lines "Everyone on there is an Elitest, pompous, sarcastic #(*$)@". Having been on here for a while myself, I know that is not true for the majority. However, there are certainly some arrogant sarcastic people on here (members and staff) who are extremely over the top and seem like they argue just for the sake of arguing. That can suck the fun out of it for people. So that has made bringing new members in difficult for me. I don't know how to fix this preconception people have other than doing your best to be welcoming and not killing the fun of it. Suggestion: I'd very much like if the themes had separate categories for MOCs and Mods, Sets and Reviews, and then the speculation junk. It would make browsing sooooo much more pleasant.

You’ve been awarded (2) points. Judges’ comments… I provided a score of "0" for originality here. This build was originally intended to be a sidebuild that was taking the place of an additional campaign build, much less robbing someone else's campaign build, sorry but that aint cool. The build itself is well presented but the truck could use some more detail and sizing to match the original you intended to mimic. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! -
You’ve been awarded (3) points. Judges’ comments… I like this one. It's simple and gets the job done. I think the artillery piece is a nice idea and I looked twice to see how you built it. The little things. Suggestions would be to make a little bit wider of a terrain base and maybe show some wear and tear. Keep in mind as you build more and we see what you can do, we're going to want to see more from you (That's a good thing). Nice work. Basic weapon demo, good job. I think the base could have been larger; even though this is a small build, the wider base will give you more space to add details and other items like terrain, so you can show off more of your building skill. Distance photos are well lit, but be careful on the close up shots; it looks as if you blocked the light source as your picture became very dark. Keep it up! Be Sure to Update Your AARs. You’ve been awarded (4) points. Judges’ comments… Phenomenal Work! You've captured the look and feel of this quite nicely. Everything from the working landing gear to the articulation of the ordnance is executed very well. If there was one thing I might change, it would be to do the forward wings by the cockpit with plate/tile instead of brick. Awesome job, I can't wait to see this thing in a build. Awesome!!! I do not know enough about the real jet this was based off of, but I enjoyed looking at this a lot! Good armament/loadout pictures, solid build with lots of details. Watch out with your lighting, those pics darken up very quickly, my guess is you might be blocking your light source. Great build! Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing!- 6 replies

You’ve been awarded (3) points. Judges’ comments… This is very nicely done. A perfect of simple and clean being more effective than large and complex. Your figures are well articulated (and kitted out) and posed. Given the simple nature of what you were trying to convey, a make shift kill house is clearly demonstrated here. There were opportunities missed for a little bit more detail but overall I like it. Great job! Good detailing on the troops, although those looked to be the most 'built' out of anything...which is ok! I think we can all clearly see what you were going with here, it;s just an extremely simple build, but it works. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! -
You’ve been awarded (2) points. Judges’ comments… This build would have been better presented as a Lord of War post as it just showcases a vehicle that you state will be used in a future post. As for the sub itself, it's nicely done and looks practical and realistic. The weapon placements look like they might get a little bit awkward. Overall, this a decent small build. Very basic build here. Be sure to not block out your light source when you go in for close up pics. I think this build was way too simple for what you have demonstrated so far in this game and feels a bit like a point grab attempt. Your simple sea floor is just that, a simple display base. spruce it up! Add some other stuff on the floor, add some variation in terrain, and a few plants or rocks, the ocean floor ain't smooth! I think these details, although more a part of the base, would have shown that even this is a simplistic build, you put time in on this and that would demonstrate. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Campaign 7- Failed State The RON and COAC Forces failed to secure all of the military installations in Xenor. They are both scrambling to secure the 3 remaining sites and engage each other on the battlefield. Sites Lima, Oscar, and Papa were not cleared by either side. Lima and Oscar are both clear of Nukes, but Xenor military personnel are still deemed a threat, though they have lost their leadership and have largely disbanded. In the shuffle, it is suspected that Xenor military personnel detonated a tactical nuclear weapon in the city of Haams outside of site Papa. Though small in size, the nuke did significant damage to the city. The staging COAC AND RON forces preparing to battle inside the city are now taking Nuclear Fallout precautions. Xenor military personnel have evacuated site Papa due to the engulfing fallout. Militaries from COAC and RON Nations arrived in haste to all 3 locations. The stage was now set for the largest battle of the war so far! Campaign Guidelines The 3 battlefields are: The radiated and battered city of Haams Weapons test site Lima Army Base Oscar Each player can choose which battlefield they want to attack. Example "(GBW- CP7) Filace - Broken Country" Neither side should show their forces definitively destroying the opposition. Showing successes is okay, but not total domination. The winners of the campaign will be decided based on the points awarded from judging. This means if your team doesn't score well, it's possible for your forces to be beaten back. MINIMUM SIZE BUILD IS 32 X 32 All LDD Builds must be labeled- Example: (GBW- CP7) Country - Title of build (LDD) All builds must be new MOC’s and not prior builds. So early on in the campaign, the staff decided which sites had WMD. Here they are and what was covered: Oscar - (SoF Took this Site) Echo - LegoRacer1 Bravo - Adamsons India - Johannsuued Juliett - Stash2Sixx Hotel - Leonardo da Bricki Papa - Mike - Sigpro So......... as you can see one site was missed. And it looks like the only reason it was missed is because people failed to submit builds on both sides that had committed. Neither side has reached out to me regarding any extenuating circumstances, so this stands as a loss and Campaign 7 will reflect that.
