  1. Really hope Flintstones does end up being a part of the game. I would definitely buy Flintstones Dimensions packs; miss watching the cartoons repeated on BBC2 late morning. I've seen videos where Madam Vastra and Strax appear but does Jenny make an appearance too?
  2. Yeah, considering they're doing a Ghostbusters HQ set based on the original films I will be surprised if there's no sets based on the reboot. Makes sense for LEGO to remind people of the original Ghostbusters first, then do sets based on the new movie. There must be a reason for the HQ to exist as a set in the first place for it to exist.
  3. I have to admit, 10 years ago I never thought there'd be LEGO sets based on Doctor Who. I always thought Back to the Future had a slight possibility though because the films are still very much popular and the specific future date Marty travels to in Part 2 hadn't passed yet.
  4. Shame, I'd like some LEGO chocolate. Although it may break your teeth a little...
  5. Yep, definitely should have been Matt Smith playing the role.
  6. Damn. For a minute then, I thought Peter Capaldi had been spotted filming a secret crossover cameo as the Doctor.
  7. More proof that Matt Smith should be playing the role. Eddie Redmayne looks uncomfortable in that costume, whereas it would really suit Matt Smith. He looks like the kind of character Matt Smith would play perfectly but Eddie Redmayne would likely struggle with (he's better at the dramatic roles as opposed to playing characters in fantasy films).
  8. Marty's parents: George and Lorraine Doc's kids: Jules and Verne Not sure about the sidekicks, though.
  9. I really hope this happens. The Doctor would make a brilliant Master Builder!
  10. A set based on the new Chinese Restaurant HQ that's supposed to feature in the reboot would be interesting.
  11. I didn't even know LEGO made advent calendars. Do you get any chocolate?
  12. Agreed. The Zygon Invasion was brilliant. I think Jemma Redgrave is better at playing Zygon Kate than normal Kate.
  13. I suspect this film would never see the light of day if the BBC owned K9 and not Bob Baker.
  14. It's a shame they didn't base Krusty's vehicle on one from the show. Why not the clown car?
  15. It's pretty good, although it looks a bit too basic IMO.
  16. At least Pixar don't rush their sequels like some studios. I'd rather a quality film than one that isn't quite ready for cinematic release.
  17. Whilst Gwen and Ianto do appear, they have very little bearing on the plot and you would only know they're from Torchwood if you've watched it. It doesn't really matter anyway; I'm just surprised there's a Torchwood reference in a LEGO game.
  18. The Torchwood under Yvonne Hartman was, not the Torchwood team led by Captain Jack (even then, Torchwood is a very tiny part of the show's 52 year history). Torchwood's appearance in The Stolen Earth/Journey's End wasn't that important (bar Captain Jack having a big role but he was a Doctor Who character to start with, not a Torchwood one) and it didn't specifically mention that Torchwood team other than having them there with Jack. This, on the other hand, specifically mentions Jack's Torchwood team and it is surprising because of the adult nature Torchwood now has that LEGO chose to add in a reference to the spinoff.
  19. Can't believe there's a reference to Torchwood in the Adventure World. Very surprising given that Torchwood was an adult drama therefore not kid-friendly like LEGO is. Also: I wonder how many people who play the level pack will realise the winking 12 in the LEGO title sequence is a reference to the 7th Doctor winking in the season 24 titles?
  20. To be honest, the character abilities aren't important to me. It's being able to play as characters I like I care about most.
  21. I'm technically an adult (19) and I still write a Christmas list. I dare say some other adults probably do too because it makes it easier for people to know what you'd like. Even if you don't do lists, there is no way you'd find anyone who'd be able to buy someone a £300 LEGO set as a Christmas present unless they're A: A millionaire and/or B: Won the lottery.
  22. You misunderstand. I mean this film's storyline being used for the videogame instead. The original storylines are way better than the videogames based on movie storylines.
  23. It would just be nice to have one set in each range within the £50-£80 price range. I hope if Ghostbusters is becoming a range now, there's at least one more set like the Ecto-1 around £44. The reboot Ecto-1 would be fantastic to go alongside the original Ecto-1.
  24. £50-£80 can at least be afforded as a 'main Christmas present' to many people even if some can't justify buying something straight away at that price. £120-£350 doesn't even have that (unless you get someone who asks for one present for Christmas and nothing else).
  25. I'm just saying: it makes more sense to play the game first, then comment on the trailer. I wouldn't watch a film based on something without looking at the thing it's based on first.
