I don't mind the new colors replacing the old ones, I just want them to give us a crapload of sets with huge amounts of said colors. Especially regular bricks - I'm waiting with bated breath for the bulk bricks in blay. EDIT: wow. Check that hot alliteration.

I personally think they're marketing the wrong things to the wrong audience. They should be marketing the dinosaurs to the younger children, yes - but the guns should be made for the older audience. For example, giving the police officers pistols, making a SWAT team set, an army theme, or giving the Star Wars line realistic guns rather than megaphones. It would sell better from all perspectives - parents will be more likely to buy Dino sets without guns, and AFOLs/TFOLs will be more likely to buy other lines with guns, but not the Dino line, due to its juniorization.

Nope! I'm just saying it would be cool. All they're doing is getting rid of old stock. I personally think a speckled wall design for a castle would be incredible and very realistic.

Update: since a few people seem interested in the sets/figures/pieces I have to offer, I'll just say, I'm mainly in the market for Revenge of the Sith sets - however, once LEGO Vikings are released, I will be MORE than happy to trade for Viking sets and figures, and I will be looking for quite a few of them as well.

Well, the AT-TE carrier is mainly based off the RGS design, and the AT-TE is obviously already built, so that considered, the MOCs aren't that incredibly stupendous. Still, they are impressive, and I wish LEGO would do something like them.

If they released a magnifig set with 1 clone trooper, 1 BARC trooper, and 1 special clone trooper, they'd sell so well, and I doubt Hasbro will whine to Lucasfilm about MAGNETS.

If anything, it'll be Q1 2006, but I'd think that if they were going to release a set THAT BIG, it'd be made to coincide with the movie release. Still, there isn't a set over $60 in this line, and there are usually one or two per movie.

I think the way they did it was the best way to DO IT - not that it should have been done, but all at once was the way to go. So we can collect the new colors all at once and repair the damage as quickly as we can.

I still think that mixing them and keeping ALL colors is the best route - mixed gray/blay castles would be kick.

Because they have to. Choking on small parts, guns, swords... they can't be sued with an age suggestion.

Ooooh, and those gold coins would look lovely if you cemented them to the top of a table in an undulating pattern to reflect the pattern of the wind!!!

I always thought a Religions of the World theme would be really cool. A mosque, a synagogue, a church, a Shinto temple, a Buddhist temple, etc.

I agree, LEGO has infracted upon other lines with BIONICLE, but I consider the COMPLETE FAILURE of their 4+/Jack Stone lines to be worse than BIONICLE - at least BIONICLE makes them money to heal those failures.

But it'd be really effing SHINY.
