  1. I think Clue is a great idea - you should still do it! And maybe Sarg could pick up on that contest idea - maybe with train carriages as prizes?
  2. WOW! Thanks for all the tips, Brickster. That really helps! :') I'm thinking about theming it differently (the real Orient Express is too generic). I was considering theming it LEGO (it is the LEGO Express), Eurobricks (why not?) or theming passenger cars to their occupants (i.e. I would have a dark red car with Viking paraphernalia) and having the rest be generic. I'm more considering the last option - it'd be a lot of fun and be original (if a little unrealistic :-D). Would you be alright with that? It is your story, after all.
  3. I'm getting the regulator/motor, I basically need to know how to construct the carriages. Couplings, bumpers, all that stuff.
  4. I'm picking up a lot of train parts (the skeleton of Railway Express and TONS of track) on Monday, and along with that and my POA Hogwarts Express, I plan to build a model of the fabled LEGO Express (to reenact our murder mystery ;)). However, I've never had a motorized train before - just the Hogwarts Express. What basic pieces do I need, and where do they go? Are there any neat little tricks I should know about? Thanks, Bloody Jay
  5. I tawt I taw a puddy tat? Variation of SWAT perhaps?
  6. Touche, Athos. Touche.
  7. Register, log in, and review! Brickset is back new and improved. BRICKSET
  8. Does Mr. M know Rosa or any of the other passengers onboard?
  9. Town is more rural/quiet/etc, City is industrial/busy/etc. I love the new change - makes it seem more realistic. I just wish they'd release more normal buildings.
  10. Well, Phes, those Maersk boats are exactly the opposite - they mark the LAST run of Maersk blue, a very old color. ;)
  11. MEGABLOKS can't be shut down because there was a short period of time when LEGO lost its patent for the bricks and a few companies seized the opportunity before LEGO regained the patent.
  12. I think the basic idea is that this is the opportunity for LEGO to release a 'wounded' figure without breaching their general anti-violence policy. Besides, the Vader transformation is an iconic moment, perhaps THE iconic moment in Star Wars. They couldn't ignore it.
  13. So? Much better than the ISD/DS2.
  14. I think that they should shy away from licenses and do historical sets - hence I chose Gladiator (it's rather unlikely that they'd pick up a license for that old a movie).
  15. It did have computers, and that was a rather small set - I think a better example of a 'new' large set would be the Falcon, which had an EXCELLENT interior.
  16. What're those?
  17. I don't think we'll see figs that haven't been released in another set yet...
  18. When the Vikings Kabaya sets come around, are you guys going to try and pick those up?
  19. You will note that this is not Town; it is City. ;) I personally love the new blay baseplates. They're more... industrial.
  20. Either: a) they're re-releasing the old Star Destroyer b) they're releasing the ISD in blay c) they're redesigning the ISD in blay Sounds like fun.
  21. Does the cell phone have a contacts list, or missed calls, saved messages, recent callers, recently made calls, anything of that sort?
  22. (It wouldn't fit on one post for some reason) Ok. Two things: one. The gun has one bullet left. That means one more murder before the killer starts getting nasty. Two. Search the rooms of Wolf, Sarg, Yoda, and Ewok.
  23. -JonFett is discovered to have criminal links -Picture of set 6250 found, two men (one of them Phes) and a woman -Athos
