  3. Namyrra lets loose with an Earth spell. The gate groans and creaks, shifting a little bit on it's rusty hinges. When the creaking stops, the heroes can hear something that sounds like footsteps running on wet stone. PREPARE FOR BATTLE!   4. Eric fiddles with the lock and he hears a little click from inside. The lock is rusted but it does seem to fall slightly. After some struggling, he manages to get the rusted thing off the gate. He tries to open the gate, but the gate only rattles noisily. The sounds echoing down the corridors. Eric feels around on the other side of the gate, but there is no other lock, it just seems to be stuck.
  5. The group continues following the path South and after a short distance the hallway turns North again. When they round the corner they see a locked gate. Maurice tries to shine the light through and they can just make out a few hallway paths beyond the gate. With a little deductive reasoning, the group feels that the previous symboled wall is directly on the other side of the wall to the left of the gate as they look at the gate. There is also a symbol on the wall to the right of the gate and the path in front of the wall continues to the East. What will the heroes do?
  6. The heroes head onward. The tunnels twist and turn in all directions, surrounding the heroes with nothing but damp walls and the occasional sleeping bat. Just before the path takes a Southern turn, the heroes see a wall with one of the strange symbols. It appears to be pointing North, but the wall is surrounded by other walls on every side except South. Will the heroes simply continue on the path?

Eric tried to attack Bat C but since he had already killed it he robs the only remaining bat and manages to somehow wring 29 gold out of Bat A before squishing the life from it's body. RESULTS FOR ROUND ONE Namyrra vs. Old Bat - Critical Hit Eric vs. Bat C - Critical Hit Tesni vs. Bat A - Defended Counter Maurice vs. Bat B - Miss Namyrra lights up the narrow corridor with a well-placed spell, taking out the Old Bat and turning it into bat-jerky. The encouraged, angry Eric swings at the first bat that flies out at him. With his lightening axes blazing, he smacks the bat into the sleeping bats who never even knew there was a battle. One of the black bats swoops in to bite Tesni but she flings it away roughly with her sword. Maurice swings at the bat but manages to hit only it's shadow.   15. Great (and hilarious) review you guys. This set is really cute. I don't have any of the Architecture line yet but one of these days I hope to pick a few up. I've never seen the real place, so thanks so much for all the photos of both the model and the real thing. It's always nice to see the comparison right in the review.
  16. The heroes turn back, leaving the myseteries of the crimson symbol and dark path behind them. Just as they turn around the Timekeeper sounds it's alarm to notify them it is 11:00. The journey back takes half the time as the slow journey down the hallways the first time. They travel through the decaying corpses of the slime monster, but Eric hardly notices in his encouraged state. They finally make it back to the junction with the two symbols. This time, Tesni leads them down the path headed East. The path heads East a short way, and just as they turn to head North again a Bing Bong Bing Ding emmanates from Tesni's pack. The team continues on, heading East again, then South. After a few small bends, the Timekeeper sounds again "Bing Bong Bing Ding Ding" just as they come upon a family of bats. Some seem to be sleeping, but a big Grey one lets out a screech and three others wake up. PREPARE FOR BATTLE!   19. PAB is a really expensive way to go for basic bricks. They just don't fit in the cup very well. I suggest light bluish-grey, dark bluish-grey, tan, dark tan and I suggest buying it on bricklink in bulk. However, you are competing with just about every castle builder on those colors and so it can be very tough. :(
  20. Thanks for the detailed photos. This fig looks great. All hips are narrower than torsos (except maybe the genie bottom, not 100% sure off the top of my head), but I agree that in this case it is quite distracting from the flow. Overall a wonderful figure and I'm looking forward to getting it.
  21. Keep everything. Some day you'll be building something you never thought you'd be building, and you will happily find that in the box of "rare colors and stuff i'll never use" you find a bunch of bricks that are very expensive and just what you need! This just happened to me yesterday. Over $100 worth of rare bricks I didn't even realize I had and thought I'd have to go without of a project, happy surprises are the best!
