  1. Awww, the tiny Parakeet Chick looks amazing and cute. Many think Parrot (and related Birds) Chicks look ugly, but i like them. And that large Parakeet is gorgeous. How did you manage to build the Connection of the larger Birds Tail to the Body so it won`t break off?And can the Heads be turned (maybe with a Turntable Piece or some simple Lego Technic Mechanism) or are they just build angled?
  2. Hahaha those Bootlegs look hilarious.Spiderlady with Speakerphone and Bigfoot with a....what is this?A Glue Gun? :D And look where the Gargoyle has it`s Wings. Man these Guys are so badly made it`s almost adorable. By the Way,what`s written on the Baseplates?
  3. Walkers are always great, especially if they are arachnid shaped like yours. I bet those Claws at the End of each "Foot" gives the Walker a great Grip on Terrain. And it looks like the Legs are completely posable in pretty much every Way you want.
  4. Sweet Sarsaparilla, what a great Classic Space MOC. The overall Proportions are great and i love the Wings / Treads Combination. Agreed!Besides that,if the Wings get damaged from Space Debris or a bad Landing you still have a Chance to get to the Homebase and fix the Mess.
  5. Looking good.Fits perfectly the regular Lego City Lineup and one need to look twice to not confuse it with a Model from a Retail Set. and it looks like you have enough Bricks to build an entire Fleet :D Keep em coming.
  6. @ikonero: Thanks man,it worked perfectly.I just had a look at the Parts List and it seems like it can be build with very common Bricks.Guess i will have to Print out the List and visit my favorite Lego Shop :D Have a nice Weekend and keep on MOCing.
  7. That is an amazing Build my Friend.Love the Mixture of Classic Blacktron Design and the modernized Style with all the SNOT Techniques. Any Chance for releasing the LDD Files?
  8. Okay, and for the real 4 dimensional Feeling hidden Employes throw Lego Bricks at the Audience?
  9. Ahhhhh "Facepalm"....!I`m feeling so stupid right now.Neverthought about that it`s meaning the actual Steps....argh.Of course it works now. @bublible:Whoa,your new Materials Preview looks amazing, there is even that grizzly structure on the Roof Slope Piece Just installed the Sunflow Mod and the Materials from the first Page of BR,i guess the Materials belong into the Mainfolder, not the bin, right?
  10. Thanks guys, i'm glad you like it. Cool, can't wait to see what you will use the Cockpit for.
  11. Wait a Minute....there are Mods to make Seams and Logo on Studs visible? *whispering* tell me more... The Bluerenderer is by the Way a very cool Tool.It is easy to use (even for me) and the Results look amazing. But i also have a bunch of Questions or maybe even Bugs. Shiny silverish Parts tend to look kinda blurred, like in this Picture (see the yellow Cars Exhaust and the tourqoise Cars Rims?) -Renderings from below always turn out black. Is it because of the "Groundplate" like Grid of the LDD? -The Render in angled Steps Function is really cool, but it seems i can`t change this Setting.I thought the Settings are in Degrees but it always stays at 30 and so the Renderer makes many Renders from slightly rotated Views.Would like to make Renders per 90 Degrees for example.
  12. I`ve been always a Fan of those classic NYC styled Row Tenements. That Lego Elves Fence is really a unique Part that fits in very well with classic Architecture. It has also a certain Art Nouveau Feeling...just imagine it in Combination with beige colored Bricks as Part of an Art Nouveau Building. Also that`s a clever use for those grey Canopy Parts.
