If you want to share with me those flyers from LEGO, you can send to my email an scanned copy from both sides of sheet. (I don't know if it's public, but also it is in my blog. I don't type specifically here because of spam a/o rules) I collect all type of publications of this type and I am really grateful. Of course I credit you as "Scan by [Nickname]" Thanks for sharing you too ^^

I think this Easter I am going to re-build this set. Ready for Launch! -
I have noted some balls have little less diameter than LEGO's (no more than 0.3 mm measured with caliper), but when they move I haven´t noticed any difference. (neither 3 friends of me who has used) I suppose this is because the moulding quality... these are simple "beads" for aesthetic purposes. Weight are the same... no so much dfference because they are so small. The bead orange is darker but shinier... not much but it could interfere with color sensor. I haven't tried yet. The only problem is that hole could be read as "black". The great differente is that LEGO's are mate and China's are "shine" Anyway, It is always interesting get 30 balls for trying with genuine lego balls your modules in case you go to an event So happy save money to GBC fans. Now you have to show your GBC modules to the world!

I have not posted any link of stores because of i have found it in ebay, and I don't know about stores policies on Eurobricks... If you search "Round Smooth Plastic Beads 14mm" you have many stores and types to choose... with many prices, You could have more different if you search "14 mm Round Beads". I pay less than 3€ for 100x of it. :) Anyway I asked some moulding companies for a large quantity but it only worths when you buy more than 100000 balls... too much for a single user, even for a community ^^ I suppose for about 5 euros you can have a large bunch of it on ebay.

Yeah, I came with this problem of lack of balls when i first started to build my modules. The cheapest way to find is that that I proposed time ago (In 3 languages, english at the end) LEGO GBC Balls vs Plastic Collar Beads but I think the best way is support it by cuusoo. I have to say that balls are almost the same except that they are finest polished and they may have more tolerancy than LEGO balls. But they worth for such cheap price. I believe we could be 10000 fans of GBC, builders or just "viewers" GBC Balls Reedition - バックGBCボール! Showing our modules in events we'll show to the world hoy fun GBC is! Thanks for support it!!

Disabled Technic Builders
Blastem replied to grum64's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Sorry if my english is bad... The only hope for living could be encouraged by a strong hobby of feeling about building. I think build by yourself is one of the strongest point of LEGO. This AFOL's history is one clear example and the inspiration for "always improving" What I can say about is that one of my LEGO introducers was an uncle of mine, disabled. He had only an arm with limited movement because a mining accident. He taught me that sometimes the barriers are not the fact, only "want" is the fact. Keep Going and thanks for your history Sorry if my english is bad... The only hope for living could be encouraged by a strong hobby of feeling about building. Original Topic in english here and in spanish here Given the aggressive growth of the price of the above official LEGO balls, I decided to find low cost alternative for people who do not like to spend an average of 40 cents (yes, 0.40 €) per ball. With this idea I wrote to several manufacturers in Europe... the answer I received, the cheapest cost came from the 20000 balls. Then I started to ask Chinese manufacturers, and yes, came to less than 0.01 € but put in the port of Valencia. As I amnot obviously still crazy enough to ask for 800 euros of plastic spheres, or coordinate an order among all LUGs in Europe since abandoned the idea, but I had another. Known is the hobby of many people to make necklaces, combined with the internet that made seek "beads" in this format: Spherical, smooth, with little 14mmde diameter tolerance. And dude, I found ... of all types, color, shape, etc ... leaving the smooth spherical with a hole. (Click to enlarge) The only difference I have is that officials have the mold grooves to make them look more real, and the injection site, which in the case of officers is something "ugly" and the beads are not appreciated. Besides, as the name suggests has a through hole to make necklaces About the price ... as well have said, is no longer the price ball itself, but must add the great difficulty to find them in large numbers. Well, I won this auction at the nice price of 2.30 € the 100 balls (What is being 0.023 per ball). It seems a reasonable price. Anyway there are multiple and beautiful colors to choose from, you can make a beautiful necklace for your favourite girl for less than one euro. They are sold up to 20 colors at 5 cents a unit, if we represent graphically this is. (The 2 bags worth the same as what you see in the tray) Conclusion: Lords of LEGO, you should consider "unbury" the mold of the balls in question, especially knowing that there is demand at events. In a piece lugbulk would succeed, and did not say if sold in a pack or a set GBC ... As if there was any doubt, the beads work perfectly in the modules For my part, I will start using this in the draft and official to complete projects and events Besides, I created a project to ask LEGO cusoo the reedition, I would appreciate your vote on cuusoo following this link: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/7753 Cheers!!!

The problem with zamor spheres is shortage in large quantities. Think about the demand is every GBC MOC builder in the World change it balls to zamos spheres... There won¡t be enough to stack demand and prices will even raise more expensive. Apart from this, consider geometrical size of this esphere. Many modules will become useless due to this change. I am not an expert in plastic inyection, but sure that if TLC try to "un-bury" Sport Balls moulds, this will be a profit for commnunity and TLC itself. Think about how many "expansion packs" with 50x or 100x balls they could sell, furthermore, a "first GBC module set" will be an option for those kids who want to build his first module... Anyway... As far as I have seen, many TFOLS who want to start in GBC stands back because of this shortage of cheap balls... that's why i have suggested this reedition in Technic Delicatessen and Cuusoo. Thanks for your support
