  1. I'll go ahead and get you added to everything once you make your AAR post. Be sure to read the intro and the rules. Familiarize your self with the current situation by looking at other people's builds. Have questions? Post them in the general discussion area where we can help you out. Welcome!
  2. Looks like COAC put in 8 builds and RON 9. I know several of you have voiced concerns about scoring the total score versus an average. This round will be judged just as others were, but we may address the issue before the roll out of CP4. We'll see how this turns out. Stay Tuned!
  3. We've been very busy behind the scenes but wanted to take the time to announce @Captain Genaro will be joining the staff to help us move forward in a great direction.
  4. Campaign 3 is now closed! Thank you everyone for participating!
  5. Somebody got some new FALs..... Mine are in the mail haha
  6. Filace CP3- Uphill Battle Map Name: Studica Grid: E4 The RON countries never did anything to try and thwart the COAC attempts to use the river leading into the Basin in Briolui leaving the gap wide open for an amphibious assault. Immediately after being dropped on the beach by the Plantasea Navy, the First Division of the Filace Marines stormed up the river banks to engage the fortified positions there. They were met with fierce resistance from a company sized element of Various RON forces spread throughout a number of defensive positions already set up. Captain Beeze was extremely dissatisfied with their orders from command. Their task was to get mobile once the Marines had cleared the beach and start forward reconnaissance to find defensive positions further back from the beachhead to engage in a joint raid with the airborne. The only problem in the scenario was that the marines were taking a toll fighting up the hill and the Army Theater commander, Colonel Kilgore who was also inserted with some rangers during the marine assault, would not let Captain Beeze's team move until the Marine's cleared the beach often yelling "We ain't moving till its safe to surf this beach captain!" As the Marines continued to fight on through constant artillery and rocket barrages slowly making headway, the Captain brought his team in to discuss their options. Reports flashed out over the Comm Net that stated a tunnel complex had been found in the side of the hill. Captain Beeze and his team made the decision to "Recon" the tunnels in hopes they might run into some bigger targets to call in the paratroopers.
  7. The flag built into the bridge.... nice touch
  8. Thanks for the pictures. I will probably post it here when completed.
  9. Hello All, I'm working on a large project right now and I'm in the process of picking up all of the colors and parts I think I'm going to need. I am building a MOC that is going to be happening in a grassy plain, rolling hills, and a few occasional rocky out croppings and small elevations. Color wise, it will be winter-ish so more Tan and Dark Tan blended into greens instead of just a straight green approach. Looking for pictures of similar types of builds or good techniques for these environments. I want to have blends of color and some good detail throughout (IE not just some tan plates on a base plate). Thanks Guys! One of my reference images:
  10. We cannot have them as a Side Mission which people can choose from at any time as we must maintain some level of control over the flow of the game. That said, there is nothing saying you may not see some in the form of a FRAGO.
  11. Honestly, for what you want to do stick with Bricklink. Terrain is a killer if you want to do it properly (elevation changes, color changes, etc). You'll need lots of different sized plates depending on how big you want to go. As far as the Base itself goes, most of the sets that would contain anything truly useful would run you a lot of money and you'd probably need two of them to make something worthwhile. Keep your eyes out on facebook sale groups or something for some smaller sets people sell in the for sale section. Some times people sell the sets without the minifigs pretty cheap. Again I'd ultimately try and push you to bricklink. With a $200 budget, that will get you a lot further than buying a set. You can always create yourself a "Want" List for this specific build and then sort it by price, quantity, and everything else to help you get the most bang for your buck. Hope this helps!
  12. Yeah we've been looking at that one and working on a way to do something like that in a similar fashion to say a FRAGO. Good Points and Thank You!
  13. Love this one. We may look into something like this! We've had discussions regarding participation as well. You can do this now. Check Rule #4 In our General Rules Topic. There are descriptions, though a little vague, of the climate and terrain in the World Map Topic. Also another thing I'd like to point out. We've had several fluctuations in the staff since the inception of the game. @Stash2Sixx and I are the only (2) who remain from Day One. Some of the things you guys are asking for, which sound great, require a lot of planning, strategizing behind the scenes, and careful implementation. We are in the process of bringing on some people to help generate content and plan behind the scenes so we can keep things as active as possible. Most of the other "games" here on Eurobricks have a much larger number of staff members than we currently do. We are aware of the problem and working to solve it. Keep the Feedback coming guys, you're definitely getting the gears turning.
  14. A few points on your comments: 1. We go for quality over quantity, that's why we have a limit in place. From day one that's been our motto. It's about building better, not just earning points. 2. Smaller builds require a great amount of detail and well executed photography to score decently. 3. The point of a FRAGO in the real world is a spur of the moment change in your operation to achieve something else, thus the short response time and build time. That being said, we usually provide a 24 hour window for response. There are all sorts of ways you can set yourself (and your team) up for notifications. That being said, we'll see if we can find some ways to keep things a little more active throughout the time between campaigns. Thanks for the good points!
  15. Can you guys elaborate a little bit? Are you looking for just smaller builds? Time sensitive builds? or ? Side builds now do not have a size limit and are pretty vague. Additionally, we are about to release some new types for you.
  16. Love your work on the hill there. I too use the slopes horizontally in a similar fashion. Curious though, the gradual buildup with the plates, is it solid all the way up or is there periodic supports under them?
  17. WOW. Do you have any close up shots? I'd like to definitely see more.
  18. So for the first part, I've been working on trying to render some more realistic maps. Unfortunately I just have not had the time to do this. My goal is to create some maps with some depth perception allowing for landscapes to be shown in a more 3-Dimensional Form. If you have the capabilities to do something like this and are willing to help out, I'd be very happy to work on it with you. FRAGOs are tough and cant be done all the time only because they are so time limited and we try to make them worth something special. My goal is 1-2 FRAGOs per campaign. We are in the process of developing and releasing some more side missions to allow you guys to do more stuff.
