Castle really is an 'ancient structure' section, but Pirates really don't count as ancient. I would categorize a Roman/Greek theme and Vikings under Castle, though.

Castle gets its own forum because Castle has new sets coming out and Pirates has been discontinued for years, save for a couple re-releases.

Yeah, dark red would make for more continuity. The ship does look like a proto, though, so cross your fingers.

No, I like the Viking ones better - this thing has tons less pieces to it. Too <insert that tiresome argument>. The set is good for one thing, and one thing only, in my opinion - blay mountain pieces (my Viking project, by the way, will be entirely blay/new brown...).

Yeah, I noticed that thing with the 2x6 as well, but I have no problems with the tread. I was more disappointed with the Crane Truck.

Of course - that B-Wing was made before the license, or before the B-Wing numero uno, at least. We'd get a much better redesign nowadays. ;)

Check out those wings in new brown, though... could use some of those! We'll probably get too many of them with the Sandcrawler, though.

After seeing the original trilogy again, I actually think we need a better shuttle. The one in the movie is HUGE.

Interesting things there. I saw it on FBTB first, but with their stringent admittance policy - I use Gmail :| - I wasn't able to say anything. ;) I think a Hoth Battle set would sell well. Think about it: give us a Rebel Snowspeeder (with flesh toned figs), a little rebel turret, a few more figures, and a couple redesigned AT-STs. Don't see it happening, though.

From the all-awesome Penny Arcade: 'I get the sense from Gabriel that he finds the idea of LEGO Star Wars somewhat sacrilegious. I'm intrigued by it, honestly, as it amounts to a kind of sanctioned parody of the hallowed series. There's a demo of it out now, that's where that earlier link went. I've always loved those interlocking bricks and their tiny, perpetually jubilant dudes, to my mind this pairing represents a Flawless Victory. To know him better I tried to imagine how I'd feel if some renegade Danish cabal went and snapped together a Lego version of Dune or something, and my rage was so fierce it was picked up by seismograph. So I guess I sort of get it. '

Yours is more impressive, but LEGO has a more streamlined version.

Finding that one TIE pilot helmet or the one printed 1x2 tile does get tiring after a while, though. ;) I've left it unsorted until now, but with certain projects coming up, I have to prepare... :-D

I'm thinking: - Plates - Tiles/grills - Printed small pieces - Bricks - Hinges/joints - Other - Technic (large) - Technic (small) For black/blue/gray/dark gray/white/red/yellow/tan/green/other (warm tones)/other (cold tones). Then, for clear colors: - Windshields - Windows - Dots (1x1 plates/tiles) - Tiles/grills - Other For minifigs/accessories: - Heads - Torsos - Legs - Hats/helmets - Back accessories - Weapons - Tools - Small animals (monkeys, parrots, baby t-rexes, etc) - Large animals/creatures (Jabba, dewback, t-rex, etc) - Non-minifig droids (R2-D2, palace droid, battle droids, etc) And: - Baseplates - Fabric/sails/tents Anything you can think of that I missed?
