  1. I was already growing suspicious of her, but of course always leery of an unverified result - until she said she is the "town tracker" because that's just a scum thing to say. If you're tracker you're tracker not needed to say "town tracker" to be sure everyone understands you are saying you are town...classic slip-up there. Ah! Jailkeeper makes much more sense! The numbers were just not adding up to me with so many dead and so many visitor roles. I wrote a story once with a jailkeeper, such a lovely memory.
  2. Oh well that makes some sense but then ... oh wait i misread Karen's post. Sorry Karen! I saw "have" not "had". My bad.
  3. Woo! That's awesome! Vote: Autumn (fhomess) I am really curious as to how any of this is true. You yourself always say verify verify verify and yet I'm seeing nothing that points to a vigilante existing - and one in such a small group? Not inconceivable, but that would mean the person was successfully blocked and/or target protected every night so far? That seems pretty lucky on multiple levels. A blocker and protector? One of those has to be scum I would think in a group this size, don't you? I know we've had this argument in the past, that's the royal we as in 'group of players' not we as in specifically you and I. I recall something about a blocker being a scum role in some people's eyes? Not that these clubs have ever been "normal" or "by the book" anyway.
  4. That's why it seem such a pro-scum role, because it only appears to be there to sew confusion. Because I don't think role claiming on day 1 is the right way to go and doing it, especially with such a role as that seems very strange to me.
  5. I told you I had to get work done and would be back later. You post, i respond, and you post again while I respond. I can't reply to something you hadn't posted yet. I don't know if Kendall is scum or not at this point, she seemed scummy at the first day to me AS I EXPLAINED. I didn't think two people would have the same role and be on the same team, but now things look different. The first night I was unsuccessful, obviously, because the person I tried to visit was dead. Second night, no idea, but my guess now is that everyone has at least a visitor role and that we will always be unsuccessful on a visitation since nobody is ever home at night. It seemed like more than just one person was saying it at the time, I really didn't put that much thought into naming or not naming anyone in particular. You can try and tear down everything I say or "don't say" but we both know I'm not a knitter so you're no going to be able to rile me up.
  6. Contact people in private on day 1? No, never, you know better than that. I don't have any feeling if she is scum or not at this point, i already stated why I didn't believe her claim on day 1, but she isn't the major problem here. The knitting club needs be taken out at the head, get rid of the brains and the body will fall. I explained this on day 1 as well. I don't know if what I say is actually being ignored or if people are really this dense. I'll have to have time to respond to the rest because you posted a huge amount somehow while I was replying to your first question. I need to take care of some stuff that pays for all these books first.
  7. I didn't say anything about a bandwagon on me, are you panicking and mixing up your stories already? I plainly stated in the post you are replying to why I didn't believe Kendall. For godsakes. I think that everyone who doesn't have a "useful" role must be a visitor, it seems strange and very scum-leaning to set up this way but I've seen worse. Why am I not scrutinizing others? Because once we get rid of you, the rest of your team will become self evident and we can move on to reading another great book. You have not proved yourself a loyal book club member but have shown how willing you are get us all killed.
  8. That was an amazing bandwagon you formed, karen. I am surprised at how easily you got everyone to jump on poor Robert. Kept me around as the sacrificial lamb today? I never believed Kendall's initial role claim for one reason - that's the role I have and I didn't think there's more than one of the same role. Now I wonder if everyone has a visitor role at the very least. I tried to visit Becky on the first night and was unsuccessful, and Autumn last night and was unsuccessful. I would think, at this point that we can't visit someone who isn't home. So, Autumn, what were you up to last night?
  9. First of all - I did explain my vote yesterday very clearly and concisely at the time it was placed. Everyone seemed to have no issue reading it except for the two people I am most suspicious of. Interesting. All of that still holds true today, however I'm not quite as sure about Kendall as I am now about karen. So, for that reason I will end up having to change my vote. Second of all - I never accused you of anything, karen, and to type of a wall of paranoid text about it and form a group against me because you read into it that I was accusing you of something? Wow, that's pretty on point. Going on the attack and voting me with not even one word of private communication? Another ping, as we use to say. So, I was in this spot a while back - where I figured stumpy out early and was brutally attacked for it by the one person who everyone wants to instantly trust for no good reason. It's pretty much the way it goes when I'm right - if I am not lynched today, I am certain I'll be murdered. History repeats itself. Also, a pretty good plan to vote me instantly because then, knowing I hadn't accused you but was in suspicion of you, you could always say a vote against you was retaliatory. Even getting the penalty vote was a pretty good idea, so you could stay alive just one more day with the excuse that penalty votes aren't proof of being a knitter. Nice. vote: karen McMillan (Hinckley) Please though, fellow bookers, when I'm dead you must pay attention to my posts because I work only via logic and patterns.
