Poor Nya can't use airjitzu yet and there is no indication she has mastered spinjintzu already... although she has mastered her water elemental powers I think she has a lot of catching up to do.

Thanks. Show us your work when you've done it. I will revise this when I include Nya. If you're having a hard time seeing the ninja's that's truly my intent when I took this photo. It's also hard to see them all in natural light up-close and in-person. I initially have Cole in tan/dark tan 'soil' but I intentionally used more brown and black to make Cole camouflage easily.

I love this build more than the UCS version. I like how looks smoother even with the added greeblings.

Kudos to your efforts. I have tried using this technique on some of my custom minifigs. It seems that the most challenging is the printing on air vents. Hope to see the complete make over with every battle damage removed soon.

I got Jay DX from Bricklink as well... go for the used one from reputable sellers. I didn't pay so much for this even though it's one of the toughest to find brand new. Thanks! I am planning to put Nya on top of Zane so that it would appear Zane is inside an ice cave so that I can make a waterfall because how else can I display Nya's element but waterfall, right? Making a pond would be too bland. As for the variants... I actually want to remove all weapons. I have a bunch of weapons and armors put aside. There are ZX suits without armors. Only Kai ZX has armors in all ZX variants but Cole ZX, Zane ZX and Jay ZX has polybag variants without the silver/gold armor with scabbards. To even things out I removed the armor from Kai ZX. Eventually I will put back the armors when I have 4 each. Deepstone Cole has armor -- though it camouflages.

I don't have the Skybound sets yet. I only displayed all ninjas with unique torso. I didn't bother with the magazine 'limited edition' and the latest Lloyd from DK book because it is a rehash of existing torso and legs. For instance the 'kendo' versions are missing because underneath the kendo armors are the same classic Ninjago suits. Zane has 11 unique torso in display here because in Rebooted wave he has 3 unique torsos - Rebooted, Battle Damaged and the Stone armor. I also don't have Kai stone armor here yet because I haven' opened my copy of Target cube but by right Kai should have 11 as well.

Thanks pal. When watching the movie I felt that the bar is not that wide anyway... and with my current setup it feels very cozy. Considering that I want to do other MOCs next year I may leave it like this and just update some. Thank you.I don't have all the parts needed for Tiler's landspeeder but I am happy with the one that came with the Mos Eisley set. I actually didn't know what the Tiler's landspeeder was because I've only started MOCing around February 2015 to prepare for May 4th celebration this year -- I've seen that landspeeder built before but didn't associate it with any name. It is from concept, research to actual build. Sourcing slowed me down because I had to order over 80% of parts and minifigures internationally. On building the 'playset' alone -- I reckon only about 1 week total (average 2 hours per day).I also spent more than a month trying out different combination for different alien species - just 100% existing LEGO minifigure parts. I'm not a purist advocate but I am happy to report no modification or 3rd party parts were used in this MOC. For me it is a breakthrough because I always wanted to customize my minifigures. I struggled picking the 'right' parts because I don't like Chima but I ended up buying some Chima minifigures to build what I needed for this project. The only species I could not pull off with purist intent was Lutrillian so I totally left out the kinds of Solomahal. Maybe someone can suggest what headpiece I can use to match that Lutrillian look? Btw, I am excited with the new Duros head available in the latest battle packs so that I can update the 2 Duros patrons with a proper Duros head. My Flickr album linked in my first post has the full ensemble of the Cantina patrons listed with their names. I'm happy to take suggestions to make them better.

What a waste for the Snowspeeder. Only seen 2 seconds and I have to watch the movie for the 2nd time just to spot it. It appeared twice but the second time it was fraction of a second only and only the rear end was shown. The LEGO build is bigger than it should have been for sure. I would also love to have a new UCS Millennium Falcon. I think it is about time. Oh, and Kylo Ren's shuttle should have been darker gray if not black.

I'm getting dizzy counting the studs...but approximately it is 48+ studs wide and it is not far from what I have already -- but the big difference I see from what you made is that you didn't have chambers for your Bith musicians / Modal Nodes. I have 3 chambers allocated for the group of aliens where Luke got in trouble. Still unsure if moving it to 96 studs wide will give me that minifigure scale... after all I based those chambers to the standard size that came with set 75052. 3 months with dedicated time over the weekends

I wanted to display all the ninjas I have collected in their elements so within a day I put together this to parade all the ninjas (except Nya as I am unsure how I can fit Nya in this display) but I am happy how this came out after only spending 2-3 hours for this very simple MOC. Haven't put the stone army Kai yet.... and once I get the 2016 wave I will update this for sure. here's the plate without the ninjas --

I know it's like beating a dead horse already but after watching TFA, I felt compelled to post this. I made it like a playset because I have a 5 y.o. son who is into LEGO minifigures as well. The droid detector is also working (the flashing lasts for about 2 days without turning off completely) but I am looking for a way to use 3rd-party lights to add more LED lights. This is my attempt to recreate the Mos Eisley Cantina scene in episode IV and be faithful to how the characters should appear. I strived to put each characters in the location I believe is correct but of course there are many ways to interpret where they are because some of them moved around. So I just assumed the internet references I used are correct because after watching this scene over and over I am still confused where some of those aliens are located. Why work in progress? I feel that it is too small for 64x64 ... to be minifig scale. Should I move it to a bigger plate dimension? What I like with my current model is that each 32x32 plate are 'modular' so I can snap them on and off whenever I am moving them around for display. I only found those images with 600px by 600px size so I'm not sure how you can make out the details there. Are the new swords the 'collectible' items this time around? Also, is it possible that Cole wished to be human again and it was granted --- that's why we get 2 versions of him in this wave?

Wait, in the activity book description they mentioned about an island. What island? Also, who brought Nadakhan in the world? Could it be a reference to the 16 realms?

If I am an 8-year old kid right now I'll be so confused which theme to collect... Nexo Knights or Ninjago. If you put them next to each other Nexo Knights have that Tron vibe and it seems that the next line up for Ninjago has a bit of steam-punky pirate flavour.

The body printing, new hair, weapons and accessories are just too awesome to ignore. This is borderline adventure/action material in my opinion.

With all these brick-built dragon I am beginning to think that the original dragons have become oblivious already. Those older dragons were hardly even mentioned in the show. Well, I didn't like those moulded dragon heads anyway ... but what about those collectors who collected the original dragons. How do you feel about this?

I am still on the fence on this one because I wanted to get back to castle but I am also glad that it is not the classic castle that everyone is waiting for because that buys me time to focus more on other action themes and collect my backlogs since my darkages.... but this theme is shaping up to be a melting pot of different genres like castle - space - action - adventure... so I might end up collecting the minifigs and part out the sets for my action/adventure MOCs.
