  1. I'm actually excited for the avengers sets, but the spider man sets are super disappointing. Venom, doc ock and vulture again? I'm only looking forward to the mysterio set, just because I haven't gotten any the far from home sets. Honestly, I hope the next spider man has something new, but I don't know if I should expect anything
  2. Well, here’s how I see it. the head had 1. An eyepatch and 2. scruffy facial hair it reminds me of this face now that I think about it: https://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-4539511 biggest problem though, the patch had three straps, but I don’t know if that means much.
  3. Wait, if the head is from the Pirate Bay... That means this set is coming soon! Early 2020 here we come!
  4. I have a feeling the mech sets are comic based, but that the other two are endgame sets, mostly because one standalone set would be weird, and also because I think the mech sets are a different thing all together from the other three.
  5. But, if you read the statement lego released, they listed a few exceptions, one being comic-con exclusives (listed as "special events"). There is, however, no exception given to minifigures, and the statement goes to all products, which can be seen as a broader term than just sets. I put the link to the brickset article a few pages ago, but I feel like I should put it here again for context: https://brickset.com/article/43442/lego-pledges-to-stop-launching-regional-exclusives I think the idea of this being a watermark is plausible, like how old maps featured non existent cities in order to spot counterfeit/stolen maps, but really, who knows? I just hope Lego doesn't go back on their words so quickly...
  6. Here's the Brickset article on that: https://brickset.com/article/43442/lego-pledges-to-stop-launching-regional-exclusives Yeah, country exclusive minifigures seem to go against that..
  7. I Just realized that all three mech sets, including the spider man one, have almost the same amount of pieces. I think this is a new sub-theme of small comic sets like the mighty micros were, which also means thanos is probably a minifig and not a bigfig.
  8. Something really interesting I noticed, the Riddler copter in the set is the same build as the Joker copter in DC super villains. I wonder if the set was originally going to come withe the joker instead... Also, these new parts are super interesting, especially some of the ones in the bat cave. All sorts of saws, bar connectors, but they are only in that set. Weird.
  9. That’s why when I get my bricktober pack (on its way now!) I’ll be using some Nexo Knights armor piece. I think a recolor of any of those pieces in black/trans-red (or in this case just white) would look great! Sadly, no such piece exists, so I guess whatever I’ve got will do.
  10. Well, they’ve tried that with The Last Jedi... Did it work? No, but I think Disney is capable of trying it again.
  11. The compound sounds like an unused police station set just turned into an avengers set...
  12. The train definitely does have a transformation, there’s a few pictures where the front of the train is slightly opened up and it has teeth. I love how these sets can look perfectly normal, almost enough to just be city sets. Also, now that we have seen more of them, the possessed minifigs are awesome! There are more pictures of the diner, and in one of them you can see the possessed chef has four arms, garmadon style! The possessed prota potty with traffic cone legs in the bus set is also really creative, and also silly! I don’t mind the lack of actual ghost figures, these make up for it. This theme so far looks great, definitely will get something!
  13. Didn't the infinity war sets only have 3 sets in the manual too? I think you're all reading too deep into this. Now that I look, not only were there only three, but they were the three sets with similar price points to these: the weapon quest, the hulkbuster ,and the benatar. I am 100% percent sure this has nothing to do with exclusivity.
  14. It's on an account that literally only has one post, and it has different names for the other sets too, like war machine buster and ultimate quinjet....
  15. It's similar to some already existing pieces, but it is new. I can tell.
  16. Well, I thought it might have been a large sculpture of the set, but looking at it again, I don't think that's the case. I don't recognize any actual pieces. Oh well.
  17. Honestly, the only thing I want from any joker variant is this hairpiece in green:https://brickset.com/parts/6152549/mini-wig-no-102 That's all I need, and the rest is just icing on the cake! Also, if that batmobile pic is real, then I'm surprised yet glad that it seems to be 6-wide! It fits much more into standard city scale.
  18. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is the same site the winter catalog came from... After all, the name of that one was very Italian sounding. This also makes me think its the same one we have already seen. Plus, if it is the same, they already leaked pictures, so either they don't care or don't dare to do it again...
  19. Strangely, it seems to be a retail set, with the age range being just 10+. That speaks well for the price! (Hopefully). Also, my guess is that this is being displayed right now at London toy fair.
  20. I think that's just the variance in machine printing, the difference seems to fine to me. Now, which one is more "accurate" to the actual print? I guess we'll see that eventually. Edit: Just realized the iron legion had a similar print set up on their helmets to the new war machine, so that gives us a better idea of the final look.
  21. Are you sure? It look the same to me... I really hope this is just a variant, for like the quinjet or whatever,so that we still get the normal outfit. Heck, I'd say the same for all of the avengers. Well, at least they are using the bricktober head.
  22. There's pictures of Captain America's back and unmasked faces. It also shows the top of the helmet, which has wings on the sides! Why Lego waited until now to do this, nobody knows...
  23. But didn’t the unseen San Diego comic con trailer have a batman mech? I though I remembered that from all the descriptions of the trailer.
  24. Well, it could be Lloyd's character arc...
  25. Well, Garmadon is from the spinner, and most spinner figures are exclusive. Also, the helmet doesn't have the bone on it, but who knows! I hope its the overlord, because that would mean that for once the minifig I want the most isn't in the largest set. I wonder who some of the other figs are. In both the golden dragon and earth driller there are blank figs with silver and gold swords. Could be villains, could be anyone else!
