  1. I could imagine LEGO Doctor Who having at least three hub worlds that can be accessed via the TARDIS: London, Gallifrey and Skaro. All three perhaps with this time mechanic you mention, only more with time travel. Perhaps you pilot the TARDIS to different planets in different time zones? Whatever they do, it would be by far the best LEGO game ever made. Simpsons would definitely work. The LEGO Movie's humour was very similar to that in The Simpsons. I don't think Scooby Doo would work for the reason you state but I see no reason why Ghostbusters couldn't. You could have the original Ghostbusters, the 2016 female reboot Ghostbusters, Louis Tully, Dana Barrett, Zuul, Terror Dog, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Slimer, Annie Potts and Walter Peck to list a few examples. That's 16 characters right there and that doesn't include many of the ghosts, the receptionist in the reboot and any other characters who appear in the 2016 film.
  2. It would help make this more LEGO Marvel Superheroes and less just LEGO Marvel Cinematic Universe, though.
  3. There's already one on the App Store.
  4. I very much doubt there will be a new story campaign next year and if there was, it wouldn't be an update but additional DLC. They'd want to charge for it.
  5. That's exactly why The LEGO Group should do pre-orders. That way they could work out the demand to at least ensure everybody who orders from The LEGO Store gets the set.
  6. The comicbook versions aren't.
  7. I love TT Games' LEGO games but let's not pretend it's not a business. I'll be shocked if there's no LEGO Star Wars game next year.
  8. How many consider destroying their own planet though and killing a lot of children in the process? If that's okay, then there's no reason why Sherlock wouldn't be. You're going to get ALL the packs? You must come from a family of millionaires if you can afford to buy the starter pack, three fun packs and a couple of level packs with your family buying the rest.
  9. I wouldn't feel daft pre-ordering an Ideas set personally. In fact, I'd rather have the option.
  10. Because you only need the Star Wars brand and people will buy it, even if it is only based on one film.
  11. Wish this was Marvel Super Heroes 2 instead of essentially a prequel to Marvel Super Heroes based on the MCU films. Hopefully they'll at least include some non-MCU characters in the game such as the Fantastic Four (comicbook versions, not the horrible 2015 reboot characters).
  12. My predictions: 1. LEGO Doctor Who: The Videogame (They've already said that's the plan in DWM should the sets succeed) 2. LEGO The Simpsons: Greatest Hits (Featuring LEGO versions of Marge VS The Monorail, Homer The Great and Bart After Dark among many others) 3. LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Almost a certainty) I don't think so. Surely the 'point' would be to test the waters?
  13. A 'Weeping Angle'? "Don't turn in a 360 degree angle. Turn in a 360 degree angle and you're dead. They're fast; faster at calculating angles than you can believe. Don't rotate your arms 180 degrees, don't turn your head 60 degrees and don't turn in a 360 degree angle!" What's wrong with that? It's very useful when things are limited edition. ...Which results in a mass panic on launch day and someone missing out. That's why pre-orders are useful: it guarantees you a copy.
  14. That's really stupid if so, especially with a set like this being released close to Christmas that lots of people will want to buy. They shouldn't release sets this close to Christmas if they're not going to let people ensure they can get a copy by pre-ordering.
  15. I'm confused. I thought you could pre-order the set on the LEGO Store but there's no 'add to bag' function.
  16. It also means anyone who enters that TARDIS interior with the 1st or 2nd Doctor will appear in black and white, I imagine.
  17. That's a nice compliment for Alex Kingston.
  18. Wouldn't be surprised if they release Silence In The Library River Song with her Sonic Screwdriver in LEGO Dimensions and The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang River Song in a Pandorica set.
  19. Agreed. Who really wants a yellow Donald Duck?
  20. I don't think you should. This is a limited edition set; as such, that would be extremely unfair to whoever loses out because you bought more than one set.
  21. Fingers crossed. Doctor Who and LEGO are perfect for each other IMO.
  22. Shame that review was written by a Moffat Hater. Would have been nice to see an opinion from someone who likes the current era.
  23. I wouldn't mind a Genie minifigure in this series actually. I think it could be done well.
  24. Got to admit, the Daleks look better there than in the promo pictures.
