  2. I think picture 7 of 23 is meant to be the minifigure Pope as he's standing on the balcony (Loggia of the Benediction)
  3. Thank you GallardoLU
  4. Could someone please tell me where the corner building with the word shop in yellow on it that starts being visible on the left hand side of the screen at 0.11, then again from 0.15 to 0.17 comes from? Is it something from Lego, or can I get the building instructions for it somewhere?
  5. I have been looking at the 2 simpsons sets, Simpsons House & Kwik e Mart. My lego gets played with by a child as well as being 'mine', so play value counts as well as future possible use of parts in other builds & the model as it is built from the instructions. If I can buy one, I will almost certainly not be able to purchase the other until next year, so I am aware there is a risk I will not be able to buy the other. If you only had one, which would it be?
  6. A Place for everything has the biggest lego storage range of giant bricks & heads I've seen in one place on sale about 20% off, sale has about a week left to run. They also have the lunchboxes etc... Saw all the colours, so giant bricks in the traditional colours, Friends colours, grey ones, pastel colours, the lego movie bright orange & so on. Giant lego man & woman head storage is 40% off, so £10, small man head 50% off, so £6 (small woman head sold out) Just ordered a bundle of 4 of the large bricks in a black/white/grey bundle for £66.00 + postage (5.95 or 6.95 for next day)
  7. I don't know if they have done one in the past & I've just never seen it but I'd like a Billboard guy (you know the people wandering around with advertising boards front & back) Gender:Male Torso: A t-shirt over long sleeved t-shirt design Headgear: Visor cap and shoulder length male hair Facial expression: bored or similar miserable looking expression. If he has 2 faces, one with beard Legs: Jeans colour Accessory: Billboard with print on front & back, pref different
  8. Thanks for the welcome I hadn't thought of checking if any of the libraries round here have a printer, my local one barely manages to have a photocopier so I'll check that out too.
  9. Newly signed up AFFOL here from the uk. Long time casual lego builder waiting for my first ever 'big set' (Modular buildings Pet Shop) to arrive as my youngest has finally stopped chewing on the corners of every bit of lego in the house. I have been mostly building with the software for lack of real pieces up to now, but have a few of the lego Architecture sets already. My lego interest is mostly about buildings & landscapes. My other loves are C4d, gardening (stuff to eat not flowery things) & sci-fi/fantasy novels. I'm really interested in the notion of buying a small 3d printer to print my own custom blocks at some point in the future now the price of little printers is coming down Thought I'd sign up here because I kept getting links to this site when I was looking for various bits of info around the web.
  10.
