"Well I think one shovel should do it for now, maybe we'll get lucky. We could split up again and 3 of us stay here to dig while the others go to the sauk but that will use another day and we really have so much to do. What do you all think?" -
Wow this is REALLY old and the ad agency admitted it was all done in art software (AKA Photoshopped)

Student Enrollment: Controlling Depth of Field

Your photos look good Doc. I would like to see the out-of-focus areas a bit more blurred but with your figures so close together, this might be impossible (depending on lens and camera you are using) without editing. I am happy to on part one and I look forward to seeing your photos for part two. -

Lot's of great info in there. I'm glad they are taking all of the AFOL comments to heart and addressing it. -
Yep, they are duplo http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=51732 and http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=54068 Well the tree was planned to be alone on top of the cave, but I ran out of time and wasn't able to finish the road/ground area - I didn't plan to leave plain baseplate there. Not sure about where you live but where I am from we see rocky hills that are all rock but will have one lone tree on top. It's quite a common sight in the Nevada Sierra mountains.

Mitgardia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Darkdragon replied to Sirens-of-Titan's topic in Guilds of Historica
My watchtower, the Early Warning Signal is posted. Hope it meets with your approval my fellow guilds-men. Unfortunately it looks like my mini-challenge entries will not be ready in time. -
On the front lines of the Mitgardian lands, stands a number of towers built by the combined effort of dwarf and man. The strong base is built of local rock cut into huge blocks. There is no entrance at the base, it is solid and is built to withstand any force from nature and enemy alike. The dwarves keep a small number of engineers at the tower to upkeep and repair as needed. They also guard the partially hidden path that winds it's way up to the tower entrance. The Mitgardian soldiers always keep a steady lookout for any trouble. The first level soldiers are armed with a bow or crossbow, while the second level are armed with longbows. If trouble is spotted, one soldier runs up to the top and lights the signal fire. [Large Images on Flickr] The nougat/brown tree, on top of the cave, is based on a design by SilentMode

These homes are beautiful. Some great parts use and clever ideas here. The whole scene is great, you've got a lot going on in such a small space and yet it doesn't feel cluttered. Excellent job.

Looking great so far. I'm excited for my turn to come one of these days. -
Thanks! :) Actually the fishtank is a printed part. It's a bead from a Belville pen http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?G=bead003pb030

Heroica RPG - Quest#14: The Family Recipe
Darkdragon replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Well it doesn't look like there is much left we can do during the day. We could wait for night to fall and rescue our new Metasimian friend, or try to get the scorpion and then come back to the city to rescue him and visit the Necromancer's shop. I don't think we will need to do this yet, but before we head to the Bog we should make sure everyone has at least one poison remedy if we can." -

While her comrades are talking to caged metasimian and unicorn, Cinna makes an attempt to slowly lead Marmaduc away from the area a few steps (by talking to him and slowly taking a few steps). "If only we had gold to buy your wares, but alas we are not so lucky. How long long does it usually take to tame a wild beast? I find it most interesting that you could capture all of these beautiful creatures and you look very uninjured. Do you find them all yourself?" -

"Ah ok, well thanks for the tip. Now about the creature you call "gorilla", in the cage. You know, the one you are working on taming. Are you sure he is a beast? We have a friend who looks very similar but is indeed not a beast and is as intelligent as you or I. " -

"Yes that makes sense, we can split into two groups for talking to the various people. I'll take Bartholomew with me to visit Marmaduc's Menagerie. You, Thormanil, and Bluto can head to another area. Thormanil will be your team leader until we meet up again. Where will your group head first? " -

"No problem.", Cinna smiles "I'm sure we'll find our way around. Thanks again." Cinna walks over to her team and shares the news with them. OoC: Sorry I didn't see that list until after my post. To her companions, "I think we should start with Marmaduc's Menagerie, she might know where we can find the scorpions as well." -

Before leaving the woman "Thank you for the information, it does sound like a dangerous place. Maybe my friends and I can purify the fountain and bring you some peace from the Wyvern. Do you happen to have a map of Salmanda or know where I could buy one?" -

"Thank you Thothwick for making the list. Should that be pulverized undead unicorn horn?" Cinna will observe the woman in the red veil head-dress before approaching her. Trying to time it right and not upset the stranger with intruding. "Excuse me ma'am, we are looking for Danab's Fountain. Can you help us with directions?" -
Oh nice! I've been looking for these to show up in stores since I saw photos last year (?) from Toy Fair.
