LEGO Dimensions Discussion

It would be so cool if you could use the Midway Arcade Arcade Machine to access a secret area based on the Doctor Who Adventure Games. -

The Doctor makes sense because it's the same character, just different incarnations. The Ghostbusters definitely doesn't though and I'd go as far as to say it makes that trailer featuring a LEGO Egon Spengler minifigure on table misleading. -

Agreed. It made finding the quests much easier. -
Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...

Yeah, I'm not sure Chris Chibnall is a good choice. Should have been Mark Gattis and MG should have been told to leave Sherlock in order to do it. -

The problem with Gozer and Vigo is that they're not as well-known as, say, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and Slimer. That being said, I think there could be a chance of them being released A: if they have cool abilities and B: with the high-profile Ghostbusters will have this year given that the new film is coming out in July. We'll probably get Dana Barrett and the new female Ghostbusters first though. -
For all we know, they might have already been working on some.

Same here, I got both my Cyberman and Doc Brown. Now just got to keep my fingers crossed for LEGO to release Missy, Clara, Brigadier-Lethbridge Stewart and Captain Jack Harkness at least as future packs. -

I think if they bring back any old game franchise next year, it'll be LEGO Racers. It's about time for a LEGO Racers revival. -

These fun packs look fantastic, especially the Cyberman one (but then I'm biased!). Now I'll go back to being continuously annoyed at Amazon for not dispatching my Doc Brown fun pack even though they've promised it to be delivered tomorrow. Also, Just2Good: make sure you watch Doctor Who. Because you won't regret it. I recommend Boom Town as a starting point.- 527 replies

True. I'd still rather have them as separate NFC minifigures though. -

That's why you have their abilities related to their personalities. For example, Egon being able to hack. Just make stuff up. That's what they've done with Slimer's Slime Shooter. I'd rather spend more and have all four Ghostbusters in the game at once than have them all on one NFC base when there's no reason for them to be. The Doctor is different incarnations, the Ghostbusters are not. -

What a stupid idea. The Ghostbusters are all separate characters, not incarnations of Peter Venkman. They should be separate minifigures. -

I can't see it being classic-based; they'd have added it before if so. There has to be a reason why they weren't ready at the same time as the other TARDIS locations and that's why I think it's more likely to be series 9 content. -

I wonder if it could be content they're working on based on series 9? Could we be travelling back to the Viking Era? A possible inclusion for Gallifrey, perhaps? Or Trap Street? -

That's frustrating. Why do LEGO have to do boring stuff like Adventure Time as opposed to something more interesting like Flintstones? -

I can't imagine they'd give both Aladdin and Jasmine in the same series, so maybe one of them will be included and the other saved for series 2?- 4,155 replies

A Family Sedan that's the size of the Ecto-1 Ghostbusters set.

Problem is, if they made it a large set it would alienate a lot of the viewers of Agents of SHIELD. It's a show watched by a lot of teenagers and University students; people who can't afford £1000 sets, never mind £2000 ones.
