Will the unimog have an air tank or is there any need with a pf compressor?

As ye have seen in other tread iv added pf compressor to 8049,I'm very impressed with this setup and really changes my thinking on pneumatics, Everyone loves the famous set 8868 but yet not to many are praising this set with the pf added,just wondering why as it's the same principal as 8868 which we never taught we would get to see again,few things I would like to know are,is this the same small pump used in 8868?does anyone think this pump+pf set up will be what's used in the upcoming 8110 unimog or will it need 2 small pumps or longer stroke to run more functions?and last is does anyone have a picture of the compressor setup from 8868? Iv just added the PF set to 8049 and it works great,the little compressor is a great idea and fairly smooth too,makes me look forward to 8110 unimog even more now :)

I'll rebuild it with pf and see how it goes,can Lego not bring out some sort of valve to limit airflow to make pneumatics smoother,also let's hope the 8110 works better and has some new pneumatic parts to cure this!

Yes ur right it does come with instructions to ad power functions,And it comes with the small pump too,did u not know this luder?

Has anyone added power functions set to this,I have my 8049 back in it's box but I'm thinking of rebuilding and adding my pf set from my 8265,I'd like to do it as iv never seen a compressor in use in technic as I never got the ultimate 8868 all them years back,it might also give an insight to how the new unimog will work,my question is does both pf and 8049 work well together and because were starting to see pneumatics return is this new simple compressor set up efficient?also we have never seen the blue air tank used in many old sets how come?I hope 8110 will have air tanks too!

I bought this set a week ago and built it tonight,normaly I buy large sets but as I have them all I said I'd buy this :) I just want to say for it's size it's a great set and a really nice build too, recommend it to any fan out there ;) it has nice functions packed into it and will look nice beside my other construction models.build time was about 3 hours taking my time.
