    Oh dear lord. On the one hand: yay, Condiment King! On the other hand: boooooo, stud shooters! I can only hope they use the recolored Squishee cups in the final version, but my hopes aren't high.

    I was talking to CM4Sci about this. He sent me the pic and asked if I knew whether it was real or not. I told him I don't remember seeing a carrot suit, but that doesn't mean there isn't one. It's been a long time and I don't have a eidetic memory. Turns out it's just a custom. A very nice looking one, though.

    Yeah, it's a bummer. Especially that Kanye-lookin' Joker. But hey, I guess we could still hope for a FaF Dance Party set in wave three. (Yeah, right.) Oh, and to be crystal clear, by "FaF", I'm ONLY referring to the characters dressed in white. Please feel free to read into that

    If I had to guess, I'd guess that the FaF closing sequence designs were created far later in the production, sometime after the CMF figures were finalized. Because there will be no FaF whatsoever. The first part is a guess. The second part is not. But you can add the Wonder Twins! (I don't know if Gleek will be included, but...they wouldn't deprive us of that, would they???)

    That is not correct. No one said a lot of these are in this series. I actually don't think ANY of them resemble these particular figures. The gist is that a number of that artist's past designs have been produced as similar minifigures. You're misreading this situation.

    So would I, but that's all just baseless speculation. Is there a speculation thread for TLBM or would that just be the regular DC speculation thread?

    It isn't cancelled. We still have a wave coming out, with plenty of new stuff to be added. But that doesn't mean it won't be cancelled before Year Three. Only time will tell. I don't think Fern's addition changes anything, though. In fact, we KNEW we wouldn't be done with Adventure Time, since part of the level is only able to be completed using characters from the upcoming wave, so it's still clearly rooted in the plans for Year Two. "Rooted", +1 for plant-based pun.

    At the time this information was acquired, all of this was very preliminary. Actually, Killer Moth is the only one that I kinda hope changes. I'd love for him to not be in it, but as it is, I guess someone thought his helmet/face combo was different enough to warrant a new version. C'est la vie.

    Why did I just pay five bucks on BrickLink for the first version of Killer Moth? I could've gotten him cheaper by a dollar soon enough. Blink blink blink. Blinkety blink blink blink. (Yes, that may be my new favorite phrase.) As for Harley's truck and the cannon in the Batwing, it seems clear to me that they belong together. I haven't seen that set, so I don't know for certain, but if it isn't the case, it will be a glaring missed opportunity to provide additional selling-points to both of those sets. LEGO loves doing that, when they can. Which isn't to say they haven't ever missed that opportunity, because hey, nobody's perfect. The cannonball outfit though, from the Making Of book, that's where I have my doubts.

    Kids love Batman. I can easily foresee him being included in every wave. Same with Spider-Man over on the other side. That isn't inside info, just an outlook based on years of "evidence".

    But...allowing the designers freedom to create new designs for digital media IS letting them do what they wish with digital content. Tying them down to only existing designs and figures would be restricting them. And it's something they allow for (nearly?) all of their games. Regardless, though, this isn't really the place for the discussion, since we know these won't be coming for series 18. Or at least some of us know that.
