  1. Please realize that I hink the third could be a new pump and not properly a pneumatic cylinder.
  2. And lower tipper. And crane is based on little different design.
  3. If I can get any conclusion from the very blurred images that I saw, I would say the MB also has new pneumatic cylinders and... longer ones!!! Now we have some very happy Technic fans! But remember these can always be an illusion or something that changes until we get to see the final artworks...
  4. There is already an abbreviation commonly used fir this - MOD
  5. Now playing with 8275S... Enjoy! At least that is in the original plan. "Programmable Firmware Add routine tasks and your SBrick can function without the remote control app." Much like old LEGO Control Center, I guess. Yes, that's "Test 2" in Android Profiles. Other custom profiles are only available for iOS, at the momment.
  6. Here a second video I made of my "SBricked" 8043 Motorized Excavator. A third video in the works!
  7. It makes all the sense! So we get a companion for this year's Volvo and gives a push on sales. Hopefully they will have similar scales. Remember the trucks on the LEGO World Copenhagen, that kids were playing with the Volvos? http://www.technicbricks.com/2014/02/new-media-from-legoworld-dk.html Just hope the Mercedes does not have less than 4 motorized functions. That's the minimum. And we should get a huge amount of panels this time... Wondering about which color will it be! A still hoping for a third set... Can it be 42040?
  8. Take care that the dialpad is tricky to control the tracks. Weird configuration and then works with 45º rotated offset. Better if you use Jurgen profile with separate sliders for each track. I've been suggesting a specific D-pad control for tracked vehicles, at SBrick community.
  9. If you're experiencing issues using your SBrick, you might have better chances of getting proper support if reporting these at SBrick Community forum. https://social.sbrick.com/forums
  10. I've never tried to use the Sets. doesn't make much sense to me. You can use only one profile at a time and you need to assign functions to each port you intend to use. Having multiple profiles installed can makes things a bit messy, because it will show the different functions (from each profile) altogether. I've already commented about that messy behavior at SBrick community. IMO profiles should be managed in a very different way. So I advise you to start with simple configurations (add one profile at a time) until you understand what do you have in hands.
  11. You can control a lot, regardless what you mean with channels. The channels concept doesn't apply here in the same way as with PF IR receivers where you can use 4 IR channels. With one compatible BT Smart Ready smartphone, you can control up to 16 SBricks simultaneously with 4 ports each. Thus meaning up to 64 ports. Such high number of devices may cause some interference and limit operating range a bit. At the moment I've just two SBrick prototypes to test (other two final SBricks on the way, which should arrive shortly). I managed to control them without problems with iOS SBrick app. So far had problems to control more than one simultaneously with Android app, but this is likely a bug in the software to be solved soon. Android app is in early development stage and still very immature at this point.
  12. I've done this video. You must wait for SBrick Team to release their online Profile Designer service, to be able to create your own profiles. According to them this should happen still this year, despite still in a very preliminary stage.
  13. You must wait on SBrick team to release their Profile Designer online service.
  14. The gearbox is used to switch function between opening doors and lifting the hatchback.
  15. So do I, guys. This was not made clear upfront this time. Was just about to announce the first Live Build today. This has to be postponed now.
  16. Exactly! But please realize some TNT are also regular green, and others Bright Green like 42039.
  17. No! That in 42008 was the "normal" green. The green in 42039 is brighter.
  18. And something I was not expecting. The green is not green... it is bright green! A first in Technic. Yes, I also got the sets today.
  19. Just got to know about the sad news, as I do not follow this part of the forum very often. This is really shocking and unexpected! We have exchanged some e-mails in the past and I don't know how old he was, but I believe his life was taken too early. Sergio, I wish you rest in peace! My sincere condolences to his family and friends!
  20. You will always need to make these through Photoshop or any other similar software, to make the background to look like white. A third lamp would help to remove the shadows you still have in your photo also.
  21. Yes, Philo is working to model the new design.
  22. Yes, I plan to start at TechnicBRICKs the TechReverse Challenge of 42031 soon.
  23. It also seems to appear at one of the Speed Champions sets (75911).
  24. It is not motorized from the box, but it is PF ready. So it is prepared and should include instructions to be motorized with 8293 Motor Set kit.