  13. This futuristic scifi-esque Bread Truck was inspired by a 1950s Drawing of an "Instant-Bake" Bread Truck: I tried to get the overall Shape of the Baking Compartment into a slightly futuristic Silouette by using Slope Pieces, Grills and Plates. This was more or less my first Experience with the LDD or MOCing...maybe i will even make a Real Life Version of it.This will need quite a good Combination of weird Parts in interesting Colors.... The Front Half was inspired by the Lego Separatist Shuttle but with different Frontlights and sloped Sides. And yes, those are Laserguns...just in case someone doesn`t want to pay for his Insta-Bread" : The Undercarriage is pretty unspectacular, just some Plates to hold everything together: The Rearview looks bulky and tough with Taillights peeking through the Rear Bumper: For aestetic Reasons i tried to avoid visible Studs on the Roof: Always keep an Eye on the Pressure,no one wants a Flour Explosion. The Grill Flaps can be folded up while on Tour:
  14. Thanks man.And you are right,it`s nothing too special, the most important Things would be the Miifigs.Well, seems like i can add some orangy brown Slopes, brown Dish a a few Plates to my Stash :D
  15. Hey guys, hope this is the right Section for my Pics. As i have understood the LLD Rules,MOC`s made with the LLD should be placed where physical MOCs would be posted with the fitting Theme in Mind (Star Wars MOCs in the SW Subforum etc...) So i tried myself on a bunch of simple Hotrods.Nothing fancy or with amazing Buildingtechniques but i think they are looking okay. I just started working with LDD and MOCing in general... The Cars a based on classic Ford Model A Hotrods, including a Highboy,a Convertible and a cool Surfrod with impossible Colors... So,what do you think of these Creations?
  16. Today i got this...well,pile of connected Lego Bricks. It seems like something from Star Wars,a Droid Hover Tank or something like that, but i can`t identify it.I know there is a lot of Stuff missing and it might be raided for Parts but it would be cool to know what i am raiding here.Maybe if not too many Parts are missing i will restore it......
  17. Amazingly detailed Sky Crane. How long did it take to build and come up with the overall Design and Functions? The Helicopter looks definately like something straight out of the Thinktan from TLG
  18. Hey,the 12th Doctor with Sonic Sunglasses and Guitar?Let`s just add a Tank to this Set and that weird Snakeman (btw, that was somehow the most overexaggerated Scene in the whole New Who Scene ever, right?I mean good old Doctor riding on a Tank, with Sunglasses and Guitar....weird but cool) And Missy as a Minifigure? Can we even handle that much awesomeness?Na,would be cool to have her but also the old Incarnations. I`m thinking that the Doctor Who License with all that 50 Years History would be a great License for Lego. There aren`t that many noticable Vehicles in the Show like in Star Wars, but many interesting and cool Places to turn into Playsets.
  19. Well, over the last few Weeks i bought a bunch of Stuff from Lego SW,but the most recent Thing is the Polybag AT-DP.It is so cute,i can`t resist. The only Thing that`s confusing me why they hid a trans red 1x2 inside the Mainbody where no one can see it?I know the Bag contains two of them, one for the Window and the second one to hide inside the Walker... The red Pickup was also from Yesterdays Visit at the Toy Isle :D
  20. I`m also closer to my Goal to own all Minifigs from Series 14. Went to the Superstore today and pulled two Polybags from the Display. One is the Zombie Businessman (Yesss, finally) and the other one is the Gargoyle.Love that confused Look from the Zombie and the broken Glasses :D
  21. Man i really wish i had some of your Polybag touching Skills. After a few Rounds of squeezing and turning around Minifig Polybags i finally give up for Series 14.I have most of the Minifigs i want and a few more i didn`t want but still like. Some of my favorites are still hiding somewhere and instead i get Tons of Guitar Hero Frankensteins.Seems like the most common Minifig from Series 14 to me. Still want the Zombie Businessman (or is it just a regular Businessman who is very tired and burned out), the Plant Guy and the Witch. Sure,i could harvest double Minifigs for Parts and Accesoires but that just doesn`t feel right...
