Mafia School: The Witchbreed Day II
Darkdragon replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Now that I'm all caught up with the current conversations, here's my take on it. RE: Wully I don't like the looks of all of this bandwagon voting for Wully. This is just what happened with Wife of Darth yesterday and look at what a horrible night we had? Yes, Wully has admitted to being a killer - but he has also said he will side with town tonight. If Wully can survive the night and help the town tonight, I think he deserves that chance and we could really use any help we can get. RE: Flanagan I am sorry to have voted for him, even though in the end it didn't matter. I wish he would have given a defense of some kind, it is truly sad another town was murdered in the night. RE: Wife of Darth It really breaks my heart that nearly everyone jumped on the bandwagon to lynch her yesterday. Yes, she was acting crazy and drawing a lot of attention. I think we can all agree on that. Instead of jumping on the next bandwagon of voting for the first person we see, maybe we should think back to yesterday and who started the nudging of the votes towards a townie. Today I think it would be better for us to lynch a scum then to lynch a neutral, though I admit that either of those is better than lynching another townie. Based on what was discussed yesterday, it seems to me that Franklin Holmes started the landslide against Wife of Darth. I could have misunderstood what he was saying, but that is the way it looks to me. Vote: Franklin Holmes, The Manciple (fhomess) I look forward to hearing your defence, sir. -
This is a really cool way to display your games and still be able to play them.

Collectable Mini Figs Series 6 & 7 Colour Scheme

Nobody has every said this. This thread is becoming the whisper game. -
This is just an idea, but I think it would be nice to have some type of very simple rating system on the quest list for readers to know how long the quest might last. For example some sort of star system where the number of stars is the length in real-life weeks the host expects the quest to last. This would be useful for people to only sign up for quests they believe they will be around to fully participate in. It could be very beneficial in the coming weeks when folks might be going on winter holiday. I'd think once we got past 8 stars, just use the + sign to indicate "8 or more weeks". Here's an example: Quest #1 lasted approximately 3 weeks. So in my idea a line would have been added to the description such as: Length: *** Quest #4 lasted just under two months. So (if Brickdoctor was expecting it to last that long) it would be: Length: **** **** Of course I realize this isn't going to be 100% accurate, but will be an educated guess from the QM at the time of posting. It would be helpful though I think when folks want to participate but maybe know they won't be available after a certain amount of time - then we could potentially avoid issues with heroes dropping out of quests. I don't recall thing being brought up before, but if it has I apologize in advance for resurrecting it.

Yep. I'd imagine we will see these bricks pop up in a lot of 2012 sets. Thanks everyone for the comments

Are you putting Food and Shelter about buying the LEGO sets you want? What's the point of a full belly if you have nothing to do all week?
-
Why wait? Buy some today with the coupon and next Friday with the sales.

As you have read already, great firetruck. I like the details and remembering to include the little cupboard/door on the side for the tools. Cop car sounds great, I love 50's cars (American cars anyway).

Thank you. She is only found in LEGO Champion (my least favorite of all the games for actually playing).

Excellent work. I like the tower and the river looks perfect. The prickly trees are great

Since it's likely this small project will be lost in the raffle thread, I thought I'd make a thread for it. It's not a huge epic build, but it was a fun little project and I wanted to share. No more hating those new brick-bricks for me.

Yep. I have picked up 10 or so Pyramid games @ $9.99 each. A few other games and I already had the whole Heroica line and most of the first wave games anyway. Thank you

Ditto. Also I am pretty decent at photography and videography. Horrible at anything music related, but can play Happy Birthday on most instruments after a few moments to learn the sounds of the instrument. I don't think any of my skills are very obscure though.

From what I can see, you are not being voted off in a landslide yet, as a matter of fact the last official count lists you in a tie. There is still time left to defend yourself. No votes are final yet, but time is marching along forward as it tends to do. -
Cinna walks into the Hall after the long quest journey. A bit defeated looking, even though they were successful, it never feels good to be manipulated. She heads first to the quest board to sign up for quests #14 and #16, then heads up to the bar to grab refreshment. Not knowing where else to go, as the Hall is crowded, she takes a seat with her quest 4 commander. "Hey Tomas, that sure was a rough battle, eh? I'm glad we all pulled through though. I do wonder if we made the right decision in the end, of course there's no way to take that back now. Even though he royally tricked us, it was pretty nice that Mr.Shawe forgot to take back those weapons he loaned us - or were they part of the payment? We've done so much traveling since I signed up for the quest, I can hardly remember now." She laughs softly.

A weary mage enters the marketplace, ready to spend some gold after her first quest. She first walks to the potion stand and notices the wonderful sale on grand potions, she stocks up on them. "I'll take six Grand Potions, one Pheonix Essence, one Tonic, two Smelling Salts please." She hands over the 170 gold and leaves. Her purse much lighter, she continues on to the Magic Wagon and spends quite a few minutes looking over the offers there. "Hmmmm. I want one of everything..", she checks her purse and sighs, "but I guess I'll only buy the Scroll of Sleep and Nimbus Broomstick for now." She hands over her last 100 gold and leaves happy with her new goodies.

Wait, I missed the eclairs? I did happen to find a piece of the strange puzzle, and I'm not sure if sharing is right or not but we'll never know what it is unless everyone shows what they have. Right? So here is my piece of the great puzzle, I hope it is helpful to town. For right now, I will Vote: Flanagan, The Whipping Boy (Flare) because he is saying things, just enough to not be the "unhelpful quite people". However, he says nothing of substance. I look forward to hearing his defense. -

Now who da Man? -
Another great Pokemon. I love it. You might want to look into using the ball/socket joints from Bionicle and Hero Factory (and used in many other sets).

Yes it does, if someone doesn't beat me to it, I'll get a photo when I get home tonight. -

Ordered from Shop@Home. I checked the local Toys R Us (still blows me away there is only one) last weekend and they did not have any of the new sets. I ordered from S@H last Thursday and the set arrived yesterday.
