  1. I do like the movies but there's way more potential with a original storyline because they can use characters that other companies may own the film rights to. Making it MCU Avengers restricts it quite a bit.
  2. An affordable Simpsons set would be great but not another expensive one. It would be nice if the Simpsons range had at least one £50-£80 set.
  3. I hope Skye/Daisy Johnson will be in the game. And Fitz and Simmons would be nice too.
  4. Why couldn't they have made this the videogame storyline instead of basing it on the first two Avengers movies and a few other MCU films? I think the concept of an original storyline is much more exciting than seeing an adaptation of films in LEGO.
  5. I'm surprised at that. The images of the box make it look like they count the Daleks as minifigures.
  6. Eh? Clank has always looked like that in the games. Why? You've said it yourself: it's an animated film. It's not supposed to be realistic. To me, Ratchet & Clank has always been 'cartoony'. Captain Quark is like he's stepped right out of a Looney Tunes cartoon and in my opinion, it works. You can hardly complain then if a movie based on something you've never actually experienced yourself doesn't look good. This film isn't for you, it's for kids and those of us who have played the Ratchet & Clank games.
  7. I was counting the 11th Doctor, 12th Doctor, Clara, Dalek, Dalek and Weeping Angel. I'm sure LEGO probably count the two Daleks. They'll be fine. Just use their imagination and have Amy represented as a rubber or something.
  8. I voted for the 4th Doctor and basically every 10th Doctor companion apart from Martha. Martha was a misfire by RTD IMO.
  9. Sounds so cool. If it wasn't so expensive, I'd buy it. They should do something similar with Shaun of the Dead only smaller and more affordable. Imagine being able to build the Winchester and play with minifigures of Shaun, Philip (Shaun's Stepdad. He could have an alternate zombie face.), Ed (maybe also with alternate zombie face) and Liz (Shaun's girlfriend).
  10. It's already technically six minifigures; whilst Amy would have been nice, I don't think she was really needed anyway.
  11. I wouldn't really recommend watching a videogame movie to get into a videogame anyway. You'll benefit more from any videogame film if you've played the videogame first.
  12. Yep. It's not a joke.
  13. I know but the difference there is that the 12th Doctor is the current Doctor therefore they need him there to tie it in with the current era.
  14. Let's face it: they were never going to make it a set that doesn't feature the current Doctor. It wouldn't make sense because it wouldn't tie into the current era.
  15. Wouldn't surprise me. I bet there will be sets based on the reboot.
  16. It looks very nice and I love the Venkman minifigure, although £350 still seems like way too much IMO. It looks more like a £80 set.
  17. Amy only appeared at the end as a hallucination though.
  18. I'd say Transformers and TMNT were more of a gamble though. Ratchet & Clank already has the ingredients to make a brilliant animated film.
  19. I think you'd kind of need 10 and 11 too. Wouldn't make sense to do a set based on a multi-Doctor adventure without every Doctor in the story in it.
  20. Oh look, someone who purposefully ignores the 'buster' part of my username so they can participate in the daily online activity of name-calling. I'm just saying you can't assume something is true before it's actually officially announced. That's how you end up disappointed. And yes, I do like Ghostbusters; my criticism of the set is the ludicrous price instead of something more affordable like £80.
  21. And Amazon is a large online retailer, yet their French site listed a Crash Bandicoot PS4 release which isn't happening. People do make mistakes.
  22. Yes but who's to say whoever put the listing up isn't doing it because they heard the rumour? What about the listing for Crash Bandicoot on PS4 which was listed on Amazon's French site? Is that real too? Because an announcement never came for that.
  23. Character Building released minifigures of all the Doctors at the time (11). I expect if LEGO turn Doctor Who into a full range, we'll at the very least get a 13 Doctors Collector's Set featuring every Doctor in minifigure form in TARDIS packaging akin to what CB did with their minifigures.
  24. I don't see why they wouldn't personally. Everybody loves a bit of nostalgia currently and as I said, they'd only have to slap the Doctor Who brand on it for people to buy it. Also: BBC Worldwide have released classic series DVDs before and the current Complete History books also cover the classic series so clearly the BBC have no problem with classic series merchandise.
  25. Who needs a sword when you can have a spoon? Robot of Sherwood is a hugely under-rated episode of the show too.