  22. Well,i couldn`t find a similar Thread for this Topic so i opened on by myself. If there`s already one similar Topic buried deep in the Bowels of this Forum, then please forgive me and move this Topic to the existing Tread. So,where to start. As many other AFOL`s,i started my Love for Lego bck in the 80s when i was a Kid.Still remember many Details of the little Town i owned. As always, the Dark Ages were coming on me and i totally forgot about Lego and my Dad sold all the Stuff for the Renovation of my Room. Few Years ago i got my first Contact with Lego.A fellow Member of a Toycar collecting Forum showed Pictures of the newly introduced Minifig Series. I tried to resisut it only stayed that Way for a limited Time. I always enjoyed looking at the recent Lego Sets and the cool Details on the Minifig Sets but still avoided buying anything Lego related.I already spend enough Money for my other Collection so buying Lego was a No Go for me. Fast Forward to this Year. Lego tried everything to get my Attention and finally did it when releasing the Simpsons Minifig Sets.I`m a Simpsons Fan since the beginning and so i just couldn`t resist buying the Minifigs. Having a new Job is cool, even if it is something like working at a Charity Shop. One Day a Box full of old Toys and stuffed Animals was donated.Me and a fellow Workmate were sorting through the Stuff when a small Paperbag dropped on the Floor. Inside the Bag wwere the Remains of a small Lego Spaceship.I kinda felt sorry for the Pile of Bricks and took it Home.Luckily the old Instruction was included and after a few Minutes of building i noticed that one Part was missing and another one broken. Then i remembered we have a tiny Shop in my Hometown that buys and sells old Lego and Playmobil Stuff.Always peeked through the Window of the Shop but never actually went into it.So i took a deep Breath and walked in.The Owner is a nice Lady and within two Seconds she got the right Parts to complete my tiny Spaceship (6887 Allied Avenger). Totally fascinated by the Shop i bought the Spare Parts and two Star Wars Speeder Bikes. And now,two Month later i have a small Collection of Star Wars Sets, late 80s Space, the Western Wild Waters Village, one Ultra Agents Set ans Series 1+2 Simpsons Minifigs and Series 14 Minifigs. And now i am fully infected by the Lego Virus, super exited for the upcomingReleases and always on the Hunt for a good Catch. That`s my Story, what`s yours?
  23. Wallace and Gromit Sets and Muppets Sets sound amazing Would definately buy most of them.Maybe the Muppets Theater made in the way as the cool (and expensive) Creator Buildings. Another cool License i can think of would be a Gravity Falls License.I can think of many possible Sets: -The Mystery Shack:Hidden Basements,Secret Rooms,Trapdoors and all kinds of Details like the Giftshop etc, -Grunkle Stans El Diablo: Stans red Car with printed Money Slab Pieces in the Trunk, some Tools and the Squadcar from the local Police to chase him, -Gnome Chase: Mable and Dipper fleeing from a Gnome Monster in a GolfCart. The Monster could have Gnome shaped Flick Missiles, etc... Many Episodes could be made into Lego Sets with quite a low Cost into Development because they can use many elements from other Sets with Traps, hidden Things and cool Mechanism.
  24. Muahaha...laughed my megablocks off. BTT:I`m super exited for the Doctor Who Set.I`m a Whovian for a few Years now and always thought it would be cool to have the Doctor`s Adventures as Lego Sets. This thought even started WAY before i started collecting Lego again. Sure,60 Euros is a big Price but i think it`s worth it. The only concern i have is where to put that Weeping Angel?I definately need to build a Holding Chamber with mirrored Walls :D Speaking of the Angel, since i`m not yet fully integrated in the whole Lego Scene (like naming all those Bricks, knowing all Abbreviations etc...) are the Wings poseable?Looks kinda weird with the Wings always stretched out to both Sides.Mostly the Wings are just folded behind the Back in a resting Position. About the Pre-Order Thing:I know it`s frustrating if a rare and sought after Item is sold out but it also reduces kinda the Fun of the whole "Hunting" Thing, right? I just hope to get my Copy of the Set and trust in TLG to have enough Sets in Stock to satisfy everyone.I mean the TBBT-Set is still for sale. Don`t get exterminated....
  25. When i started collecting Lego two Month ago i also thought of just sticking with one or two Themes.Well, that escalated quickly because my tiny Collection now includes Star Wars (most Sets i have are actually Star Wars), Ultra Agents, Classic Space (Blacktron I and II, Exploriens), Wild West and Lego Technic. Of couse there are also many Minifigs floating around like the Simpsons Minifigs and the recent Minifig Series. So i guess staying with one Theme didn`t end well, right?
