  2. I'm happy now,I started building my plough today from other sets I had and it worked out a treat :) basically I used parts from 8049 and used the rear tipping bed from 8264 and had to make minor changes to a few parts , it's perfect and it's also yellow so looks good
  3. i need most of the parts to build the plough for 8110 but i do want the panels in orange rather than grey if possible, there is a inventory here somewhere for the plough.im also looking for 2 XL motors and 2 ir recievers!can anyone tell me is it possible to buy all parts off bricklink of one person?
  4. ok this is getting quite frustrating,i was just onto lego on the phone and they said with the amount of parts i need i will need to order online,so i went to order online and most of the bricks i searched are not coming up at all it seems to be all old bricks, can anyone help as i want to get my plough built in orange.bricklink can also be frustrating as u cant seem to buy all parts off the one person!!!!!
  5. What colour panels do ye think I should order for my plough, red/yellow or orange? I'm thinking yellow but not sure!
  6. In what way were u disappointed as most or 99% of people love it so I don't understand what u mean,iv got 8258/8265/8043/ and this is easily the best :)

  10. I really like this idea! How does it drive and with gearing down the hubs it should all work well, did u motorise the steering yet or have u any ideas yet? I like the idea of not messing around with the original design, thank u and I'll be watching ur progress
  11. Don't worry about it cause it's works great
  12. Can this not be done while keeping it 4x4?
  13. I agree, people are years asking for the return of pneumatics and now there complaining lol, this ia a great set and yet people have to mess around with it and give out about faults that I don't even see,it's hard to please anyone these days,Lego did a great job so it's a big bow from me ;)
  14. Do u not think the unimog stands out?I think they try to stick with construction vehicles as it's what they do best,I don't have cars ether but I'm considering getting this years car as it's big and will be a change from the norm for me,maybe a Xmas present from my wife :)
  15. I wonder is it possible to motorise the unimog with out messing around with the original design to much,a simple easy way and been able to keep it 4x4 too
  16. No and I had no tank ether so I just bought one lol
  17. Why are they changing them and why has my unimog the old ones so?
  18. I do have some off the parts from the log loader like all the pneumatic parts so I'll make a list of what I need then and contact Lego, would ye stay with original colour sceme for the plough?
  19. Can someone tell me what was the story with the rumers that the compressor was faulty in 8110?did they revise the pump?also there was new type gears made for 8110 with no teeth, why does my unimog have the old type gears and does it matter?see link below! http://technicbricks.blogspot.com/
  20. Thanks, can I order all the bits I need over the phone or do I need to do it on line?it could be a long phone call lol It's a pity they didn't sell the snow plough as an add on kit!
  21. Just add an air tank, also I'm using lithium batteries which are very light so no weight issue :)
  22. What's the easiest way to get the parts I need to add the plough to my mog , does anyone on brick link sell the whole parts kit together or do I have to buy all the parts off whoever has them,it's just a pain to get different parts off diff people if u know what I mean! What's the easiest option?also what colour would u have ur plough?
  23. Iv just finished my 8110 this min and there the gears that were in mine too and there's no problem, also I want to say that my steering works fine and my axle is not out of line, also my set does not lean to one side so I don't know where all these flaws that people are coming up with are coming from
