  1. I've been thinking for a while if they're not the new snowmobile suspension arms.
  2. They can! It is just a matter of cost. The more you try narrow the color variance, the higher the production costs raise. And the variance/cost relation should follow something like an exponential curve. This phenomena affects some colors more than the others. Dark red is another example of an hard one. It also has to do with the suppliers, the amount of row material (ABS grains) that you acquire, etc. Raw material for some colors is also much more expensive than others.
  3. I'd not consider triangular, the track setup on 8275. Was thinking (although not mentioned...) about building machinery, hence I didn't consider the snowmobiles too, which have a single tread set instead of two. And definitely didn't remember the 42006 B-model... (kind of model without history for me...)
  4. I think it is the first time we will see a triangular shape tracked drivetrain, into an official set.
  5. Indeed, but I'm afraid history will continue to be what it uses to be...
  6. No, I'm not sure! Just I'd not bet it is.
  7. Yeah, just 1 pic, but not that one leaked... Maybe the remaining part of it. And it also has stickers on the doors and bonnet. And a couple of ribbed hoses.
  8. I meant 5x11 red panels, but forgot to mention.
  9. Tons of red panels, which are currently quite rare.
  10. I like the wheel offset, like in many RC cars. But a new element for a decorative disc brake, doesn't seem much inline with the discussion going in the original topic.
  11. That motor configuration is what one can see at the preliminary box image, as far as such low quality images allow to "see". Although I recall you that it is not the first time that we find out that preliminary box artwork, is not 100% accurate. I think we can assume there will be four motors and probably we could also assume there will be three different types of motors in the box. The exact configuration I think we could not be so sure until final artwork images without watermarks come up.
  12. Where does winch, tipper or pick-up suggest a Tow-Truck? Maybe Pick-up is not the best term, as we don't know yet the official name of the set in English. It could be any of these: Custom / Customized Truck, or Custom / Customized Pick-up
  13. Then it would fit into the standard flagship box...
  14. It is really nice to see LEGO used this way Dennis. Amazing!
  15. How come, if they were not too big for the smaller 8265? Eventually you may think they're a bit small. Not the opposite.
  16. That was my outdated wild guess... Unfortunately...
  17. For some reason the box is as large as the Town Hall (10224) box. There is something that won't fit into the standard flagship box...
  18. You can still download most of them from the links in the post below. http://www.technicbricks.com/2013/12/building-instructions-for-1h2014-lego.html Although it seems two of those links are not working at the moment.
  19. Made this small EV3 holiday bot, with parts from 31313 set only. It was inspired by a tin wind-up elephant I had in my childhood. Actions can be triggered showing colored bricks in front of the EV3 Color Sensor (quite difficult while in movement) or pressing pre-programmed buttons at EV3 IR Beacon. Photos at my Flickr account: .
  20. Or then some new sort of controller, like a new PF Control Center or some kind of simple programmable device... Really miss one Technic set like the old 8479 Barcode Multi-Set - The second best flagship of all time IMHO. Sooner or later something like this must return into the LEGO Technic assortment.
