  1. At CES a couple years ago I saw a tethered bullet cam made for this purpose, it could be fed directly into the RED One at the time. I can't recall much about it though as it was out of my budget. Have you asked around on the red forums? They are usually very helpful chaps there. You could do it with rack/follow focus on a shot by shot basis. I only shoot Lego in stop motion and have not tried any type of "live" movement, but I am very inexperienced with animating Lego (more experienced with live action filming not involving Lego)
  2. You will get much better results using a macro capable lense rathan than using extension tubes. It really depends on how close you need to get to the objects and how wide you need the FOV.
  3. please don't control my character. thanks in advance.
  4. Wow Oky that turned out amazing. Glad you didn't give up!
  5. Official Sigfig
  6. Thanks! There are more photos in the comments thread http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=68052
  7. First of all I have to say that this is my first Harry Potter MOC so please be a little gentle. I'm still very upset that LEGO (and WB perhaps) decided that Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw houses don't exist. Here's one without any students
  8. The Great Hall It's empty because of being late at night and all the students are sleeping. I'm sure there will be activity tomorrow.
  9. I'm sure anyone can type LEGO without difficulty. Are you guys sure you were typing it right?
  10. It's probably a "patent pending" brick. Check inside the top where you would see the 3001 stamp and see what it says there. Probably "Patent Pending" or "Patent Pend" The logo looks similar to this one, but in a different orientation.

  12. Excellent work. Looks perfect!
  13. Ah ok. Hmm I don't think I've seen any project like that yet. You should work one up and post it.
  14. At the rate it's going up tonight it will hit 10,000 very early Saturday morning.
  15. No worries, I'm not the one who may regret it
  16. Yes seeing us falling behind is painful. I wish I had some time to do more free builds Great work Ecclesiastes on your small build.
  17. My reaction when i opened this thread : Serioiusly there is so much here to look at and it's all great. I'd say this is your best work so far and gets me even more excited to see what's next. That first photo just blew me away.
  18. Looking great! I put my order in last night for lots of tan goodies.
  19. Sandy is Sandy. Nothing else matters.
  20. Thank you everyone for the comments. Well yes...however I was considering this was supose to be a map/model and I hope the architects would not build those gaps!
  21. "Yeah it is nice to be back. I'm doing well, trying to sell my shovel since I never want to dig again. Hoping to pick up a new elemental gem at the marketplace soon. Wanted to come by the Hall first, mostly so I can go through my bag and see if there is anything else I can sell at the marketplace." She starts going through her bag. "Thanks so much for your work on the quest. I wish we hadn't lost Bluto, but I feel like we can get him back if we just train enough."
  22. Cinna finally comes into the Hall after the long quest 14. The first thing she does is post a note: Shovel FOR SALE: Used but clean and good condition. Only 7 gold Next she seeks out her team-mate, Bartholomew. "Hail Bartholomew, how are you doing this fine day? Glad to be home finally?"
  23. Just because it doesn't come from actual dice-rolling-battles does not make it FREE XP. It's an RPG and exceptional RPing and puzzle-solving without possibly needlessly risking the "life" of your team should be rewarded if the QM deems it worthy.
