Studded is well gone lol bit early for this tread but sure hey we can all look forward to something new,Alsos 1h stuff doesn't interest me as it seems more focused on the younger age group with small manually operated models. -

I taught blackbird or some of the experts on here would have made a rc version of this,it's weird there all keeping very quiet :) when 8043 came out last year there was great mocs and changes made.

I see this set is available from Argos Ireland from Wednesday the 3rd :) it's very unusual tho that Ireland's leading toy company smyths still doesn't even have it listed on there site yet :( cost in Ireland is €199 which is quiet expensive, Lego 8043 last year here was €169,

What speed or torque would u have using this gear option and would u be running an XL motor directly onto the output shaft from the original engine in the unimog?if so this will be quiet an easy mod!

Replace which 16t gears,will an xl motor fit where the engine is do u think?

thats what i was thinking is removing engine and putting an xl in there but would it not need to be geared down?

Has anyone made an attempt to r/c this yet,it would make the ultimate offroad vehical with its 4wd any suspension,would it be easy just add a motor for driving or would it need to be geared down?

Very nice ,I think black panels would look nice,what do u think of the unimog overall?has it been worth the wait?have u any plans to motorise it ?

I got the catalog for 2011 in Tokyo and the unimog has the biggest picture,after all it is the flagship,them pics above look all wrong. -