  10. Because that early in the morning there wasn't enough to go on. I'm allowed to lean and read and learn and not blurt out random accusations first thing in the morning. My vote from yesterday will be my vote for today as well. Everyone who is now saying they would have voted for Becky to "get a lynch" is also suspect because that's a horrible idea. How many of us are there? 4? 5? The numbers are very low and every life matters. Exactly this is what I was thinking at one point, I can see it playing out a couple ways. If, for example, Karen is a knitter - she sees her partner (I'm taking a leap of assuming 2 on the team, but could be up to 3 and still be somewhat fair) didn't vote - she would freak out and then come to the conclusion that since Becky also didn't vote (as is common for Becky on first day), both/all team members could do exactly that: not vote and point to Becky as the reason they are not knitters just by not voting. It's a solid plan to a messed up situation for a team. Idea 2 - The people who didn't vote were just lazy and we are being steered by the knitters into looking at a pattern that doesn't exist. Just like the "it's a 3rd party killer" some of y'all seem to be trying to bandwagon into. I seriously doubt it for reasons such as: the killer is in the same outfit as before and there are way too few of us to make it any fun.
  11. It's interesting, even in this book club full of new faces, Becky still behaved the same as always and was still kicked out early as always. I would imagine that the reason she was kicked out was the reason she always is - the knitting club figured nobody would be protecting her since she didn't bother to participate in the vote. Looks like they were right this time. Way too many of us didn't vote yesterday. Every! Vote! Counts! If we are to save this club, we need to work together and not just disappear into a book halfway through the day. Come on people! So, I'm currently leaning toward our bananaman as being someone who's been in a lot of clubs in the past. Somebody who was pretty sure nobody was going to be watching Becky. I wish I had more than just suspicion at this point, I hope someone saw something helpful.
  12. I do not think your claim is true . Voting is never a joke. Never.
  13. Alright, looks like we have about 9 hours left. I have a cold, so I better vote before I pass out here. There are a few people that are rather quiet, which is concerning. However, I don't think that's enough for a vote against them right now. Somebody who has caught my eye as very suspicious though Role claim as a first post Voting on someone for no apparent reason, when questioned about it says it was a joke and everyone should have know Constantly beating the dead horse about her role being useless Nothing of substance being said, but lots of words Vote: Kendall Kane (Trekkie99)
  14. For the book club: yeah, pretty useless For knitting club: they can easily point to the person being "out and about" to frame them for a lynch, or talk a vigilante into targeting the innocent book club member. So for the person who has the role it's useless but it could be used for nefarious purposes by an enemy. At least, that's my take on it. I've also bee out for a while and could have flawed logic
  15. So you're complaining about someone complaining about your claim, then say we're running out of time when we still have plenty of time, then throw your vote on someone you haven't interacted with up to this point? This is more confusing than the initial uncalled for role claim. How exactly does a claim of a useless role make her a target for the knitting club? In a small book club like this, they probably already know who is with them and who is not. A seemingly worthless book club role like what was claimed is actually a very useful role for them and they would not want to kill her. Your logic here is flawed, possibly to try and confuse people but maybe you are just confused yourself? I am not voting yet because I am not sure who's suspicious statements are most suspicious. There is still plenty of time left today to actually think about things.
  16. This feels just like the new chapter of a book, confusing and rambling. So sad to see Brad gone, he was going to get some discounted shelving for my book collection. I guess I'll be paying full price now. What's this deal with Kendall though, why is she blurting things out like that already? We just walked in the door, maybe she could use a nice chamomile tea.
  17. Miranda Beal has arrived!
  18. Wow This whole thing is amazing. Great work!
  19. 1) Have you ever played Mafia before, and what's your experience? If not, have you read some of the games we've had on here? Yes, lots of exp losing. 2) Can you commit to the game timewise? yes. 3) What do you prefer to read? Books
  20. Sign me up. Right. Now. Make it so.
  21. Updated first post with the full layout video. Still looking for photos of the full layout from Brickworld and Brickuniverse.
  22. Ah man, we finally got a ST Mafia and I missed it. Looks good, Bob!
  23. Doggy Santa bringing me lots of Lego sets
  24. It "can" cause flicker. I haven't had trouble, but to be honest I do not use that lense very often for stop motion. My most-used lense is the 35mm Nikkor.
  25. I generally use a Canon Rebel t6i or 5D2 with vintage Nikon lenses. For software capture I use Dragonframe and Adobe Premiere for video creation. Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 Nikkor 35mm f/2.8 Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 Nikkor 105mm f/2.5 I just picked up a Logitech C920 webcam for quick films in small spaces, got it for only $25 on ebay so a good cheap alternative to hauling my big camera around. Haven't played with it yet, but it does come highly recommended. A great story is also nice but worthless if you can't manage the basics of animation. Not that anyone needs $1000s in gear, but most importantly learn the very basics of animating and storytelling. Here's some Nikkor lens reviews done specifically for brick films
